Elsewhere in the Dark Continent two major forces were making a move. In the dark hallway of an unknown location. A being with bright red eyes that shone through the darkness looked at three figures kneeling in front of him. These pair of blood thirsty eyes would send any experts shivering.
“The sacred cave hasn’t glowed or reacted in any way since three days ago?” The one standing in front of a throne spoke coldly. It seems as if his voice is devoid of all feelings.
“Blood Lord Sauran, our informant from the Hades Sect is sure of this. The vice head of the Shinigami Sect was visiting and happened to catch wind of this as well. They have temporary formed an alliance. A dozen Saint Level experts have been dispatched from each sect.” One of the figures on the ground reported. This person had red eyes as well, not as overbearing as the one who stood over him though.
“This must be related to that traitor from the Undead Clan a million years ago! He must have figured out the secret within the sacred rock after stealing it from the Hades Sect! Send a few of our men to search for other sacred caves. Since the Hades Sect and Shinigami Sect are on the move, it won’t be long before the rest of the dark powers learns of this.” The Blood Lord said coldly.
“As the Blood Lord commands!” Three hooded figures said respectively and in a blink of an eye, they disappeared.
“Zenos, how long are you going to hide there?” The Blood Lord said plainly, the previous coldness in his voice is gone. A youth in his twenties jumped out behind a pillar childishly.
“Father, what’s so special about some cave lighting up?” Zenos asked curiously as he ran beside his father.
“These caves are millions of years old. There are secrets within them that those with real powers seek.” The Blood Lord answered simply.
“Come on, let me in on the secret!" Zenos begged with puppy eyes. Obviously he was used to getting away with things with the lord.
“In our continent, there are six major sects, six organizations and six clans that rule over all. However, there are only two sacred caves on the continent and the two strongest sects control them. They are the Satan Sect and the Hades Sect. The writings within these caves, no domes more accurately, are so ancient that even the oldest of us who have lived for nearly a hundred million years can’t recognize them. These sacred domes are also indestructible, I’ve personally tried myself, and contain an endless supply of mystic energy. Inside each dome is a floating rock that can’t be budged. Around a million years ago, a prodigy emerged from the Undying Clan. His name was Wueno, his methods were unusual but effective. When he was visiting the Hades Sect one day, he killed an elder and raided their treasury. The shocking thing is that the unmovable floating rock inside the sacred cave had also been stolen. This has led many to believe that the rumored infinite energies from the sacred caves could be tamed. However, no one has found the whereabouts of Wueno after the incident.” The Blood Lord Sauran explained patiently to his son.
“So you are sending people to look at the status of the other caves? Let me join!” Zenos exclaimed, his eyes shone like a boy with a new toy.
“These sacred caves are all guarded by powerful forces. In fact it is theorized that each continent has two of these caves but only a few have been revealed so far.” The Blood Lord informed his son with a frown.
“Please father, send me to a weaker continent then. The weakest one! I’ll take a Saint Level body guard too. You always say I need some life experience. I’m thirty thousand years old and I reached level 80 already.” Zenos pleaded.
“Do you have no shame, your talent could barely be considered average. The only reason you progressed so far is using our Blood Clan’s resources. If you had half the talent of your sisters, you would have achieved your first Rebirth already!” Sauran said with a laugh. “Ask Riza if she has time to accompany you to the weakest continent, the Heaven Continent. You can only go if she goes.”
“But fatherrrr, sister is always so cold. She’s only ten thousand years older than me but she never wants to play.” Zenos whined like a spoiled kid.
“No buts.” Sauran said firmly as he got up to leave. Zenos knows when to back off, getting permission to leave the clan and visit another continent was enough for him. It’s extremely rare for him to venture out of the Dark Continent.
Inside a prestigious palace room, a few continents away from the Dark Continent, a calm and scholarly man with a simplistic crown sat on the throne. Two elderly man in white robes sat beside him. In front of them was a warrior in bright golden armor. He gave off the aura of bravery and justice, his dominating figure makes him look like a war god from portraits.
“There hasn’t been any activities since then general Yi’Yan?” The man in the crown asked. If Ryu was here he would instantly recognize this person. He was Cu-Pi-Ex! Prince Na’Vi’s older brother that betrayed his kingdom and killed his own father! He almost succeeded in killing Na’Vi as well.
“Your majesty. The sacred cave shined for half a day and stopped. It’s as if nothing ever happened, my trusted subordinate saw this personally.” General Yi’Yan said courteously.
“You may go now. Please let me know if anything else comes up.” Cu-Pi-Ex said graciously. A warm smile was on his face. The general bowed and left. The moment the he left the room, Cu-Pi-Ex cursed. His face twisted into an ugly expression as if he’s a completely different man from a few seconds ago.
“This must be related to that damn brother of mine. How is it possible that he survived the poison from the Celestial beast, the Crimson King Toad?” Cu-Pi-Ex yelled at one of the elders by his side.
“I am not sure my lord.” One of the elders said with a tremble. He was obviously afraid of the king and he had every right to be. A palm strike flew out of Cu-Pi-Ex and landed right on his chest. The elder flew across the room and coughed up mouthfuls of blood.
“Thank you for being merciful your highness.” The injured elder said between coughs.
“My dear brother… are you alive after all? Even after so many years… hahaha this just great, I’ll have a chance to kill you once and for all.” Cu-Pi-Ex screamed out like a madman. If it wasn’t for the restrictive protection spells in the throne room, half of the Sky Continent’s capital would have heard his insane cry.
“Elder Zan, my brother had allies in Britannica and the Frozen Continent. Send word to General Fin’Lei, have him dispatch some men to monitor the situation. Don’t let Yi’Yan get wind of this, it’ll be trouble if that naïve general finds out Na’Vi is still alive.” Cu-Pi-Ex screeched out, his anger was reaching a boiling point. Actually a lot of people within the kingdom had questioned Cu-Pi-Ex’s version of the events regarding assassination of the previous king by Prince Na’Vi. Due to the lack of witnesses and that fact that one of the three national treasures along with the heirloom Key of Babylon is missing, they had no choice but to accept it. However there are still many powerful and influential people in the kingdom that secretly support Na’Vi and despise Cu-Pi-Ex’s tyrannical rule.

“The Frozen Continent has weakened tremendously since the last two Great Wars but Britannica has always been acknowledged as one of the top two continents since the beginning of time! As long as the Great Sorcerer Merlin exists, everything we do on that continent will be noticed by him.” Elder Zan said with fear. He didn’t dare mention that since the death of the last king and the loss of the second prince, the Sky Continent’s prestige has dropped greatly. The whole world views them as an average continent now. Offending Britannica is not something they could afford at the moment.
“Silence! Do you think I’m a fool?” Cu-Pi-Ex shrieked out menacingly. “Send High Priest Ji’Van over as a pretext.”
“Yes sir.” Elder Zan replied quickly and left. He did not want to get hit today.
Back in the Inferno Fist School, Seo-Yon and Sheng were discussing the affairs regarding his brother. It has been two months since Ryu had left.
“The pictures on the wanted posters does depict him along with a few others I don’t recognize. I don’t understand why he would do such a thing though.” Sheng said with a long sigh.
“Perhaps they got the wrong guy.” Seo-Yon tried to reassure Sheng. Although the brothers has been apart for decades, he can’t help but be worried nonetheless.
Crash! A person was thrown through the window beside them. He bounced off a table and crashed into a wooden drawer.
“What?” The pair of elders yelled out in surprised.
A hooded figure floated in through the broken window, the moment he passed it the broken shards of glass fixed itself.
“Ryu? What are you doing here?” His grandpa said in shock as he recognized his own grandson.
“Who is this person?” Seo-Yon asked as she peered closer at the unconscious body.
“HI grandpa, grandma. I’m not too sure, I found him hiding outside the premise of the school.” Ryu said as he landed. He smiled at the shocked pair. “Give me a minute and I’ll find out.”
Ryu focused his gaze on the body and activated Loser’s Concession. Since he defeated his opponent, he can bind them to an agreement and have them under his control.
“My name is Jio-Wanda. I’m a soldier of the Eastern Army, section 12. My orders are to keep tabs on the victims of the Wang Family. The patriarch of the Wang family was mysteriously murdered and my general believes somehow the victims played a role in this. From my observation, the Inferno Fist School is a bit suspicious, the cultivation levels of the only teacher is too fast after the incident.” The unconscious person spoke in a daze.
“This is…” Sheng said with worry. Obviously he was concerned that Ryu’s secret might be leaked out.
“Don’t worry grandpa. I’ll take care of this.” Ryu said as he implemented restrictions on the solider. He is to report that nothing out of the ordinary. Digging a little deeper he found out that this soldier is working for general Hen-Dri and that his methods are a bit shady. This general wasn’t as worried about the death of Wang’s patriarch as much as the treasures that were missing. Ryu frowned to himself, is the Lin Empire that corrupted?
Ryu explained to his grandpa what he had done and told him not to worry. His grandpa was obviously annoyed that Ryu came back just to help them out. Ryu reassured them that this isn’t the case. This was actually a clone! One of his new specializations, Divide and Conquer. His main body is actually heading towards the Yasha Province. Ryu also promised to enchant their clothes from now, it’ll help them lower their cultivation to avoid future suspicions.
Obviously the two were confused. The concept of specializations were beyond them at the moment. Ryu patiently explained to them but they still couldn’t believe it. However, this clone spends a good portion of Ryu’s Qi so it’s going to hide in the basement and just monitor the situation.
Why was Ryu going to the Yasha Province when he was returning to the Lin Province after the encounter with Na’Vi and the bandits a few weeks ago? A large group of cultivators was surreptitiously traveling across the mountain ranges close to where he was walking, heading towards the Yasha Province. They all looked like seasoned warriors and they even had a banner of with the words “Sword Storm Valley” on it. After stalking them from a safe distance, Ryu noticed that there were other groups a few kilometers away from them. Normally Ryu can’t sense distances this far but with the shaman’s art of assimilating with nature, he had other ways of detecting.
More unknown experts actually scanned the area as they flew over Ryu’s area. It seems that they are just doing routine scouting of the groups. This piqued Ryu’s interest, he knows that within the Lin Empire there isn’t that many experts in the Heaven and King Domains yet there’s quite a few in these groups.
Ryu wasn’t in a rush cultivate or anything so he decided to investigate a bit by following this Sword Storm Valley Sect. After reaching King Domain, his cultivation rate is actually now slower than the average person’s if he were to just do gather Qi from the environment. The tree-like objects in his second, third and fourth reservoirs are now absorbing nearly 90% of the incoming Qi.
Ryu quickly recalled the map of the Yasha Province and realized that they were all heading towards one of the danger zones that even Alexis avoids, the Thousand Swords Graveyard! This location was relatively close to the border between the Lin and Yasha Province but the amazing thing is that its size was bigger than any capitals on Heaven Continent.
Using the specialization established through the Mind Tome, Telepathy, thoughts from various members of the Wind Valley Sect entered his head. If it was any other regular person, their mind would have been thrown into chaos. Luckily Ryu had three Infinity Tomes to increase his mental capacity.
The general thought was that this is some sort of assembly for the whole continent! The greatest swordsman on the Heaven Continent is also the greatest blacksmith. He has produced another masterpiece after three hundred thousand years and is putting it up as a prize!
