Wait! I have the ability to teleport, or should have the ability, but how do I use it? In most of the anime that I have seen, in order to activate skills or magic, you need to say a chant which is usually the name of the skill. If I say 'teleport' with a clear location in mind, I might be able to teleport to the cave. Well, it's worth a try!
I clear my mind and replace any thoughts with that cave where I woke up in. Then, I call out the chant hoping for it to work.
"Teleport!"
At that moment, a blue-colored pentagram appears both above me. It begins spinning clockwise as it descends down my body. Once it reached the bottom, it transforms into a larger circle below my feet. As soon as the larger pentagram appears, the scenery all around me instantly changes to that of what the outside of the cave was.
"It worked!"
I look down at my feet and above me but I can't find the pentagrams anymore. If I had to guess, those things must have been magical circles. Well, they might not be but they sure look like some.
Anyway, I should get to bed, though, I don't feel that tired. Still, if I don't get any sleep, I'll come to regret it later.
Nodding to myself, I enter the deepest part of the cave and fell onto the cold hard floor where sleep took over my body instantly.

A Retired General's Point of View:
"Bwahaha! What hilariousness!"
"I know right?! Elves were scared of a monster that doesn't even exist!"
"Man, maybe they were taking shrews or something... What babies! Hick~"
Laughter can be heard inside Elvain La Piece, the famous tavern in Elvania. Today, you can find only military soldiers or third-tier individuals in the tavern tonight. About the soldiers, most are off duty or are on-duty members but they are currently on their break. That said, all members inside the tavern are talking about the same thing: the incident that occurred yesterday.
Yesterday night, two elves came running in at high speeds and screaming their lungs off. Both were yelling out nonsense too.
"The Blue Devil is real!"
"The world is about to end! Run for your life!"
They kept screaming and running around until the military notice the commotion and rushed to calm them down. Once they were calmed, the soldiers began questioning them. From the information that they gathered, it appeared like the two of them attempted to go through the Blue Devil's Den as a bravery test, though they probably wanted to impress one another.
Speaking about the two, it was later noted that one of the screamers was the son of a third-tier citizen while the other was only the daughter of a 2nd-tier citizen. Nevertheless, they both caused a big ruckus.
"Yo Ken! What do you think?"
"To be honest, I believe we shouldn't discredit the existence of the monster. I mean, a third-tier citizen was in the mixed. I doubt one would ever lie about such a serious subject."
"Y-your right... Wait, does that mean you believe in the devil?"
"No, not particularly, but if such an ideal scared the elves of Elvania, then it is either the devil itself or a monster that got mistaken for the devil. Though, if it was a different monster, it must be at a high rank to be mistaken for the devil..."
The Blue Devil... A monster among monsters. Rumored to have the power to destroy the world in an instant. Known throughout the world for wearing a blue-colored outfit, blue hair, and having blue eyes. That said, we elves don't believe in its existence. I mean, humans were the ones who came up with the idea to scare their children by creating a mythical creature. Some elves also use this rumor to scare their children too.
"But! The dude was the son of a third-tier, meaning that he is really young! Youngers..."
"It's true that the young would make such a prank but he was only a year apart to be a second-gen. I don't think an elf in his position would lie like that."
"I guess you're right..."
Stolen novel; please report.
After the guy spoke, a middle-aged man enters the tavern. Whenever a table turns over to spy on the newcomer, they all froze. The reason? Well... That man is the current third general of the army.
"Well now... What do we have here? A general of the army dares to come drinking inside a tavern?"
The general walks up to me and spits on my face. I reply with my usual tone.
"You mean to say, a former general. Besides, you're one to say since you're the general inside of a tavern."
"Gr... Anyway, the topic of yesterday is hilarious, don't you agree? Who in Elvania would believe that the Blue Devil actually exists!"
"Hmm? I take that as the army doesn't plan to go on an investigation."
"Of course we're not! We don't have the time to worry about matters that don't exist. But that's strange, are you telling me that you believe that the Devil exist?"
"I don't, but even if it wasn't the devil, it had to be a strong monster if it got mistaken for the devil!"
"Huh? It seems you forgot about the barrier. With it, no monsters would ever be able to enter our domain. I can't believe that you forgot about that fact."
"No, I remembered, but it could be a monster that can break or ignore the barrier."
"What?! No such monster exists. Even the Blue Devil couldn't enter here if he did exist! But you seem so worried. How about you do a private investigation if you are so worried about us."
"Fine! I will. When you don't see me return, you'll know that I died by the beast on the other side."
"..."
My words cause the general to lose focus for a moment. It appears he didn't think I would be serious.
"Alright. I'll see you when you return with nothing but your lost pride!"
With that, the general turns around and charges out the door. Silence fill the aired but that only lasted a moment. Afterward, laughter returns. I continue drinking for another hour. Then, I walk out of the tavern and headed home.
Once home, I prepare my outfit for tomorrow with my weapons ready to go. Tomorrow will be the day I'll be leaving the town to go on a private investigation. Though, based on the fact that the devil could be waiting for me, I might not come back alive. I guess I'll spend the morning as if it's my last day in this world...

Akuma's Point of View:
"Woah!?"
I bolt out of bed, confused about my surroundings. After my body fully wakes up, I remember that I'm in a different world with this cave being my new home.
"Ah, a nightmare..."
It appears that a nightmare has woken me up from my slumber. That said, it felt as if I only slept for about 10 minutes.
I walk outside to get some fresh air when I notice that it is the afternoon of the next day. I have the feeling that I would have slept the entire day off and a couple of more days if that nightmare didn't wake me up.
That said, the nightmare was only me being removed from my old world and into this one. Though, the world I dreamed about had me in all sorts of terrible situations. I'm glad I'm in this peaceful place rather than that deadly world.
Anyway, what shall I do today? I guess I should spend most of my time training so that I can get stronger but I'm not that sure on how to do that. Well, how about I start by getting accustomed to the powers that I wished for. First, how about I try flying!
I nod to myself as I move to a wide-open area. Once there, I prepare myself as I say aloud the chant.
"Flight!"
Apon saying the chant, a blue-colored pentagram appears under my feet and stays there. To see if I can fly now, I try ascending in the air by trying to make an invisible force push me upwards.
As I do this, I slowly gravitate off the ground. I ascend higher and higher until I reach ten meters off the ground.
"It worked! Woah!"
At this height, I'm able to see more of the scenery. Well, most of it is blocked by the forest but it makes the forest that much more beautiful and outstanding! Though, it's strange. From this height, I can see that this is the only area that has a circle-radius with zero trees. It's a tad weird but I guess it doesn't matter.
"Alright, let's try moving."
I picture myself having an invisible force move me forwards. As I do, I slowly move in the direction I'm facing.
"Sucess!"
I continue picturing forces moving me in about every direction that I could think of. After testing this for about 30 minutes, I slowly descend and land back on the ground.
"Nice! I'm now able to fly anywhere I want. That said, I'm going to need to practice flying each day if I want to improve and get faster. Alright, I guess I'll move on."
I already know how to teleport do I'll skip that for now. Ooh! How about I try to use magic! That said, how do I use it? I doubt shouting the chant is going to work with it...
To test out the theory, I move my hand out and shout a word.
"Fireball!"
...
I waited for one minute but nothing changes. Yep, I guess that my method to fly and teleport won't work with magic. Hmm... What shall I do about it then?
"!"
That's when I remembered one of the powers that I asked for: The ability to have all knowledge about magic in the form of books.
Right, I knew that this would be a problem so I added the knowledge of magic so that I could understand it and figure out how to use magic. That said, how do I open up the database?
Hmm, instead of chanting, an idea came to me to picture myself opening an ebook library within myself as if I'm opening one on an electron device.
As I do this, a GUI appears in front of me with thousands of book names within it. It appears that successfully got it to open. Nice!
Alright, let's see here... Huh? Some of these titles shouldn't be here? Like the ones about races and the geography of the world, and... Oh, wait! It did say that it has all knowledge about magic including anything that has mana or can use magic. I guess that explains why races are in here, but what about the geography? Eh, I shouldn't complain...
Instead of complaining, I open up a book that caught my attention: Races - Elves.
I opened it up because of the event that occurred yesterday. I wanted to use magic, but my curiosity got the better of me. I mean, I wanted to know more about them. Like, are they afraid of humans or something?
Once opened, words appeared on the GUI. I continue reading the words for about 30 minutes.
...
"And finished! Wow, that was some useful information."
Most of the information was stuff that may not have been needed but most of it is interesting. Due to the length of the book, I'll summarise what I read.
