All of the five Phoenixes surrounded me, it looked like I was in deep trouble. But I'm not. It's clear that all of these Phoenixes have a common weakness, and I am about to exploit that weakness.

“Do you regret doing a 1v5. If it were a 1-on-1 fight, then maybe you might a have stood a good chance, but you're not strong enough to face all of us.” (Marco) said to me.

“Maybe you're right, but may I ask you all something.” (Chris)

“Hm?” (Phoenixes) all of them said in unison.

“I'm just wondering, which one of you is the strongest around here. I mean, one of you will someday take your dad’s throne, and have the greatest power known to birdkind. But there are five of you, and only one of you will ever sit on the throne.” (Chris)

“...” (everyone) went silent.

They all knew what I was plotting. They knew that I am trying to get these Phoenixes to fight each other, but that will never happen. Why you may ask, because they're too smart to fall for this million year old trick.

“What kind of stupid question is that?! Of course it's gonna be me.” (Marco)

‘... you've got to be kidding me, he actually fell for that, maybe the others won't fall for it.’ Everyone thought in unison.

“Woah woah woah! What do you mean that you'll assume the throne, it's obviously gonna be me.” (Valor)

“You! Ha, you can't even beat me in a race, what makes you think that you can be me to the throne.” (Marco)

“Unlike you, I am not an expert in running away. So why don't you give up the throne, you couldn't even sit on it even in your dreams.” (Marco)

What these birds had a common weakness, was that they were far too competitive. But I truly didn't think it would work.

“Guys! Can't you see that this human is playing mind games with us, he's obviously trying to make us fight each other.” (Geo) tried to calm the situation.

“Shut up Geo! You can't even hope to achieve the throne, you're not fast or as strong as the rest of us, and besides. You're the weakest amongst all of us, you will never get Dad’s throne.” (Marco)

Those words were like a dagger that pierced through poor Geo’s heart. He was very sensitive when it was discussed that his skills were the weakest amongst his siblings.

“Geo’s right, we cannot fall for this human’s tricks.” (Hail) she also tried to soothe down this situation, but I made sure that she didn't accomplish it.

“I think that She has a bigger chance at getting that throne, than any of you do.” (Chris)

‘...That shameless bastard of a human’ is what everyone else thought of me.

“Explain yourself.” (Marco) said in an annoyed and angry tone.

“Think about it, she is the Phoenix king’s only daughter, so he must cherish her more than the rest of you. So maybe he might give her the throne.” (Chris)

The children of the Phoenix king had a blank expression of their face, they have honestly never thought of this before.

It's true that Hail is basically her daddy's little princess, but to actually give her the throne, was something that they have never thought of before.

The Phoenix king, however, had covered his face with his wing in shame. He had never met a shameless human like me in all of his lifetime. But he also had to admit, that his kids are too stupid to fall in a trap that I set up.

“Of course! I have never thought of this. Hail! I challenge you right here right now, winner gets the seat.” (Marco)

“Hey you trying to pick on my sister, you'll have to get through me first.” (Rogue) sided with his sister.

Rogue has always been humiliated that he couldn't fly, but his sister never has not once humiliated him. She was always nice to him. And now he has the chance to repay her for her kindness, by protecting her, even from his own brothers.

‘Great, this human….. maybe it was a mistake to have him participate in the tournament…’ the Phoenix king thought to himself.

While I enjoyed watching this hilarious and yet unexpected scene, I was already gone from the spot I was before, and in a different spot. I was currently on the air on top of the Phoenixes.

I really have to pat myself in the back. Thanks to my air walking jutsu that I created, I can show them a little of my awesome power.

I cupped my hands together on my hip, and channeled at least 10% of my chakra into this attack of mine.

“Rasen-kame!” (Chris)

“Holy son of a… that human can fly.” (?) one of the birds on the sidelines said and pointed at me with his feather.

“What do you mean?” (Geo) who was suffering from his aching heart, reacted to what one of the birds said right now.

“HAME!” (Chris) and now more and more chakra was accumulating in my hands.

At this time, all the Phoenixes reacted and looked up, and had a dumbfounded expression of their faces. They let their guard down when they were having their dispute, and they didn't think that I possessed the ability to fly, or even the huge amount of energy I was letting off.

This caused Rogue to almost make him go insane. Even though he's a bird, he can't fly at all, but now a human shows up and he's able to fly. Might as well stab him through the heart. He would rather die than to have his honour as a bird suffer like this.

“HAAA!!!” (Chris) I let out my Rasen-kamehameha to hit the Phoenixes. I decided not to use 50% of my power like last time, because it was so destructive, that I might kill every single bird on the sidelines.

Not only that, but I also have to keep In mind about my chakra pool. After my fight with Orochimaru, I learned that conserving your chakra is very crucial in a fight, even if I have an insane amount of chakra inside me.

The rasen-kamehameha reached the five Phoenixes, and then a huge amount of dirt and dust covered the platform. Unless one was a sensor type, they couldn't see anything inside the dirt cloud.

“Woah! I didn't know that humans were this strong!” (Al) couldn't help but say this to himself out of excitement.

Even Penny, who was quiet during this whole time, could not help but nod slightly at Al’s comment.

“Although that attack was very strong, it shouldn't be enough for my children to be fatally injured .” (Phoenix king) said to himself.

The dust cleared, and all five Phoenixes were fine, but they all had some bruises on them.

“Ima kill him!” (Marco) said very abrupt and changed at me at an insane speed.

“So it's an aerial battle he wants, then it's an aerial battle that he will get.” (Valor) also chased after me.

“I should go help as well.” (Hail) followed her brothers suit.

“...I give up. If a human can fly, then what's the point of me living anymore… I'll be on my room. Call me when pigs can fly as well.” (Rogue)

Rogue couldn't face the fact that a human can fly while he can't. His self esteem was hurt real badly, that he lost the will to fight in this tournament anymore, and probably never will fight again.

He then walked off the stage with a gloomy expression on his face, and he walked to the tallest room on the big tree, which is where his room was located

Oh sweet! 1 down 4 to go. I thought to myself.

I honestly couldn't believe that I accidentally managed to break a Phoenix’s mind and spirit.

‘ sigh’ maybe I really shouldn't have let this human participated in this fight. I just wanted to see my children’s progress with their skills. And now one of them will probably never want to come out of his room.’ Phoenix king thought to himself.

“Since you dare attack me, I'll return 10 times the power to you.” (Marco)

Marco was the fastest out of all his siblings, so naturally he reached me way before the others did.

He opened his mouth and an unbelievable amount of natural energy combined with lightning, gathered up on Marco’s beak.

A terrifying bolt of lightning shot to me, and hit me.

Before the lightning hit me, I got a weapon that I have been working on secretly. This weapon is very well known back on earth.

I deflected the lightning attack with my sword, and I was send back several meters because the force of the lightning is very powerful.

But I was okay, and my sword is fine too. Not even a dent on it. And since it was made out of metal, it actually held a lot of Marco’s natural lightning attack power on it.

“He actually deflected Marco’s lightning!” (Hail) said in shock. Marco’s attack might not be the strongest, but it was the fastest attack and no one other than her dad could stop it.

Not only that, but that sword is still intact, even after it took on Marco’s lightning attack. The lightning should be powerful enough to even melt metal.

“Behold! My greatest weapon. The master sword.” (Chris)

Yup that's right! I made an exact replica of the master sword from the legend of Zelda.

It is made out of reinforced diamond. It takes so long and so much concentration to make a diamond based weapon.

Making swords out of reinforced metal is easy, it only takes a second to make. But a diamond based sword takes days to make.

“Come at me! I'll beat every single one of you, and get the prizes.” (Chris)

I charged at them, and like a raging volcano, I yelled out of the top of my lungs.

“With Marco’s energy in this sword, I can make my move even stronger than before. TRUE END LIGHTNING BLADE!!!” (Chris)

I called it ‘true end lightning blade’ because this is a true lightning blade, not like Kakashi’s lighting on his arm. He's not even a master at fighting with blades.

Marco was arrogant enough to not dodge my attwck, so he took it head on. If I could take on his attack, then why couldn't he.

Our strengths clashed, and a huge explosion occurred. The sound of the explosion sounded like when lightning hits the ground, and the sound of thunder echoed far away out of the village.

Then the sky turned gray, and it rained heavily on the field. Although the rain didn't hit the platform because the bird king set up a huge energy shield that surrounded the whole field. It still rained on the sidelines. Al and everybody else was drenched.

They didn't want to leave this field at all. The battle is getting too intense. They would rather not miss a second of this amazing fight.

When the explosion occurred, Marco was sent back with even more bruised and scratch marks on his body.

I was also damaged on this attack, but was quickly healed thanks to my healing Kekkai Genkai.

“Damn human! No man could ever wield such a power, much less a kid.” (Marco) said in frustration.

“I am more than just an ordinary kid.” (Chris)

“I know.” (Marco)

Marco then zigzagged around me at an insane speed, he was like a blur to my eyes.

It's just like that time when I fought Lee. He was too fast for me so I had to resort to my time manipulating Kekkai Genkai.

I stopped time and everything was clear already. I could see Marco and he was defenseless.

I walked to his body and was ready to put all my strength into this attack. I hit him, then then time resumed, he was sent down to the platform.

Marco coughed up blood, and looked up to me in shock and confusion.

He didn't even see me make a move, so how did I manage to sneak up on him.

It looked like a disappeared on a flash, and reappeared in another location in a blink of an eye.

“I'm gonna end this.” (Chris) I once again cupped my hands together, and was ready to use another ramen-kamehameha.

Before I was able to to that, I sensed a lot of heat energy coming at me. It was Valor trying to take me head on.

“I didn't expect a young human to hold so much strength, looks like this tournament isn't gonna be a bore like the other times.” (Valor)

I forgot that this was a 1v5 competition, I totally forgot about the other Phoenixes.

“It's okay, I'll heal you.” (Hail) flew over to Marco’s side and tried to heal most of his injuries.

“Don't heal me, how can I face that human if you guys back me up.” (Marco)

Still arrogant, he would rather face the terrifying human kid alone than receive help from others.

But thanks to his injuries, he wasn't able to move as fast as he could, or even move at all.

“Your right wing is badly damaged, I can heal you if you just let me.” (Hail) being the nice bird she is, she tried her best to heal her injured brother.

“Never! Let me go.” (Marco) tried to get up and resume to the fight, but then blacked out when someone knocked him out.

“Ah! So satisfying.” (Geo) said as he finally got his revenge on his brother. By knocking him out by hitting him on the back of his head.

“Thanks Geo, you really helped me calm down Marco.” (Hail) said as she finally started healing her brother.

“...yes! That's what I wanted to do.” (Geo)

Nah that's a lie, he just wanted revenge on his brother that he hates so much.

Back on the battlefield in the air. Valor kept chasing me everywhere.

I won't be able to beat him in close range combat, because his flame is so hot, that it could burn me before it even reaches me. It literally feels like I'm battling a raging volcano.

“What's wrong, human, can't fight me head on.” (Valor)

Without saying a word, I extended my spare hand towards Valor, and launched a one-handed Rasen-kamehameha.

Valor kinda expected this attack and dodged it easily.

I don't have that many long distance attacks, so I'm trying to come up with a way to beat him.

BACK TO THE OTHER FIGHT!

It's been at least a dozen minutes since Tobi and black Zetsu were fighting the wolves of greed. Right now they are extremely tired and hurt.

They had almost died a dozen times in the last 15 minutes. To them, 15 minutes felt like an eternity. Where is the fucking help when you need it.

The whole field was a mess, a few dozen bodies were lying lifelessly on the ground. These were the troops of the wolves of greed.

“How long can you two hold. You'll be dead before the cavalry arrives.” (Fan) said also tired of this fight.

He knew that if he and his man would fight Obito alone, then they have a huge chance of beating him. But with the annoying help of black zetsu, their chances were getting slimmer and slimmer.

Don't underestimate black zetsu, he has been living for eons. And there is a reason to why he must have lived that long. He is experienced in killing, plotting, scheming, close combat. He might not be as strong as Itachi or people like him, but he can take on people without chakra in their bodies. He just needs to take their technology and use it against them.

It was actually as easy as it sounds.

“Where is white Zetsu with the cavalry!” (Obito) couldn't help but ask black zetsu.

They were both now taking cover behind a tree. And fan too was taking cover behind a rock.

“He should be here soon.” (Black zetsu) then readied his newly acquired silver gun that he stole from one of the people he killed.

Thanks to this weapon, his strength has improved a lot. He was a fast learner so he didn't need a lot of time to figure out how this weird, but powerful weapon worked.

“Boss, what do we do now? They're stronger than what you said, and we can't handle too many deaths. Remember that back in our home that we also had Tsubaki’s kingdom to worry about. So we can't afford to lose out too much.” (Scott) said worriedly to his boss.

“I know that, I didn't expect black Zetsu to adapt to the use of our advanced technology so fast. And that Tsubaki, if it weren't for her, then I could have called every single one of our troops here to deal with Obito and black zetsu. I will kill them once I have the chance…” (Fan)

Then out of the blue, the whole field was dark, something blocked out the sunlight.

Everyone looked up, and saw a giant rock that was the size of a village falling down at them.

“Finally! He's here.” (Black zetsu) said and smiled very creepily.

The giant rock crashed down on the force field, but in disintegrated upon impact.

The one who appeared was none other than the leader of the Akatsuki himself, Pain, also with his other companions.

(I mean the six paths of pain)

Seeing as how that didn't work, pain summoned another three huge meteors down towards the force field.

This time the great impact of the meteors were making cracks appear in the force field. It wasn't gonna be long until it fully breaks.

“Boss! The force field won't hold, we can't afford to fight the opponents allies. We need to evacuate.” (Scott) said in a despair manner.

“Grr! If only I had my original strength, then none of this would have happened. Activate teleportation devices, we’re going home.” (Fan) said angrily, but wasn't stupid enough to fight someone like Pain.

“Yes boss!” (Scott) didn't wait a single moment until he activated a button that was hiding in his chest. Then him and the surviving members of Wolves of greed vanished from the battle site.

Before Fan activated his button, he looked at the direction where Obito and Black zetsu were hiding, and he yelled out.

“Before I go! Tell Itachi Uchiha if he remembers who got those eyes for him, then tell him my name.” (Fan)

Fan without waiting for a response, he left the area and took with him the corpses of the deceased members of the wolves of greed. So this way, nobody else but them can utilize their advanced technology.

“Seriously, who in the world was that guy?” (Black zetsu) said. But he kept his new favourite toy in his hands.

The new silver gun has a limited amount of bullets inside, well unless someone put a little bit of chakra inside, then you will have an unlimited amount of bullets in it. Pretty cool.
