2. Snowy hill

Chapter 2

Snowy hill

I continued driving until I met a hill on my way. A decently steep path that crossed a forest, but was near a small town so the roads were completely stolen by mother nature. After a while I was on the snowy mountain road. Going up the hill I passed a little blue car going the opposite direction. Silly but it was so relieving to find out I wasn't the only person in the world anymore. I tried not to slide off the hill but the hill was begging me to itch a little closer, I was shocked to see a truck right in the way and of course he didn't move. I hated it but I had to go around him. Trying to drive around him the wagon began to slide in the snow, I didn't fall off the hill but I did slide and the car began to spin. The car gave in to a snow bank made on the edge of the hill resulting in an uncontrolled rollover. The car flipped down the hill at this point I passed out only to wake up with glass, snow and some blood. my first thought was that I was unscathed. My tricked mind soon gave in to the realization that at least a foot of twisted teal blue metal was sticking out of my side. The pain soon followed but with luck it wasn't bleeding too profusely. I found the strength to crawl out of the car window. Standing up, snow slowly trickled down. Looking back at the car, it was a mangle abused sight to behold. I held my cut side and looked for anyone. I even tried to yell but I couldn't. With snow pouring down visibility was low and the temperature seemed to creep menacingly up to me. it appeared I was in a forest because of all of the trees and untouched snow. I walked and walked in the dark alone, my favorite car was destroyed and I couldn't even tell where I was anymore. I could see all around me beautiful fresh powder snow shining in the sunlight. At one point I was beyond cold but now that feeling was filled with despair and hope of seeing anything or anyone was fading. I fell a couple of times and on the last fall I began to lose consciousness but on the way down someone caught me. As I hung there with my face staring at the snow under me I felt warm gentle hands holding me up. But before I could look up with my eyes closed.
