My luck has been terrible so far, ‘Maybe I should invest some points in that attribute. Having good drop rates on things is not so bad of investment too.’
So, I did. Spending the 40 points I got on the Luck stat. As for my Primary Attribute points, I decided to keep them for later. Within my [Inventory] window, I can see the item reward for defeating the golem boss, even though we didn't actually defeat it ourselves.
“Lass, you must’ve gotten it too, yes? What the divine system gave us.”
“Yeah. Did you get anything out of it?”
“This sword.”
Unlike the previous one he holds which then could shatter at any moment. The new one he has is a tempered steel blade, “I cannot fathom how it is possible,” for me to witness an NPC receiving anything from the system. Then again, I’m in uncharted territory here with Realism Mode enabled.
[E-Grade Random Item Box]
It appears with the appearance to that of a treasure chest. Ornated depending on its grade. Upon making a concentrated contact, whether touch or sight, the box spins extravagantly with a glorious sound effect accompanying it as it opens.

5 cards can be unveiled. Sharp edges with two of them having metallic bronze color and the other two having a metallic silver color. The last has unique characteristics having an additional gold-colored lining spreading throughout the card.
Unveiling the first silver color.

‘Alright, I remember them all still. Let's see, I got good silver and decent gold. A Skill and Spell. The latter has limited quantity to be held at a time while the former is not, but unlike Spells, Skills have roughly less than 10-30% less effectiveness than Spells.’
‘Hm?’ wait a minute, ‘I can only pick one of these items???’
Gritting my teeth at the sight of the worst system ever, ‘Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiii? I just wasted my 40 SP on this!’ a shame to be using the Secondary Points like that, ‘No, come on, Siola. It’s an investment, just make do with what you have now.’
[Wall of Stone]
‘I don’t remember the spell being that useful in the later stage of the game but I have used it before. Summoning a literal wall made of stones, I can think of a number of ways to use it. Plus, it’s evolution-based. This means it will become a stronger spell the more I use it just like Tier 2 [Turn Undead] that I evolved all the way into Tier 9 [Ultima Turn Undead]. Not only that I can scare away non-living creatures, but I can also even inflict damage at the same time. And on top of that, heals me based on the damage I dealt. Priest class is truly powerful at endgame.’

‘Telekinesis just won’t cut it. What am I gonna do with it? Throwing rocks? I can just pick it up with my own hand. Plus, it’s leveling-based. So, what? The rock becomes faster when I throw it? Pretty much leaves the Wall of Stone, huh?’

I took the book out of the inventory and kept it in my arm. The sight makes Boland tilt his eyebrows, asking as he muttered, “A book?
Lightly smiling at him.

I think I understand why the golem is all mossy and old, this place reeks like a swamp. Much worse than the house I’m in. Not that it will affect my reading speed on this book.

‘Now then, all I need to level up one more and I should be able to use it. We’ve stalled for long enough because of me, I gotta get those times back and make haste.’
At a steady pace, we marched onward while keeping ourselves on guard.
But then I caught an enemy hiding behind a rock on the sideway. Small, like the size of a goblin but it has wings and the color of its skin is red.
‘A demon,’ squinting my eyes, ‘And it's also an undead.’
Missed the little details about the fact that its skin is rotting. I can see it, even without a night-vision spell, I can see it clearly thanks to my well-maintained eyes. Holding Boland to stop walking any further, I whisper, “Behind that rock. I’ll take the hit. You aim for the head.”
“Hm? Wait—”
Dashing towards it as it was jumped by the sudden action I took, quickly taking my axe out of the inventory, I leaped over the rock and slice the fucking thing.
*Woosh*
It evaded and instantly retaliate.
*Bam *Bam *Bam
Blocking it with the weapon I have, I can see where his claws are gonna go. However, if I dodge that kind of that attack, my Stamina meter will certainly be falling off the ceiling.
*Slash *BANG
Boland came in and sliced the monster’s head but it didn’t cut deep enough as it was struck and left staggered on the rock. I quickly take my dagger out and shove it up its ass… grinding it up as I swirl it inside.

“That was… quite a unique way of killing them.”
‘D-Don’t say it! I know it’s embarrassing but it was the only way I can think of defeating the thing at the moment!’
My memories of common enemies are vague, so I don’t really know the most efficient way of killing them other than using a Crowd Control spell.
Continuing on, we encountered many more of that creature. But as it turns out, it is not that big of a deal. Boland can inflict a number of damage on them without even using his abilities. I only support him by watching his back.

Upon intently activating it, my arm brims blue energy that spirals around it. I can feel a weight pressing unto my forearm as the energy turns color into brown, it looks magical. I directed my hand at the monster coming my way. I tightened my arm, clenching my fist, and bring it high.
*Boom*
At the same speed as the movement of my arm, the [Wall of Stone] that was conjured all of a sudden, hit the little monster from the bottom, crushing its pelvis on its way up.
{180}
Not even a critical hit, but the firepower is high to the point that it managed to unalive the thing for the second time.
‘Heheh, as I expected. I can use it as a weapon. Although short to mid-range, it’s already better than going melee when another golem decided to pop up.’
This realization alone makes me hyped about how my future venture will be as a Mage.
