"Hoho! We did a number on that cave."
Somewhere in the distance, I hear a conversation of around three people. Based on the conversation, I could tell that they were humans.
"Haha! Your right. The old stories of the Blue Devil were false. Though, wasn't that cave a bit decked out?"
"Decked out, you say... We didn't enter it, but it did have a door, so I guess you can say that. Maybe some random hobo was camping out in it?"
"Could be those stupid elves! If so, then we are doing our job. I mean, we are humans, the superior race, and we are fighting those nasty elves who took our land and riches!"
"Well said!"
"Haha!" "Hoho!" "Haha!" (All three laughing)
I couldn't believe what I heard or what I saw. My entire cave... No! My home is destroyed... And those ignorant and idiotic humans...
Something clicked within me as I was processing everything. My heart couldn't take it, and the urge to get revenge and destory those humans started to dwell inside me.
"Those bastards! I'll destory them and their entire kingdom! I bet it's a kingdom of no-good stealers and other bastards... Others would be glad of their extinction."
I barely noticed a light blue glow coming off me; however, since the urge to eliminate the kingdom was on my mind, I simply ignored the glow.
I immediately start to take action. They couldn't have gotten far from me, so I'll kill that trio and then eliminate their kingdom. With this, I activated my flight ability and flew towards the direction of the voices. To my surprise, the speed I was going outspeed both my physical power and when I used magic. Though, I didn't care since death and killing are all that is on my mind...

"Ah, Ken. This reminds me of the good times, doesn't it?"
"Your right... Though, I'm growing tired of all this warfare."
Currently, I am with one of my friends when I was in the military... The current military commander, Ritsuo. We are at war with the Kingdom of Ruland, a kingdom mostly made up of humans. Other races exist within the kingdom; however, some nobles believe they should be killed or leave the kingdom. Those nobles have a sense of supremacy and believe that humans are the godly race. This war is about them removing elves from the world...
"Haha! The monster of warfare is tired of warfare! How silly and funny. Though, I do wish things could be a bit more peaceful."
"I agree but staying peaceful is impossible. People have desires, after all... Now, who are you calling a monster? I know someone who is truly monstrous."
"Your talking about that Blue Devil, aren't you? I heard you had quite the time with him. You weren't lying, were you?"
"As if I would! Someone who would something as sinful like that wouldn't have been in the army."
"I guess that's true... Anyway, I'm grateful for you accepting the elder's request. Although you are not here to participate in the war but to watch is different, I'm still happy that you came. Having your support is helping the soldiers."
"Wow, so my existence is only to support others now?"
"Haha! It fits a retired soldier, like you, perfectly."
"Now, now... Should you start commanding the war?"
"I am! The war just started..."
"Well, get to it! I'll watch from here."
With that, the man leaves and begins commanding his people on the battlefield. He is one of the most promising and elegant people within the military. Without him, we would never stand a chance with Ruland.
...
About one hour has passed since the beginning of the war. Both sides are stained with blood, though our side is almost flooded with it. At the start, we were not at good odds. We had only 6,000 soldiers while Ruland had 21,000.
Now, we have lost 4,000, and Ruland lost 3,000. True, we are only 1,000 away from them in the death tolls, but as the war continues, our greatest enemy shows itself... Time.
We have better magic than the human kingdom, but our supply of mana is limited. After thirty minutes, we started to run low on mana. There was a mana potion shortage, so we barely had any potions to back us up. Right now, time is killing us, and that will be how we lose the war. If only we could do push them back somehow...
Then, someone came crashing down onto the middle of the battlefield at light speed.
"!"

Today is war day... We are now on the battlefield, waiting for the horn to start the battle. I'm standing beside the General and some other officers. The General is speaking about the chances of winning.
"Haha! See, I told you. With our numbers, we will win this war within two hours!"
"B-but can we?! The elves are masters at magic... I don't think we can do it."
"So? Magic isn't everything. We have more knighthood than they do and time in on our side. If we spread out, some spells will lose their effects. Plus, as time goes on, they lose their mana supply. Mana potions are rare, so even if they have an ample supply, they'll eventually be used up. Just watch and see!"
After this conversation, the horn was sounded, beginning this battle.
...
Then, an hour passes by. Even with blood on both sides, we are currently in the lead by 1,000 on the kill toll. At first, the elves used magic spells that eradicated our side. But as the General predicted, after about 30 minutes, their magic started to dim down, showing that they were low on mana.
Currently, the General and a couple of officers are together planning the next stage of the battle. I'm with them, of course, as their strategist, though I haven't done much. Then, a couple of soldiers (?) come from the side. It is a group of three...
"General! We have finished scouted on the other side."
"We wrote everything down on here."
They handed the General with a piece of paper.
"Good job! You may take a break and have some food."
"Thank you!" (All three)
They started to move to the back, where the camp is set up. As they do, the air around us thickens. What is this... Something is about to happen...
My intuition tells me that our side is about to be smothered in blood. I hurried and moved out of the battlefield, about two kilometers away. I fall onto the ground and watch from afar. Using magic, I watch something unique occur...
A lightspeed object flies through the sky and crashes onto the middle of the battlefield. The crash sends both soldiers flying.. or that what I thought when I saw it. On closer inspection, the elves' soldiers are being pushed back gently while the wind pressure kills our soldiers.
The earth shakes when the object crashes, making a large imprint onto the ground. All our soldiers that are left begin to tremble. The battle stops midway. Dust is everywhere, making it hard for either side to see.
After the shaking stops and the dust subsides, the object... no person... becomes visible. We all knew who was there instantly... The Blue Devil.
"So... (Swallow) He is real."
The Blue Devil... The beast is known for destruction and mastery of magic. Wearing a blue-colored coat and blue hair, he is the beast feared among the world. Some believe that he is fake, while others begin in him. I heard some people, even a kingdom, are treating him like a God. Nevertheless, he is a person you do not want to meet, especially on a battlefield.
I start to shake... Why? Why is this beast here?!
Suddenly, the beast starts yelling at our side.
"YOU BASTARDS!!! How dare you filthy humans dare to destroy my home?! Have you no dignity, or is it that you wanted to die so much? In any case, death is what is in store for every single one of you. Not just you, but your entire Kingdom! I'll slaughter every single one of you and your beloved ones! DIE!"
We were all quiet and couldn't move. The monster's aura made all of us sure that we would only make things worst if we moved or spoke. Well, everyone but the General. He idiotically yelled back.
"Ha! What is this, a fake? I bet the elves thought if they could scare us, they could make a run for it! My comrades! The enemy is trying to trick us. Don't be fooled and charged at that faker! We can..."
Before the General could finish his sentence, a bolt of blue lightning struck down onto the General and the officers around him.
"AHHHH!!!"
Screaming, the General instantly turned black and fell along with the others around him. In a matter of seconds, the Blue Devil killed the commanding officers and leader of the battle. Some thought this was all that was going to happen, but his anger showed that he was just getting started.
I watch as he moved his right hand up and snap. A magic circle colored blue and about a kilometer's size forms in the sky: I could see some bolts of lightning within the circle, but I could be imagining it. Oddly, the circle only stayed blue, so no one knew what attributes it was... Although water is blue, this blue is a bit deeper, like a dark blue...
The circle then starts to spin. It is getting faster and faster until it then starts to fade to nothingness. The circle is now gone, making it like nothing had happened. Was the spell a dud?
No... It is impossible to be a dud... "Wait!"
Suddenly, my intuition tells me to run, so I start bolting further away.
Being now 5 kilometers away from where the General died, I turn back to see what happened. My eyes widen.
When using magic to get a better look, I see an enormous meteorite flying down from the sky. At high speeds, it crashed onto the ground, sending enormous shockwaves, similar to the devil's, in all directions.
Once the meteorite crashed onto the ground, a heatwave spread in all directions along with an explosion. My vision was filled with smoke and fire, so I was unable to see the damage.
After five minutes, the smoke and fire died down a little. The battlefield that was dyed in red was now stained in black and burnt to a crisp. Everyone burnt along with the ground... Everyone but a few humans and the elves. Looking at what happened from afar, it seems that the damage only occurred within a semi-circle area around the middle of the battlefield.
Lucky for me, the damage seemed to stop after a 4-kilometer radius away from the devil. For the elves, however, there seems to be an invisible wall... Did the elves use their barrier magic?
My thought got answered when I looked within the black ground. A single spot was still green. On top of it stood three people...
They are the people that gave the General a piece of paper...
The devil starts to yell at these people...
"YOU THREE! I saved yall for last... After I kill you, slowly, that is, I'll go to your kingdom and kill your families first... Then the entire kingdom! You have any last words?"
"Please! Devil... I mean, our God! We were ordered..."
"Lies! I overheard your meaningless conversation. Lies Lies Lies! You three... For destroying my home, you will pay with your lives!"
"No!" (The three of them)
With the flick of the devil's finger, the wind above the people starts circulating. Seeing that non of the other air around is like that, I feel like there is a barrier placed on the group, making it impossible for them to escape...
"AHH!"
They start to scream as the wind turns into a spinning blade. The blade formed on the ground, cutting their feet and dying the ground red. The air within the chamber seems to be sucking everything down, making their deaths even more painful.
They keep screaming and screaming. All that could be seen was blood flying through the chamber. Even the barrier wall stained red. Once the screaming stopped, we all knew that they died.
To prove this, the barrier vanishes, dropping the blood on it to the ground. What was left in the middle of the blood was nothing but organs, broken bones, and more blood—a truly gruesome scene.
"I'm glad I ran away..."
Feeling safe, I look toward the devil to get a better look at him... That was a mistake.
When I take a better look at him, I notice that he is looking straight at me. How?!
I tried to move, but I couldn't. My body refused to. Even if I did, I would die instantly, never the less.
"This is... my end."
