Back to the leaf village: A few minutes earlier.

Hanabi is now my my arms, safe and sound, she held me like a Koala, who didn’t want to let go of her mother.

I teleported to one of the many seals I set up in the leaf village, we made it there in no time. Before I forget, I added a teleportation seal and tracking seal on Hanabi. Incase if something like that ever happens again.

Hanabi was quiet, today wasn’t a pleasant experience for a little girl like her, If anything, it was terrifying.

I saw both Hina and Hiashi were gathering up members of their clan to have a full-scale investigation to find Hanabi. No other people volunteered, as they all had problems of their own.

I have never seen them in this state before. Hina was biting her nails so much at the thought of who or what would have taken Hanabi.

HIashi tried to remain composed in front of his clan, but his mind was everywhere. This was all too familiar. The exact same thing happened with Hinata, and then his brother sacrificed himself so that Konoha doesn’t go to war with Kumo.

Although they don’t have any proof that it was Kumo who did it this time, who else could it be.

Hiashi wasn’t ready to sacrifice another sibling, or a daughter.

“Um! Sir, Look?” (Yu) pointed behind Hiashi.

Hiashi and Hina turned to see me carrying Hanabi in my arms.

“Hanabi!” (Hina and HIashi) cried out.

“Aunt, Father!” (Hanabi) Upon hearing their cries, Hanabi let go of my embrace and ran straight to her family.

They all hugged each other like a loving family.

Hinata wasn’t here as she was also looking for whereabouts of her sister. She still doesn’t know that Hanabi is here and that she is fine and well.

At this time, the memories of my clone rushed into my mind.

After my fight with the alien, I have decided to leave this village and move to a safer location. It was because of Orochimaru’s seal that kept the alien outside. If he were to break inside the leaf village, the number of casualties would be unknown.

Maybe the Akatsuki might have a way for me to get stronger. And I also need to be in two places at once. I can’t use my shadow clones since they disappear in a single hit, so right now my best bet is using a blood puppet.

I have some ideas on how I can use it to its full potential.

First goal: Find a secure place.

Second goal: Find out anything in the Akatsuki for ways to get stronger, even for my friends.

I don’t have a lot of time, so I need to accomplish my mission as quick as possible.

I was about to leave to find Kat and Luna, until I felt someone pull my hand.

I was now in the middle of the family hug.

“You’re a part of this family now.” (Hina) said as she hugged me along with the others.

Being in the embrace of Hina, Hiashi, and Hanabi, it felt like I was back with my family. I didn’t struggle, and just put my hands around Hina and Hanabi. It felt nice. It’s been a long time since I was in a family hug.

Hina has already considered me as her own son, and the fact that I have done much for them, it just made their opinion of me grow.

After a while, we broke our hug and told them about the ninjas who kidnapped Hanabi.

Hiashi already knew that it would have been them, and it pissed him off. It was one thing to kidnap his oldest daughter, but to kidnap his younger daughter as well.

Even if they have to go to war with Kumogakure, he will show them what hell really is. Hina felt the same way. Her brother died because of them, and now they were repeating the same thing again.

Hinata came after a while, and everything was okay, for now. Isabella was nowhere to be seen, probably has yet to realize that Hanabi is back.

I left shortly after to find Kat and Luna.

Upon arriving at the hospital, I found Haku playing cards with Naruto and the others. Looks like they are already good friends.

“Sensei!” (Naruto) smiled then waved his hand at me.

“Uno!” (Haku) said as he put down a red 4.

“Agh!” (Naruto) tried to find a way to give Haku more cards. The same thing goes for Kat and Luna, nobody wants to lose a round in Uno.

“Kat, Luna. Can I talk to you for a second?" (Chris)

Both Kat and Luna stare at each other confused. What did Chris want with them?

“Go ahead! I can beat Haku all by myself!” (Naruto) Puts down a red 7.

“I win!” (Haku) declared as he put down a blue 7.

“WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF THAT HAPPENING?!” (Naruto) was frustrated that Haku won because of the number 7.

If this was monopoly, I wouldn’t be surprised if a small scale battle were to happen.

I smiled a bit, then led Kat and Luna to the hallway.

“Is something wrong?” (Kat) said. It’s not that common for Chris to call them both.

“No. I just want to show you this.” (Chris) I said as I took out a red ring. It’s the same one that Luna used to wear.

Luna and Kat saw it, and a hint of shock could be seen on their faces. They had spent so much time to find Luna’s ring, but came out empty handed. They made a mess of that restaurant that the owner had to shut down. Poor guy!

“I believe this belongs to you, Luna.” (Chris) I said as I handed her the ring. I literally forgot to give her this ring for an entire month.

Luna took the ring from my hand, then inserted it in her finger. She felt her strength go up by a lot. She felt relieved that Chris found it. Now her worries for this ring are gone, she just liked it so much.

“You found it!” (Kat)

“Yup… but there is something else that I need to tell you both?” (Chris) I said.

“What is it?” (Kat, Luna) said at the same time.

“I did not defeat the alien, he was way too strong.” (Chris)

Nobody knows that I fought the alien, they saw the alien tried to break into the village, but they didn’t see who fought it as they were all too busy at the time.

Only Kat, Naruto, Luna, Sasuke, Haku and Isabella knows that I fought it, but lost the fight.

Hearing this, both girls were shocked. There is someone who is stronger than Chris? Just what kind of freaks are there in this world? Is what they thought.

“That is why I am gonna need to become stronger, and you two as well.” (Chris)

“I don’t get what you’re saying?” (Kat)

“What I am saying, is that this place isn’t safe for any of us. It’s possible there are more of those aliens, and they are all as strong as him.” (Chris)

I took out another red ring.

“This ring isn’t normal as you two already know. It can make one stronger just by wearing it, with no side effects of any kind.” (Chris)

“How many do you have?” (Kat) If she could have that ring, then she could raise her power to greater heights.

“5. But there are requirements for one to wear them.” (Chris)

“Such as?” (Luna)

“It only works on the opposite sex, so girls only. The second requirement is a bit… Well lets just say that it’s a relationship kind of thing.” (Chris)

“Can you explain it more clearly?” (Kat) She didn’t understood what I just said.

“I can’t say it in simple words, but to sum it up, both the wearers of the red rings, need to have some type of affection for me, and I need to have some affection for them.” (Chris)

“You mean that… We need to like you for it to work?” (Kat) said a bit confused. It sounds stupid and weird, who would ever believe that.

“It’s true. For example me and Luna are going out, so it’s natural for her and my powers to raise quite a bit. And do you remember when Sakura wore the ring, then it disappeared shortly after.” (Chris)

“M-hm!” (Kat, Luna) Both girls nodded.

“That wasn’t because Sakura lost it, it was because I didn’t have any sort of affection for her, then the ring returned to me.” (Chris)

“That seems stupid! Who gave you these rings?" (Kat) wanted to know so she could pummell this guy.

*Whistle* (๑´3｀๑)

“The guy is a genius.” (Chris) Blue screens are usually geniuses... not this one though.

“So… who do you plan to give the remaining 4 to? (Kat)

Luna also had her ears perked.

“Luna already has one, and I plan to give another one to you, Kat.” (Chris)

“Me?! But I don’t see you that way, and I am sure that you don’t see me that way either.” (Kat) Blushed a bit. She thinks that I don’t like her, that’s why she hasn't made a move on me, and also because she was afraid that it could break apart the relationship she has with Luna.

“That's what I need to talk to Luna about as well. Luna.” (Chris)

“Hm!” (Luna) said. Not knowing what I was about to ask her.

“I need your permission, I cannot accomplish this alone, and I need all the help I can get. Do you mind if… Kat and I are in a…-” (Chris)

I hesitated to say it first, because I found it hard to say it. Even though I have said I wanted a harem, I never actually meant it and thought little about it. If I did wanted a harem, I would have said yes to TenTen when she confessed, and I would given this ring to her and Kat a while back.

But I didn't want to risk losing this relationship with Luna, she is now someone important in my life. And I need her permission for this.

Before I could say something, Luna interrupted me.

“Stop! I know what you're gonna say, and… I don't agree.” (Luna)

I could see a bit of tears falling down from her eyes.

“Luna I-” (Chris) I expected her to say yes, but before I could say anything, she interrupted me.

“Is that what we are to you, just a bunch of girls who are nothing but cannon fodder to you. Is that why you wanted me in a relationship, so that you could increase your strength as well!” (Luna) bellowed at me.

With each word, her volume increases.

“That's not true Luna, I-” (Chris)

“I don't care! If that's what you want then go ahead and do it, and while you're on it, add TenTen and Hinata as well, but don't think so little of me. HERE!” (Luna)

Luna handed me her ring. She clearly despised the idea of being used like that.

She ran as quickly as she could, with tears running down her face. Her face was red at just how angry she was with me.

“I actually agree with her as well.” (Kat) said with no hint of emotion in her words.

“What have I done.” (Chris) I knew I shouldn't have done that.

“Don't think of us girls as something that you can pick up on the streets. We have morals as well and dignity. Imagine how you would feel if Luna told you that she wanted to be in a relationship with another man, how would you feel?” (Kat)

“Oh shit!” (Chris) I would feel like she doesn't love me as I thought, is that what she felt about me.

“‘Oh shit’ is the right answer. I can understand that this is for raising our strength, but breaking a girls heart is never the answer, Chris. can I tell you a little secret?" (Kat)

“Hm.” (Chris)

“I do like you as well, but I refrained myself from telling you because I cared enough for Luna to not hurt her. I even had the idea of sharing you with her, but never said anything else. It looks like you don't care about her as much as I thought.” (Kat)

Every word of her is like a stab to my heart. I am the worst.

“I enjoy watching how you two progressed in your relationship, and I don't want to see that gone. So please Chris, as friends, do not let her go at all costs. Do whatever it takes to make her feel happy, and loved, and never make her fell less.” (Kat)

She's right.

“Thank you Kat. And if I say or do anything that will hurt her or you, please punch me so it can disappear from my system.” (Chris)

“With pleasure. Now go get her.” (Kat)

I walked slowly to Luna's location. I have a tracking seal on her, so I know where she is.

I need to fix this, blood puppet or not, she is more important to me than anyone else.

As Kat watched my figure going further and further away, she couldn't help but sigh a bit to herself.

“Thank you, Chris. I was wondering if you liked me, it could have been TenTen or even Hinata, or anyone else, but you chose me. Thank you.” (Kat) wiped a bit of her tears with her sleeve.

‘I wonder, how it would have gone if it was just you and me…’ Kat thought to herself.

At the waterfall.

Luna stared at the water as her tears dropped on it and joined the water.

She would go to this place as it would sooth her feelings whenever she thought about her parents.

But now, it seems that she is gonna come here every time she thinks of Chris.

She felt my presence, she didn't react to it at all and said.

“Leave me. I don't want to see you again.” (Luna) said.

“I want to say something to you.” (Chris)

“I think you already said enough.” (Luna) she didn't want to hear me at all.

“Kat was right, I didn't think about how this would hurt you. I only looked at it at my side, and wanted to get stronger, even if it meant dating other girls.” (Chris)

“I already know that…” (Luna)

“I know that there is no way for you to forgive me, even I find it hard to forgive myself.” (Chris)

“You don't understand.” (Luna) got up, then looked at me with moistened eyes.

“What?” (Chris!

“I am worried about what might happen after. When you give out those rings to girls you like, then you won't like me anymore. When this fight for the aliens is finished, then you will come home with even more girls by your side.

And I know I sound selfish, but I don't want to see that happen! I just want you and me to be together and that's it.

Kat told me that this might happen, back at the second round of the Chuunin exam. I gave it so much thought about it, but can’t find myself at peace knowing that I won't be your special girl, that I would only be one of the 5 girls who you like.

When you supported the idea, I couldn't believe you at all. How am I supposed to be at peace, when I know that you will date other girls for power. I don't want to see that, and I don’t want to be a part of that” (Luna)

After each sentence. her words become louder and angrier.

She has put a lot of thought about this. Even I didn't think that far ahead.

What were to happen if I were to smash those rings to pieces.

“Luna. I don't know if you will forgive me, but if you do, I will turn over to a new leaf.” (Chris)

Then using an earth jutsu, I summoned a stone in front of me.

“What do you mean?” (Luna) she had no idea what I meant.

Then I placed four red rings on the stone. Then I made a sledgehammer, and got ready for some smashing.

*Smash* *Smash* *Smash* *Smash*

All four rings are gone in an instant. The only one remaining was the one that Luna gave me.

Watching me break those rings as if they were nothing, Luna became stupefied.

Each of those rings are so precious, that it could start a war if people were to learn about it.

‘Just to prove that he's sorry, he's destroying them as if they were but a bunch of logs. But, what do I say?’ Luna thought.

A lot of emotions were going through her now. She just didn't know what to think of.

I took out the last ring, and placed in on the stone.

“Luna, not once have I ever thought about you that way. I always saw you as more than a friend, even more than just my girlfriend, I already see you as my family, the same goes for Naruto and everybody else.

But today, I found out that I truly am nothing but scum. I didn't consider your feelings, and for that I have lost you.

Once I smash this ring in front of me, then we shall cut our ties forever. So what do you say, Luna, do you forgive me? If you do, I will never do anything like that ever again.” (Chris) I looked at Luna.

Luna was hesitating to say anything at all. She just didn't know what to do.

“I thought so.” (Chris) since she didn't say anything, I thought it was because she still hated me.

I raise the sledgehammer up, then closed my eyes as my eyes started watering as well.

I used all my strength on this swing, then swung it as hard as I could.

While my sledgehammer was gonna smash the ring, I heard Luna yell out.

“Stop!” (Luna) yelled out quickly.

I couldn't stop as it was too late for me to stop in mid-air, but I did manage to tilt the sledgehammer a bit to the side.

*BOOM*

I struck that sledgehammer so hard, that dust covered the entire area.

Using an air jutsu, I cleared out the dust around us. And Luna could see me with her ring on my hand.

“Why would you destroy that ring when it is so important to you?” (Luna)

“Because it makes you sad, and I don’t wanna see that anymore. And this ring is never gonna be more important than you, nor is anyone or anything going to be more important than us.” (Chris)

Hearing this, Luna walks up to me slowly, then says.

“What about getting stronger, don't you want that.” (Luna)

“I'll find other ways. But you are my number one priority, my number one mission. Do you forgive me, Luna, for being an idiot?” (Chris)

Then Luna slowly wraps her hands around me, and lies her small head on my chest.

“You are my idiot, of course I forgive you. Just promise that you will never say anything like that again, if you do, then I'll never forgive you.” (Luna) said softly.

I wrap my hands around her waist, then said.

“I promise.” (Chris) Although it's gonna be tougher getting stronger, it's not worth it if I lost somebody I care for.

Losing somebody because you want power, is never the right answer.
