Minty quickly take them all into her inventory as we look around us suspiciously. Both of us giggling to ourselves, all excited about our findings.

I went to investigate the altar. There are obvious signs of blood magic and necromancy magic involved, which are in line with what Mad Dead is, but something’s odd is here too. The blood gives sign that it is some sort of a ritual, then I realized that I have a book related to it.
“Mad Dead.”
Seems to be a fool who wish to obtain immortality by experimenting on both the living and the dead. Whether one can be alive without a soul, or the other whether they can be dead with a soul. There’s a lot of tangents thanks to the mind of this Mad Dead. It’s simply too chaotic to understand. His findings gave birth to a lot of spells containing both Necromancy and Blood Magic.
[Minty]: “Find anything?”
[Siola]: “Shh.”
As Minty zipped her mouth, I continue on my search, and there lies a ritual. Same markings, same signs, but something that shocked me however is this mention of the Black Old King.
[Siola]: “…”
He wishes to serve him. He wishes to learn from him. He wishes to kill him.
By creating this ritual, with the knowledge of the Black Old King, he will be able to meet him and obtain true immortality with Book of the End. However, his research stopped after finding out that there is a missing piece. There is yet another book. Somewhere in the world.
He died a century looking after it. The very same book, tucked in my inventory.
‘I have to inform Ludwig about this, but what if he also doesn’t want it?’

“Remember when I told you that things can get dangerous with those books? It might be right now, so can you wait on the other side of the room? Just in case.”
Hesitating, “You sure you’re going to be alright?”
“Heheh, I don’t know.”
Worried, and yet, still doing what I said. I’m glad that she did because even I really don’t know what’s about to happen. This is something entirely new from my past life.
I lay the Book of Crypt Death in the middle. Then, I took out the books of the Black Old King. Suddenly, both of them were taken by the air and forcefully opened. All three books flip their own pages until they reach a specific page.
Taken aback, illusory walls behind me, everything around me turns black. Until, it becomes gray and white. Fog. Clouds. Spreads throughout an open space as I stand on it.
“Huff, huff, huff.”
The footing on the clouds is hard, I never need to balance myself.
“No way.”
The sky. There is nothing in the galaxy, there is not even a galaxy. Just thick clouds.

An unclaimed Transcendental Realm hidden from the world, from everything. Every Lost Realm that I know of took a massive amount of effort to conquer. Three whole guilds and it took them no more than 6 months to do it. And I’m standing on my lonesome here.

Powerful soundwave ushered the clouds as I’m blown away by it.

When I turned, my eyes widened at the sight of a ginormous crown lifting the clouds away. Its wearer is a black helmet, a soldier, a knight. All bent and loose as it stretches out.

I kept looking up as it towering over me, I’m just a speck in its shadow.

I wish it would be so simple. Leaving the Lost Realm is the easiest one I could right now. There is no time limit of when I can go back, if I can obtain Chronomancy magic, I might have a chance but it’s the first time I’ve seen it. A difficulty of “God”.
But the other quest being on a lesser difficulty requires me to go through this, and I don’t even know if I get a reward, or what am I even going to do.
Taking a step back, suddenly, I remember how Ludwig doesn’t want this. He knew about this. Does that mean it would be useless if I were to inform him about this whole thing?

I can feel my hair going up as another shade towering me from behind. A tall knight in rusted black armor, he doesn’t wear a cape but he wears a crown with many dark-colored gems.

My legs feel like they’re giving up on me. The amount of pressure he’s making is enough to make me tremble and I’m having difficulty to breathe. But I power through and follow.

We arrive at an empty throne. Cracked walls it attached to. The knight walks to the throne. When he is seated, it is like the throne is made for him.
He pinched the gem from his crown and pluck it out. Flicking it towards me, it hovers. The cloud gathers to it and froze, becoming a circlet with a dark orange gem.
