- Endo Ken's Point of View -
"Endo Ken! On what matter, did you come here today? We were in the middle of a meeting, so it has to be extremely important. Now speak!"
"Yes, our elders! On a personal mission, I went to the Blue Devil's den. Once there, I encounter... the Blue Devil himself and confirmed his existence."
All nine members of the council's eyes widened, and they started talking. It slowly became very noisy inside the council's room.
"What did he say?!" "I-Impossible!" "Were they not just myth?" "Aww... I thought he came to take my position as an elder..." "Our world might be gone!"
Suddenly, one of the elders shouts to quiet everyone. It was the same one who came out into the lobby to see what happened. Actually, he is also the chief elder and the number one in the council.
"Everyone, quiet! Ken, it seems like you did have important business to talk about. If this were to spread to the public, I don't know what would happen... I do have a question. Are the rumors true? Is this monster... dangerous enough to destroy the world?"
I immediately answer the chief elder's question.
"Yes, Elder. In fact, his magical powers are too extortionary. Enough power to destroy the world in seconds. He can even... revive the undead back to life."
"!"
"K-ken... is such a thing true?!"
I look down at one of the elder's questions.
"Yes... As a matter of fact, I have experienced it firsthand."
"Wait! Does that mean..."
"Y-yes... After talking with the monster, I saw that he could be a threat to the world. He... He wanted to learn about casting magic, so I had no chance but to teach him. I discovered that he was new to using magic, so I thought if I took him out in his weak form, he couldn't grow stronger. Unfortunately, his growth is unfathomable. He took me out instantly with a smile on his face. Then, I guess he revived me to show off his power..."
"That's... Ken, if what you are telling us is true, our world might be in trouble... The only chance we might have is to unite the world. Get support from all the kingdoms... Even the Demon Lord. If everyone unites, we might have a chance to defeat this being."
"But chief! How can we trust what Ken says? I mean... He denied your request for him to join the council and..."
"Silent! Do you not know how much Ken has done for Elvania? If it were not for him, this kingdom might not have existed. Ken, I apologize for my colleges' attitude towards you."
"That's... okay."
"I'm glad to hear that, but Ken... I have a request for you."

- Akuma's Point of View -
It is now the next day. After Ken left, I immediately went to bed. As a matter of fact, I just awoke from my slumber an hour ago.
Today, I plan to do many things. First, if I'm going to live in this cave, I will need to cozy it up a bit. Thankfully for me, there is a bunch of lumber everywhere.
I had a little wood-crafting hobby in my past life, so I know a couple of things about making furniture out of wood. That said, I mostly made wooden dolls from the anime I watched...
Anyway, today I'm going to spend my time gathering wood and decorating my cave a bit.
Okay, so how do I get the wood from the trees? I don't have an ax on me...
Thus, my first problem instantly arrived. I search the surrounding area to see if any of the rocks were sharp or good enough to be used as an ax head but sadly, non were to be found.
Feeling dejected, an idea hit me: magic. Magic is in this world to be used after all!
But I just learned it... Can I even create some magic to bring it down? I haven't practiced it yet after Ken taught me.
I wanted to start practicing magic after I make my cave cozy. Still, it might take a bit before discovering magic that can cut the tree down with ease. I mean, fire magic is only going to burn the tree and create a forest fire...
Well, that can be my backup plan. Ooh! How about I try that...
Another idea hit me, though it sounds a bit dumb. I tested it out, nevertheless.

I walk towards the nearest tree that I could see. After finding one and standing less than a meter away from it, I give it a strong punch. Pain instantly ran throughout my entire arm. That was a really dumb idea!
I don't know why I did it; I just felt that I could, so I tested it. Maybe I should have thought about it a bit more before testing it.
Although, to my surprise, I hear a loud thud which jumpscares me.
"!"
When I look where the sound came from, I spot the tree that I punch on the ground.
"It... worked?"
I don't know why it worked, but I'm grateful, nevertheless. Now, how am I going to cut the wood even further?
Again, another dumb idea pops into my head, and I tested it out. Forming my hand to a chopping formation, I give the wood a chop. Pain spreads throughout my body for another time...
After the pain subsides, I look at the tree to see that a portion of it has been split. Progress!
I smile on my face without my noticing, and I begin work. Focusing on working, eight hours pass by in a blink of an eye.
"With that, I'm done!"
I wipe the sweat that is on my face while looking at my new cave. Although my hand is bruised to the bone, it was all worth it. It looks like nothing changed from the outside except that there is now a door at the cave entrance. I enter through the door.
"Ahh..."
The floor and the walls are still made of rock; I didn't change that. It helps to keep my house cool, which I love. What I did add is some furniture. First, I made a Futon to sleep on. I didn't have any monster or animals hide or fur yet, so I had to do some tree leaves.
I also made a small traditional table. Since I wanted to live as I did at home, I made some mats out of leaves to feel my legs wouldn't hurt when I'm sitting near my table. Although this isn't much, my cave is cozier.
However... I might have punched too many trees... I still have 3 trees left of wood that I didn't use. For now, I put the excess wood inside the cave since I have enough space, but I need to do something with it at a later date. Also, there is another problem... LIGHT!
There is some light near the entrance, but there is now even less light with the door in place. My eyes have adjusted to the cave's darkness, but I can't live in this darkness forever. If I want to train at night, I'll never be able to see. Though I don't know how to get light, I'll have to worry about that later.
Wait... Couldn't I make light from magic? Or maybe make a magical item to cast light?
To do that, I need to practice and read those books. Knowledge is power, after all. Haha...
Based on the sun's location, it seems to be around 3:00 P.M. I only have so much more of the sun's light to do anything, so I should make use of it. No, the use of the upcoming days as well.
With that, I declare to myself that I'll grow stronger in the field of magic. Not only that, I wanted to increase my physical prowest too.
I spend the next couple of days planning out a regiment to get stronger when I finally pick one I liked. From that day on, I followed it through and through, even when I felt like giving up.
...
From this day on, Akuma continues to train with the regiment he creates. Although it is harsh, he continues with it to get stronger. However... While Akuma trains, the world begins to move at a rapid pace. For example, one kingdom calls a meeting of military officers and high officials about 11 months after Akuma starts training... The subject? War...
- Chiba Eichi's Point of View -
"Haha! The plan has been going swimmingly! Now, all that is left to do is declare war and start the battle with the elves. Once Elvania is destroyed, we will be treated like kings! I wonder if the king will give high some high positions and rewards once we win the war?"
"Uh... Sir? Once we are at war, can we even beat the elves? I mean, their magical powers are deadly are they not compared to us, humans?"
"Huh?! Are you stupid? We are the godly race! Of course, we will win. Besides, we have numbers. Now, don't worry..."
Suddenly, the General turns towards me.
"The king gifted us the best strategist in the entire world!"
All other eyes turn to look at me. After looking me up and down, everyone shook their head, agreeing with the commander.
"Yeah... Your right!" "We got this in the bag!" "With Eichi, we can not lose!"
"Yeah! Now listen up, everyone! Once we wait for confirmation, we will head out to battle!"
Everyone but me yells to agree with the General's words. In truth, he is good at rallying the troops. I mean, he used me to do so. He might be dumb, but he is also somewhat smart. If it wasn't for this dumb idea, he might have been a great leader...
I'm currently on a mission while participating in the military's meeting about an upcoming war with Elvania, a kingdom of elves. Unlike the General's hatred toward other races, not many people within our kingdom are thrilled to kill all other races or show human dominance. Even the King doesn't wish to battle other kingdoms, but he had no choice but to agree with all the nobles supporting the idea.
Well, I guess that is what my mission is... Taking out the trashy nobles so that this idea of dominance would go away. Sadly, the General bypassed me and caused a whole lot of trouble. He hated other races for a long time, but he couldn't do much with his authority. And then, somehow escaping my sights, he uses the current kingdom's situation as a starting boot to spread his hatred to other influencing people. Very smart...
Our kingdom is indeed low on resources and land. The General used this and spread that if we took over Elvania, we could gain their resources and land. The King wanted not to accept this, but almost all the nobles love the idea. Thus, this meeting and a couple of others were created to start a war between them.
Now, Elvania is a known kingdom of elves. It is also known for being unknown. I mean, no one but the elves knows where Elvania is. When we tried to get information, no one would talk. Some captured elves died before sharing any knowledge with us. Thus, the only way to declare war is to fight the other elves' villages scattered worldwide. Since Elvania can't afford to lose them, they'll fight. Plus, we know they are in the Blue Devil's den, but no one would go near the place. Plus, it too big that it would take too long to search for. They would escape by the time we did find them...
Anyway, we are close to declaring war with Elvania. Actually, we already have and are waiting for a response. Suddenly, as I was thinking this, the door to the meeting room slowly opens.
"General! I have news about the declaration. It has been known to Elvania. The first battle has also been known and set. The official battle will start in a month as you wanted. Also, the battle will take place within the Blue Devil's den."
"Finally! Thanks for your work. You may now leave. Everyone get ready! Soon we will be victorious. Hiya!"
"Hiya!" (Cheers from everyone but one.)
Yare yare... Things are about to be troublesome.
...
Then, a month passes by, and the war begins. Both armies are now at the battle in the Blue Devil's den. Like what the General said, it is a battle of 21,000 vs. 6,000... With a clear advantage in numbers, I wonder how this war will turn out... Will we win?
