Today was the day when Sakura will be fighting Ino. She still has yet to fully master her strength, but it’s more than enough to defeat Ino. I am actually surprised that Sakura was able to master so much in a month.

The fight was in the same coliseum where Hinata fought her father a long time ago. But almost nobody was here, the fight is only between two weak girls, so they weren’t missing much.

Of course, Sakura’s friends and family came to support her, including myself.

Me and the rest were sitting on the sidelines, along with Ino’s family. They look like a nice family.

Luna has been really fond of Akamaru since the third round of the exams, so they kinda have gotten used to each others presence.

Kat didn’t bother coming here, she already knew the outcome of the fight, so why bother.

TenTen has yet to recognize Sakura as a good friend, but they’re not that far off. And yet, she still came here to cheer for her.

Naruto was here and he kept cheering for her at high spirits. He even offered to take all of us out for ramen, if Sakura won.

Hinata wanted to come, but her aunt Hina was strict when it came to training, so she couldn’t come.

Sasuke had yet to come back from Kakashi’s training.

And the rest either had some better things to do, or didn’t want to come.

Ino and Sakura were standing in the middle of the coliseum. The one who was refereeing this match, was Yugao. Where is the guy who coughs a lot? Maybe he’s dead or… something?

“I see that you’ve finally cut off your hair, did by any chance, a blind person did it to you.” (Ino) said mockingly.

“Shut up! Ino pig.” (Sakura) said.

“Why do you call me a pig, you’re the one who likes pigs, I mean your hair colour matches perfectly with a pig’s skin colour.” (Ino)

“Oooooohhhhhh. If this was an epic rap battle, then Sakura would have lost this round.” (Chris) I said.

Others kinda agreed, but were more focused on the match.

Sakura wouldn’t let Ino’s criticism bother her. She took a fighting stand, and was ready for Yugao’s countdown.

“Just go and get this over with.” (Yugao) started the match. She was the only one of the Anbu available for today, so she had to be a referee for a little match.

For some reason, the Anbu have been more busy and alert than usual, is it because the Chunin exams are about to start?

Ino and Sakura waited for the other one to start. Ino has not once practiced in this entire month, because she has a clear grasp of her and Sakura’s strength, they both had about the same equal amount of power.

What Ino doesn’t realize, is that Sakura is different from before. She has not once taken a break, apart from sleeping, eating and bathroom breaks. She used all the time to practicing.

Although Sakura knew that Ino was weaker than her, she still had that annoying ability that lets you take control over one’s mind and body.

Seeing as how none of them were moving, Sakura came up with a plan. As long as Ino’s attack doesn’t come in contact with hers, then she has a 100% chance of beating her.

“SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!” (Sakura) said as she summoned 5 shadow clones.

Ino, Ino’s family, Yugao and Naruto were all surprised that she learned that technique. Are kids these days so talented, that they can learn a high ranked jutsu in less than a month?! Is what they all thought.

Even Jonin ninjas have difficulty learning this technique, that’s why it’s considered a Jonin ranked technique.

Ino couldn’t think how Sakura learned such a technique, it’s very advanced, and only a few have ever learned it.

If it was Naruto she was fighting, then this technique wouldn’t surprise her. But this was Sakura, someone who is as strong as her.

Ino has only ever seen Naruto use this technique, so it surprised her that somebody else uses this technique. She once asked her father about this strange technique that Naruto once used, and he told her it was a high ranked technique. It surprised him as well that a ninja who isn’t even a Chunin, could learn such a technique.

After that, she knew that Naruto was definitely stronger than her, but not as much as Sasuke.

(Wow, how ignorant can she be.)

Sakura stood in the same place, not even moving an inch. She then commanded her shadow clones to beat her up, until she can no longer fight, or until she submits.

Ino was unaware of Sakura’s strength, so she took them head on.

Her father has also told her the weakness of this technique, is that the more shadow clones the user summons, the weaker they’ll be.

Considering that Sakura is as strong as her, and that these shadow clones were even weaker than their original body, then how can Ino back away like this. Even if there was 20 Sakura's, then she will be able to take them down easily.

“I’m gonna win this, and Sasuke will recognize meeeeeeee!” (Ino) yelled in an exaggerated manner, and charged to the nearest shadow clone.

Of course once she confronted the first shadow clone, she was met with a punch to the stomach

The strength from that punch alone made Ino kneel, and coughed up a bunch of saliva.

'How the hell did Sakura get that much strength? she wasn’t this strong a month ago!' Ino thought.

Ino could not believe this at all, more importantly, that was just a shadow clone, imagine the strength that the original Sakura wields.

Before long, Sakura’s shadow clones pummeled Ino until she finally gave up.

Before she gave up, Ino tried to sneak attack the real Sakura by using her clan’s technique.

But sadly, Sakura seemed like she was waiting for this move.

Ino thought that the one who hasn’t moved at all, was Sakura’s real body, but unfortunately for Ino, that was another shadow clone of Sakura’s.

Sakura knew that she would have no chance of beating Ino if her attack connected.

So, Sakura has to trick Ino, into thinking that the only one who hasn’t moved all this time, was her original body. And it worked like a charm.

Once Yugao saw the unconscious Ino, she announced that Sakura is the winner, and that she will be participating in the next round.

Sakura barely had to do anything, and yet she won against Ino so easily. This is the result of her training.

Naruto wanted to cheer, but he was kinda jealous at her. Naruto was the only Genin in the anime who has learned the shadow clone jutsu, and now other people knew about his technique.

To him, the shadow clone technique and the rasengan, were his signature moves, and yet, one of his favourite techniques were being used by more Genins.

But he got rid of these thoughts, and went to congratulate Sakura on her win. We all congratulated her as well.

Sakura felt great today, it felt like christmas came early this year. She walked towards me, and bowed.

“If it weren’t for you, then I would have probably lost this match. Thank you for all you have done for me this past month, Sensei!” (Sakura)

The gratitude she showed was from the bottom of her heart. She had mistreated Chris ever since he arrived to the leaf village, and yet, he never hold a grudge against her, and he even taught her to be a better person, and a better ninja.

This was the first time that she has ever called Chris ‘‘Sensei’’ This showed just how much she appreciated Chris. If it weren’t for him, and some coincidences along the way, then she would perhaps been weak her whole life.

I smiled a bit, I then petted her pink head and said.

“Don’t fret about it, Sakura. And besides, isn’t there someone here you should apologize to.” (Chris)

Sakura knew who I meant, then she slowly made her way towards Naruto and bowed to him as well.

“Naruto, I am so sorry for the way I treated you. I don’t have any excuses for what I have done to you, and I hope that you can forgive me, and hopefully, we can be friends.” (Sakura) said as she shed tears from sadness.

Over the past month, she had been pondering all those times she has mistreated Naruto. He never deserved that, nobody ever deserves to suffer like that. If she had seen it sooner, then she would have been very good friends with Naruto. Hopefully it’s not too late for an apology.

Naruto blinked a couple of times. Is this really the Sakura he knew? And he never really minded being treated like that, if he did mind, then he would have stopped bothering her a long time ago.

He then had that same old Naruto smile on his face, and he said.

“Of course I forgive you, only if you take us for ramen.” (Naruto) although he had stated that he was gonna take them out for ramen, he forgot that he left the money back in his room.

Sakura had an annoyed expression on her face. Was her apology only worth a cup of ramen? wasn’t he taken her apology too lightly and cheap?

“NARUTO! You idiot!” (Sakura) Maybe it was due to force of habit, but she punched Naruto of the face and send him launching several meters backwards.

‘Ow! Why does Sakura’s punch feel so much more painful than before, it hurts?’ Naruto thought as he laid there motionlessly

Yeah, this feels right.

Then we all left for some ramen to take a break, but all of us forgot about Naruto, we literally just left him alone.

It’s not our fault that we forgot, today it was Sakura’s day to shine. Then we all just chill till the next day. Not me, I just wanted to feed planty some assholes who were lurking around Konoha.

Although the people will know that some of these people were missing, they weren’t that important for somebody like the Hokage, to issue a thorough search around the village.

And even if they do report these people missing, they will never be truly missed. In Fact, the world would be much better of without them.

I also cleaned out the thugs so that they won’t cause trouble to us when Orochimaru attacks the village tomorrow. And besides, I wanted to see who it was that was emitting killing intent on Hanabi’s birthday.

Whoever this person was, he must have known about the Hyuuga guards coordinates, otherwise, he would have never been able to see me. But I don’t remember anyone who has a grudge against me.

It couldn’t be Orochimaru or any of the Akatsuki, they would never risk getting found out on a day like Hanabi’s birthday. That’s why they are waiting patiently for the 4th round of the exam.

DAY OF THE 4TH ROUND OF THE CHUNIN EXAM!

Time flies by so fast. After Planty has been ‘fed’ he is starting to get stronger. His height stopped increasing, but his strength is definitely stronger than before.

He’s even showing signs of intelligence. Before, he was like a mindless puppet, always following my orders no matter what. But now, he seems to move on his own and has made several attempts to communicate with me.

I couldn’t understand what he was saying, but he was trying. Maybe after eating a little bit, he might be able to fully communicate with me.

Sasuke had yet to arrive, so only eight of us stood in the middle of the coliseum.

Anko was once again the referee for this round. I feel like she’s pulling some strings from behind so that she can bother me.

I don’t think she likes me at all. The only thing that she would like to do to me, is to inject some type of drug that might… I dunno actually?

I went first, and I got number 8

“I forgot to mention, since there is an odd number of contestants today, whoever receives the number 9 will automatically advance to the next round.” (Anko) said.

Gaara was number 6

Sakura was number 3

Hinata number 2

Kat number 4

Shino was number 7

And Naruto was number 9

Sasuke had yet to arrive, so he was automatically number 5.

“This is how we’ll start the matches. 1# will fight 2#, 3# will face 4#, 5# will face 6#, 7# will face 8#. Lucky number 9 will move on to the next match.” (Anko)

So in other words, it was like this.

Luna vs Hinata.

Sakura vs Kat.

Sasuke vs Gaara.

Chris vs Shino.

Naruto complained that he was the only one who wouldn’t be having fun.

“As always, ladies first. Now for those who don’t have any business here, scram!” (Anko) said.

Except for Luna and Hinata, we all went to sit on the sidelines.

The whole coliseum was filled with hundreds of people cheering for this fight. One of the last Uchiha’s alive, vs a real Hyuuga prodigy.

“I bet that the Uchiha girl is gonna win!” (Bystander 1)

“Really?! You must be blind, surely the Hyuuga girl will win.” (Bystander 2)

Then the whole crowd when into a frenzy, they were even betting thousands of ryo.

This amount of money is little to me, but I was a bit intrigued to bet with all of them.

“Taking all bets! Taking all bets!” (Chris) I made a small hat appear, and I collected money from people around me.

“I’ll bet 5000 ryo for the Hyuuga girl!” (Bystander 3)

“3000 ryo for the Uchiha!” (Bystander 4)

And soon, I had no less than 40,000 ryo. It’s amazing how much people would bet.

“What about you guys, who do you think will win.” (Chris) I said to my friends and students.

They all looked at me confusedly, am I seriously betting on my girlfriend and my student on a fight? The answer is yes, and just because I always wanted to do this.

“Ooohhh, I want money, here’s my life savings on Hinata!” (Naruto) then deposited 500 ryo on my hat.

(Is that hat like magical? How can it fit that much money on it? I dunno, the author is weird and stupid.)

Seeing as how the carefree Naruto betted so easily, then everyone else did the same.

But there was one person whom I didn’t expect to see.

“I’ll bet 100,000 ryo on the Hyuuga girl.” (Tsunade) said out loud.

Then everyone’s attention was on her. Once they heard her bet for Hinata, they immediately changed to Luna winning this round.

They all knew about Tsunade’s reputation as the legendary sitting duck. So once they heard her about the Hyuuga girl winning, they all changed their bets.

Although I did sense Tsunade coming this way, I didn’t see her, so I had no idea it was her at all. I have never met Tsunade in person, so I never knew what her chakra felt like.

No wonder she’s a Sannin, she carries the aura of the Senju clan, and her chakra control is perfect.

But I do wonder, in a contest of pure strength, who is stronger me or her?

Once Tsunade made her bet, she sat beside us to make sure that I won’t run away with her money. She didn’t even greet us or anything.

She wasn’t here to protect us, she only came here because I made the bet.

Looks like she was unaware of the upcoming invasion, didn’t Jiraiya tell her anything? It makes sense, if she were to know that there was gonna be a bloodshed in here, then she would have never agreed to come.

Of course Tsunade was a kind hearted person, and once she realizes that a lot of people are in danger, she won’t hesitate to help guard the leaf village from danger.

The Hokage and the rest knew that today is the day when they will have to risk their lives for the leaf village.

The Hokage issued that all kids must be protected in a safe zone, Iruka and several other ninjas were in charge of them.

Although Koharu was not to be found anywhere, they didn’t have time to find her. They were being risked of being found out by Orochimaru, so it was best to play it safe.

(Nobody is gonna miss her.)

The Hokage made sure that he had all the guards of his to protect the leaf village, and he was on guard over the Kazekage.

Could he really be planning on betraying them. The scroll that Itachi gave them mentioned that the Kazekage was working with Orochimaru, but why?

Everyone knows that Orochimaru is a villian and is known for being a traitor. So why would someone like the Kazekage, work with someone like Orochimaru.

But regardless, he was gonna keep his guard up.

Jiraiya is secretly hiding somewhere around Konoha, waiting for the time when Orochimaru strikes.

Back to the fight.

Hinata and Luna stood in front of each other, and were eager to fight. They never really had the chance to fight. And now that the time is here, how could they not be happy about it.

“I am really gonna enjoy this, Hinata.” (Luna) Drew out a huge scythe that was as long as her. You can tell by the way that she is holding that scythe, that she is no amatuer.

“Same here, Luna. BYAKUGAN!” (Hinata) Activated her Byakugan eyes.

I can tell that Hinata’s prowess has soarin dramatically. What did Hina teach Hinata through this whole month? I never knew as Hina kept Hinata’s progress a secret.

“Begin!” (Anko) said. She might not look like it, but she was looking forward to this match.

Both girls charged at each other, and clashed on one another and created a mini explosion.
