Lara's POV;
This is definitely fun, I had jumped down from the wall after the destruction of the iceberg through an attack by Akainu. The flaming magma rain had fallen down over the attacking army of pirates and taken some causalities. But most evaded skilfully, before continuing their advance.
Standing atop the wall was boring and it looked as if the Marines had some trouble keeping the pirates off. Luck would have it that I landed directly in a fight between Momonga the Vice-Admiral and a group of four sword fighters.
“Slicer Lara, after our fight I would never have thought that we would stand together on a battlefield,” greeted Momonga. The four pirates looked at me warily and then decided that splitting would be the best idea.
One of them rushed at me from the front, while the other tried to flank me from the right. They reached me at the same time. The one from the front tried to slice me in half from the top to the bottom, while the other pierced with his sword forward, intent on skewering me on it.
I blocked the cut from the top with my left dagger and deflected the pierce with my right one. Their Armament Haki enhanced swords gave little resistance to my supercharged vibration powers and began to break down through simple contact. It helped that the weapons were only of good quality, but nothing special.
Momonga had cut his foes down equally quick and was already rushing forward, alongside another Vice-Admiral that had transformed into a human-dog hybrid.
Suddenly a loud voice managed to shout over the noise of the battle. Almost everyone paused to look. Out in the water was a massive monster, Oars Junior had arrived. He was as big as a mountain and shouted stuff about saving Ace.
The idiot does not realize that bigger only means a larger target. He nonetheless grabbed a super-sized warship and hurled it at the charging squad of Marine giants. It took five giants to stop the ship, but the bay was breached and the quay wall had a ship-sized hole.
The allied pirates of Whitebeard rushed at the new entranced and flooded the plaza behind with a rush of bullets, blades and devil fruit attacks. There were so many different fruits at work it was fascinating to watch.
Zoan user were mauling each other with claws and teeth. Paramecia user used their often times strange powers to kill with strange attacks and there were even Logia user in the mix who did wide area attacks with their elements.
One such Logia user was flying at me through an invisible force, people all around him were falling down, unable to breathe. He reached me and laughed, but then had to deflect my dagger. “How are you still standing?” He demanded to know.
I didn't answer and began to spin. I sent off a force blade with each dagger and kept the attack going, which produced a continued force blade that would fly off of me. Pirates and Marines alike got cut into pieces from my attack, some tried to parry the force blade, only then to notice that their sword or whatever they used to parry with, got shredded as well. The Logia user tried to get out of the attack but got cut as well. He got flung backwards and away from the front.
I increased the speed of my spin again, before sending the attack off towards the bay. The force blades kept spinning and were now forming a small tornado that mowed down everything in its path. It picked pirates and Marines off from the ground and the still present vibrations began to grind them into a fine paste. My blade tornado changed its bluish colour into red but was then destroyed by a shock wave.
Kuma had fired one of his pressure attacks at Oars and wounded him severely. He staggered and was then fired in the face by one of the bigger cannons. His right eye was gone from the explosion, but he still continued. He rose his massive sword and brought it down on the wall with the Warlords on top.
The wall got destroyed, but he did not even come close to killing a single Warlord. Hancock had already jumped off before Oars was close and the rest simply evaded the slow swing. Doflamingo used his strings to fly over him.
I found the anchor point of his string and broke it. His flight was interrupted and he started to fall. Yet, he realized quickly what happened and re-anchored himself, before looking as if he failed. I snapped that point as well, and the next.
He still managed to land without face-planting, but his descend looked more wobbly than elegant and he also did not have the time to cut Oars leg off. The Whitebeard pirates had seen his strange flight and were commenting on it. It angered him and he proceeded with cutting everyone around him into tiny ribbons. An angry snarl plastered on his face. I grinned at him when he looked over at me. The glare turned almost hateful when he realized that I was the reason for his funny flight.
Meanwhile, Oars took a further step forward to Ace, he had now crossed the wall that divided the plaza from the harbour. But that was the farthest he would manage. The shadowy bats of Moria had gathered into a shadow spear and pierced through Oars chest. The massive monster gurgled one last “Ace-kun” before his body became still.
I turned back to the fighting and had to promptly duck under an incoming flying dead giant. The head of the giant was crushed, curtsey of Whitebeard's power. More pirates attacked, they were aiming for the breach that Oars had caused.
A dozen pirates were also coming at me. I clapped my hands at them and caused a wave of vibrations. The wave travelled through the air, disintegrated a few ice pebbles and then hit them with a force that lifted them off of the ground, rattled their weapons and shredded their organs, before the water inside them got cooked from the excess energy.

Then I had to duck under the sword swing of a Marine. My observation told me that he did not want to do this and his body was jerking around without his mind behind the movements. A side glance showed me a smirking Doflamingo, so I cut the strings that were connected to the man and jumped at the real attacker.
The pink feather coat wearing Warlord stopped my dagger slice with a bunch of strings. “Fufufufu, something the matter Slicer?” He joked, but then needed to reinforce his block with more and more strings. As I was cutting through his strings with the vibrations of my dagger. A chainsaw like sound came from my blade.
“I'm just on a peacock hunt, don't mind me,” I answered and pierced my other dagger at his eye. It got caught in dozens of strings, who got instantly shredded. He then tried to not catch my blade, but my hand. It worked for a moment, long enough for him to jump back, but then those strings caught fire from the intense vibrations and burned off.
I produced a force blade and sent it off at Doflamingo, he in return grabbed a nearby pirate with his strings and flung him in the way. My attack cut into the pirate as if a chainsaw ripped into him. Pieces and shreds of organs rained down on the surrounding fighting Marines and pirates. But there was already so much blood, corpses and body parts that it did not matter.
I sheathed my daggers and pulled Lunare from her sheath on my back. The longer sword had more strength. It was just in time because a rather large pirate with dual wielding blades was flung at me. His joints all held a connection to Doflamingo.
The Warlord was laughing maniacally.
I ducked under the first wide swing and then cut upwards with Lunare. The vibrating blade sliced through muscles and bone with ease and separated the left arm from the pirate's body. He howled in agony, but his body moved as if he had not just now lost an arm.
The right blade crashed into my block and cut itself in half upon contact. I pushed my blade forward and cut off his other arm as well. Doflamingo flung the body at me, now that it was useless for anything else. A simple upwards swing cut the pirate in two. His halves crashed into pirates that tried to attack me from behind.
“Come on Slicer, come on, that can't be everything!” Shouted Doflamingo while throwing spear formed cables of his strings at me. I sidestepped one, then used Kami-e to evade a second and used a piercing force blade to get enough time for a Soru that brought me close enough to Doflamingo to swing my sword into his side.
Armament coated strings jumped into the way of my Armament coated sword. His Haki had a brief match with mine but then lost out to the vibration enhanced cutting power of a master class sword. He used more strings and coated his own body in a hard Armament armour. In the end, my cut was not strong enough to get through his thick robe formed strings.
So instead I jumped and kicked him in the face. That was the first attack I did with an Armament coating on my body. The others were all only on the sword or not enhanced. Seriously, I had expected more of Doflamingo. Sure, strings are rather easy to cut, but this was too easy.
Doflamingo caught himself in a net of strings and then catapulted his body at me. He formed a spear for thick strings around his hand and was flying at me with an increasing speed. “A new pirate baby like you should stop trying to play with the adults!” He shouted while coating his arm in a crackling form of Armament. Must be his Conqueror Haki.
I coated my arms in the advanced Armament form and used a Soru to meet him. The tip of my blade collided with the tip of his string spear. Pirates and Marines alike got blasted away by the force of our collusion.
From somewhere I heard a Marine pleading for us to not fight ourselves, but the Whitebeard pirates, he too got lifted off by the shock wave and collided with the stone wall head first.
The spear of Doflamingo got shredded while it tried to reform with new strings. “Now die Slicer!” Shouted Doflamingo suddenly. New strings began to form from the ice we were fighting on. He had activated the awakened form of his fruit and was now using his surroundings to power his form.
“As if,” I snarled back and activated the closest thing I had come to my own awakening. Doflamingo instantly noticed that something was wrong and propelled himself backwards. But it was too late.
Everything around me disintegrated, his strings ceased to exist, the dead Marines and pirates around us turned into their base molecules. The molecules in the air couldn't hold themselves together and got separated into their building blocks.
I had generated a zone of such a high vibrating frequency that nothing could hold itself together. Only the base atoms were left. This technique had the drawback that it left me without air to breath, but my mask had an inbuilt dial for fresh air.
Doflamingo was staring at me in shock, the hand he used for his spear attack was no more. It did not manage to get out of the radius of my attack fast enough and got eradicated. His stump was already patched over with strings, but the hand itself was gone.
He waved his other arm and a literal flood of strings crashed at me. From all sides, they came and tried to crush me in a tsunami of sharp strings. But not even a single one of them managed to breach the invisible barrier that separated the world from the nothingness around me.
I rushed out of his attack with a Soru, while he tried to jump back and keep away from me. Pirates, Marines, ice, stones, attacks, everything in my way simply ceased to exist. Doflamingo tried to throw people in my way, hoping that their Haki could stand up to whatever I was doing.
Those who had no skill simply broke down before they could even penetrate my barrier further than a millimetre. Those with skill maybe managed to get a few centimetres inside before their Haki enhanced skin got shredded, followed by the rest of their bodies.
The dome around me was three meters wide. You'll need someone on the level of Mrs Chicken Wing to even have the chance of attacking me. This is an attack that even she wouldn't survive if she was too close.
A stray light attack of Kizaru came into my dome, the laser warbled, began to twist and bent, before it got sent out of the dome with a completely new direction. Seems as if this attack is not able to completely stop Kizaru, but at least he won't be able to hit me with his regular attacks.
Suddenly, something breached my barrier and landed right in front of me without being disintegrated. I stopped and looked with astonishment at Luffy. His whole body was shaking and vibrating, but not getting destroyed. I knew that some forms of rubber were highly resistant to vibrations but that he would be able to overcome this is interesting. Must be the strangeness of Devil Fruits.
He sat up and promptly began to clutch his throat. Just because he could survive my field does not mean that he could breathe nothing. I looked up but saw that Doflamingo had used the disruption to flee. Finding him inside this chaos was almost impossible.
With a sigh, I stopped my dome and air rushed back inside. The air came with a plop sound and was by followed the noise of the war. “Luffy, what are you doing here?” I asked, only mildly irritated. Doflamingo was on my to kill list, but not at the top or over the war itself.
