Lara's POV;
Another man was gurgling and drowning in his own blood. Lia has cut his throat open with a weak imitation of a finger pistol. It was strong enough to make a hole, yet not enough to hit his spine.
“Ah, this town allows me to vent all my pent-up frustrations”, sighed Lia happily.
I too was occupied and standing on the head of a man. “I know, and it's surprising that they don't learn”, I agreed and then put more pressure on the skull of my own would be rapist. The bone cracked and pierced his brain. He died with a muffled pained cry. His please for mercy were annoying, so I had pressed his head into a puddle of the piss from one of his friends.
We were deliberately only using side alleys and had the fortunate luck to ran into no less than four groups of kidnappers so far. All of them died painfully and some slowly.
It might have something to do with what we are wearing. Both of us only wear a tight tank top and shorts, both of our favourite colours. Mine in black and neon green and Lia's in orange and red.
“We should come here more often”, suggested Lia after taking what little money the thugs had.
“I'd love to, but it seems like the rest of us does not like Mock Town as much as we do. Nojiko does not even want to step off of the ship. And the guys were also not amused how women are treated here. Jonny and Yosaku are still somewhat honourable, Josef is a gentlemen and Noa is the most childish.” Mrs Chicken Wing, the lazy bird she was, sat on my shoulder the whole time and was now clucking in agreement.
“I know, a pity. Sometimes I wish we had formed a crew of psychopath who would kill and destroy alongside us.” Her words were not serious, she too was starting to like the crew. I found her, on her own volition, sometimes chatting with Nojiko or Jo, both are intelligent enough for her to converse with. She is still not fully used to Noa and the sword duo are too childish for her.
I liked to speak with Jo about medical stuff, but have little to share with Nojiko. Noa is quite skilled in building furniture. I made him teach me some things, you never know when you might want to build a house or other stuff. Jonny and Yosaku are always good for some jokes or a quick sparing, their more childish behaviour matches mine well.
Lia only accepts my childish behaviour because I am cute, she loves me and she knows I do it purposely to relax. Her form of relaxing is still killing things. Mostly fish and sea kings, but if possible people. Lately she also started to cook for relaxation. Still, my little mass murderess looks kinda cute with a few blood splatters on her face. She should have the nick name Blood Elf and not True Shot.
“But psychopaths might always decide to risk it and attack us. Moulding somewhat normal people into loyal fighters may take longer, but is sure to bring greater results.” I counter-argued. She stuck her tongue out at me and skipped out of the alley.
We still had our list of stuff to purchase.
We quickly learned that the merchandise here was questionable. The fish has had the best quality and that was guaranteed with this being an island. Vegetables were almost always with some scratches or of poor quality and the meat itself wasn't even touched.
It was neither cooled, nor looked to be fresh. A pity, I saw a lot of chicken that was once in perfect condition to be eaten. So with little success in gaining quality food, we stopped shopping and searched a nearby tavern.
It was a nice neat little pub. We were greeted with a flying customer that crashed right through the window. It was one of those windows that were made out of wood and could swing outwards. We stepped over the now groaning guy and walked inside.
There was a loud party going on. In a corner, a group of maybe a dozen men were surrounding another two who were fighting. Their loud cheering and betting were even heard from the entrance.
The tables were all filled, with lightly clad women serving the customers. We couldn't see a free table, so walked over to the bar and sat down on a chair each.
“What can I get for you, two lovely ladies?”, asked the bartender a moment later. Like every good bartender he was polishing a glass, and like every good bartender, in a run-down shithole like Mock Town, the rug he was using for the glass was dirty.
“I'll have a glass of orange and grapefruit juice”, ordered Lia. I ordered nothing, if one of us gets drugged it'll be easier for me to kill the idiot. Soon after Lia had her strangely clean glass in front of her and I cooled it down with my Devil Fruit power.
She nodded in thanks and sipped a bit before both of us turned around and watched the pit fight in the corner. A nimble short man was doing quick attacks at a tank like burly guy. For most watchers, it looked like the nimble guy was winning, but then the big man got hold of him, hit him in the face once and then grabbed his leg to smash him repeatedly into the floor.
It took the big guy only four smashes before the fight was stopped. Shorty did not react to the referee and the big guy was declared as the winner. He received some Berry and promptly spend it on the bar.

Shorty got carried off by his friends, who were all glaring at the winning group. “Interested in betting?”, asked the bartender suddenly.
I glanced back at him and shook my head. “No, it was clear that Shorty will loose. He was fighting against someone with a lot of endurance in an enclosed space with little opportunity to manoeuvre.”
“So the little Missy knows a bit about fighting?”, asked suddenly a new voice. I turned to the speaker and was surprised to see Bellamy. I was surprised for two reasons, first because it meant we were finally faster than the Straw Hats, and secondly because I was wondering why he would speak with us when we have such a high bounty.
He leaned on the counter, right next to me and smiled at me with what he might consider a cool boy smile. “I can give you some tips if you want to know”, he then offered.
“No thanks”, I replied shortly, not even turning to him fully. I merely graced him with a disinterested glance.
He was quite miffed by my complete dismissal but forced his smile back in place. “My name is Bellamy, my moniker is Bellamy the Hyena. I'm worth 55million Berry”, he then proudly proclaimed.
Some people, who were watching him, were clapping and praising him loudly. Others tried to whisper how Bellamy is again getting some hot booty.
I think he thought we would react with awe or something similar, when nothing happened he pressed on. “What may I call you two lovely ladies?” He asked after the pause.
I decided it would be funny to see what he does, so I allowed him to know my name. “Lara.”
For a moment he looked to be in deep thought, maybe trying to remember anyone with the name on any wanted posters, and then he looked shocked before he shook his head in denial. “You wouldn't be Slicer Lara would you?”
“So you've heard of me? I don't know from where they got this nickname for me, but yes I am. And next to me is my sister True Shot Lia.” Lia looked away from her third glass of juice and looked to have noticed Bellamy for the first time. She eyed him briefly, shrugged and then ignored him in favour for her fruit juice.
From behind, I could hear how a few members of Bellamy's crew began to mumble fearfully. “I think he's way over his head with those two. True Shot alone has a bounty that is 20 million higher. And don't even speak about Slicer, she is worth almost trice than his bounty.”
“Ah, nonsense, Bellamy's charm will handle the rest. There isn't a bird that wouldn't fall for his charming smile”, shot someone else the first speaker down. They were too far away for normal people to hear, yet not for us.
“Your crew has become quite known in the last few months, yet you are still fairly new on the Grand Line. Maybe I can help you and teach you some important facts about living on the vast and dangerous sea?” His offer was reasonable and did even sound sincere if there wasn't his constant stare on my thighs and breasts.
He inched a little closer and tried to look me in my eyes, his so-called 'charming smile' in place. I in return leaned back. “Please keep your distance, you are smelling worse than the streets.”
His smile dropped instantly and his expression changed into an angry snarl. His minions behind us were panicking. Some were hoping that Bellamy would survive the coming fight, other thought us to be too weak to beat the Hyena. Apparently, because we are female.
I was mentally counting the seconds it would take him to react in anger when suddenly the door to the pub was thrown open. Some people looked over to the newcomers, others, like Bellamy, did not.
“Oh, there are Lia and Lara. I would recognise those sets of ears everywhere”, shouted Yosaku's voice over the sudden silence of the saloon.
“Oh yes,” confirmed Jonny. Both seemed to walk over to us, ignoring the crowd that was now looking at them. Jonny seated himself next to Lia and winked the bartender over to himself, while Yosaku sat down next to me. Blocking Bellamy from looking at me.
“Why are you inside such a shitty bar?” Asked Yosaku the moment he sat down. To him, I turned around, gave Bellamy a provoking smile and answered Yosaku with a very friendly tone.
“We got bored out on the streets and Lia wanted to drink some juice. So we decided to sit down for a moment, but some idiot is trying to hit on me.”
Yosaku frowned and turned around to look at a now fuming Bellamy. “And who might you be?”, asked Bellamy with badly hidden anger.
“I'm Yosaku, swordsman of the Kage Pirates”, answered Yosaku evenly and with a raised eyebrow.
Bellamy thought for a moment and then grinned when he didn't come up with any such name on a wanted poster. He stood fully up and glowered down at the still sitting Yosaku.
The intimidation attempt had no effect on Yosaku, who now also stood up. He had filled out since coming with us and the weak body he had during his stay in the East Blue was no longer there. He now was at least as tall and muscled as Bellamy. Yet, his were much more likely to be way denser, thanks to the high-pressure training Lia and I were giving him.
Both were now eye to eye level and neither backed off from their staring contest. It was funny to see and even funnier to hear how Bellamy's support thought he would win against the no name.
“Back off you no name pisser! I was talking to Slicer Lara here”, snarled Bellamy, while straightening his back to look bigger and more intimidating.
“Lara, is this piss head the annoying idiot that tries to hit on you?” Asked Yosaku with a look over his shoulder, completely ignoring Bellamy by doing so.
“Sure is, please protect me!”, I answered with wide eyes, a quivering lip and high squeaked damsel in distress voice. Lia snorted in amusement and Jonny questioned the air who needs the protection from whom.
Yosaku opened his mouth to answer, stopped, closed it again and then opened it for the second time. “Please never do that again, it's too devastating. And of course, I will protect him from you.”
Bellamy, too stupid or angry, most likely the first, to notice Yosaku's exact words, snarled in anger and took a swing at Yosaku, his arm was formed into a spring and ready to enhance his punch.
Yosaku, however, merely raised his right hand and caught the punch without even a flinch. A gust of wind blew my hair back and the strange cloud of dust that comes up in such fights was also present.
“Hah, he was even too stupid to evade. Not that he could have done that anyway!” Shouted Bellamy, already sure of his win. He then tried to pull his hand back but wasn't able to.
And right on time, the cloud settled down and everyone present could see how Yosaku had blocked the attack with only a single hand and no sign of any strain. Shocked outcries were coming from behind us.
“I think I have to teach you some manners. If my captains tels you to back off, then that means for you to apologise to her and then leave quietly”, stated Yosaku. His tone was bored and cool, he must have trained that.
“Fuck off you son of a bitch!”, snarled Bellamy, he has not quite yet realised that he is seriously outmatched.
And Yosaku made clear to show him of his misunderstanding, by clamping down on Bellamy's hand and putting pressure into his grip. For a short moment it looked like Bellamy could resist, but then his hand broke with a loud crack and the wannabe pirate screamed in pain.
Yosaku, still holding Bellamy's hand, was now looking down at him with a cold expression. “Speak to my captain one more time with such disrespect and a broken hand will be your least concern.” He then threw Bellamy away and turned back to the rest of us.
“Nojiko wants to know when we will leave, she does not like this place.” I nodded in understanding and stood up, Lia and Jonny did the same.
We were just about to leave when someone screamed an attack cry and rushed at us from one of Bellamy's supporters. He had blue hair and I was just about to kill him when Jonny jumped forward and used his own sword to hit a dagger out of the hands of the blue-haired idiot. A second swing and Jonny's blade was poised against the throat of the guy.
“We were in the process to leave, do you really wish to stop us now?”, he then asked coldly and glared at the bullet sweating blue haired man.
“N..no, sorry”, he apologised and then fell back on his bum. With a snarl, Jonny sheathed his blade and gestured for me to take the lead. I nodded and with me, in the lead, we left the stunned silent pub and began our track back to the Shadow.
“That was so cool, thanks for allowing me to do that”, shouted Yosaku once we were out of hearing range from the pub.
“A little overboard, but yes”, agreed Jonny. He too had a massive grin on his face. I only gave them a shrug. Why not allowing them some fun.
“By the way, the blond idiot had a bounty of 55 million. This shows how a bounty isn't everything, so keep in mind to not underestimate someone with a low or even without a bounty”, I advised and both agreed with a loud yes sis Lara.
Sadly no one else was bothering us on our way back.
