Everyone was confused at TenTen’s request to fight Luna. They knew that TenTen was strong, but not that strong.

TenTen is a master of weapons, and fuinjutsu. But her chakra pool is very low. There is only so much that she can do with just weapons.

Luna comes from a strong bloodline, and they specialize in close combat, and are masters of genjutsu. Not only that, but Luna has unlocked her mangekyo sharingan, meaning that her powers makes her the strongest female Genin.

Luna never would have thought that TenTen has a small crush on me. So she thought that TenTen would like to fight a strong opponent.

Luna put down Akamaru on the ground, and stepped on the fighting place.

TenTen did the same thing and then stopped her tracks on front of Luna. They both didn't dare underestimate one another, so they kept their guard up.

When the battle was gonna begin, I felt someone come up to me. It was Ino.

“Hello, my name is Ino.” (Ino) introduced herself to me.

This is technically our first time meeting each other. So it was pretty awkward for me to talk to her, considering that I know a lot about her.

“Hello. I saw you cheering for Hinata when she fought her father. Thank you for cheering for my student.” (Chris)

“Hehe! Us girls gotta stick together” (Ino) cutely sticked her tongue out.

“True… I don't think that you're here to tell me your name, you came here for something else, am I right.” (Chris)

I could tell from reading her mind, that she's here to ask me for a red ring.

“Uh… no.” (Ino) tried to lie to me.

“Really?! And here I thought I would give you a ring because you were cheering so hard for Hinata. Oh well, I might as well give one to Sakura.” (Chris)

I then started to walk away, until Ino yelled at me to stop.

“No wait! Okay, you got me. I wanted to ask you for a ring. I know I sound selfish, but could you give me one, I'll pay you.” (Ino)

I don't blame her. A ring like this pretty much goes against everything that this world believes in. Ino wanted to have one, so that she gains enough strength to beat Sakura in this round, and to show off to her friends.

I smiled and shook my head. This is the Ino that I knew.

“You think that rings like that grow from trees. The one I gave Luna was one of a kind, and she lost it. So how do I know that you won't do the same.” (Chris)

I won't give this ring to Ino because it must remain a secret. If I were to give her one, then wouldn't everyone in the leaf village come to get a ring from me. I don't want that.

And besides, I never thought of Ino as an attractive women. I'm not saying she's ugly, but she's not my type.

And I actually liked it when her and Sai got together. Now that I think about it, does Sai even exist in this world. Did he disappear from the world like the sound ninja.

“Because I will take care of it with my life.” (Ino)

“Hmmm. I don't believe you.” (Chris)

“Aw come on. There has to be a way for you to hand me that ring.” (Ino)

“If there is a way, I'll let you know. So just wait okay.” (Chris)

I am never gonna give her this ring. And wouldn't it be weird if I gave another girl a ring that is identical to the one I gave Luna. I would become the enemy of women.

“Promise.” (Ino) said and gave me a serious look. She is never gonna drop this matter about the ring.

“Sure.” (Chris) I lied.

Ino walked towards Hinata and Kat to talk to them. After what happened with the ring incident, they have become good friends.

Looks like the three of them were having a good time.

I turned to my side and saw Sakura with a sad expression. She was far away from us, and was avoiding the girls.

I didn't read her mind, but I knew that she is sad because she thinks she lost Luna’s ring. I couldn't help but shake my head a little.

I am gonna return this ring to Luna, when the time is right. And now, this isn't the right time.

“Begin!” (Anko)

TenTen threw a bunch of shurikens towards Luna. It's clear that TenTen wants to take Luna by surprise.

Luna then activated her sharingan eyes and then threw shurikens at TenTen. Then all of the shurikens deflected each other while in mid-air.

Luna has incredible aim. And it's also thanks to her sharingan powers that she was able to deflect every single one of TenTen’s shurikens.

However TenTen did not stop there, and kept launching shurikens and kunais directly at Luna.

It's pretty surprising how many weapons TenTen keeps in her storage seals.

At this moment, TenTen looked desperate just to land a hit on Luna.

Luna kept blocking and dodging all of TenTen’s desperate attacks. At this rate, the both of them won't have enough energy left.

I was kinda weirded out by TenTen’s desperate attempts. She isn't someone to do something like this, unless she has a plan. But what is she planning.

Then with my eyes, I noticed some papers attached to some of the Kunais. They were paper bombs.

Luna didn't notice the paper bombs around her as she was busy blocking all the weapons thrown at her.

“Oh shit!” (Chris)

I tried to warn Luna, but TenTen was quick enough to activate the paper bombs.

Luna was caught in the middle of the explosion, and a bunch of dust covered the field.

I used my sensing skills to check if Luna was okay. And she is. Looks like she used the substitution Jutsu just moments before the explosion went off.

The good thing is that Luna was fine, but the bad thing is that now she's blinded by all the dust on the area.

Luna has relied on her eyes till now, and they can't see through things like this dust cloud, only Hyuuga members have that ability.

Although the people here couldn't see inside the dust cloud, I could still feel them inside the dust cloud.

Looks like TenTen has prepared for this moment, and jumped as high as she could where Luna was.

I don't understand how TenTen figured out where Luna was, despite the dust cloud blocking her vision.

And when TenTen was above Luna, she took out the kubikiribocho out of her storage seal, and used the kubikiribocho’s weight to strengthen her next attack on Luna. She used the advantage the she was above Luna, and smashed it down to ground.

Luna somehow saw the attack only inches away from her face. She didn’t have enough time to dodge that attack, so she blocked it.

TenTen’s great use of that sword caught Luna off guard and she was knocked back several meters. Luna’s body was launched out of the dust cloud, and everybody saw that Luna is in a bad state.

Her right hand was broken. She is not physically strong, so her right hand couldn’t stand the impact of the heavy sword. But it was better a broken hand, than several broken ribs.

Everyone couldn’t believe that someone like TenTen could hurt Luna to such a state.

Then the dust settled and everybody saw TenTen wielding the Kubikiribocho. TenTen wasn’t strong enough to wield such a heavy sword, so she sat it on the ground.

“Isn’t that, the Kubikiribocho?” (Kurenai) said surprised. It’s the first time she has seen a legendary sword. And yet, a genin is in possession of such a strong sword. How could she not be surprised.

“Hm. I heard from Kakashi that he and his team had a fight with zabuza of the hidden mist. But he didn’t mention that he brought the sword back with him. Otherwise, he would have given that sword to the Hokage.” (Asuma)

Since Kakashi isn’t here because he’s busy escorting Kiba to prison, they had no way of telling him why  TenTen has such a strong sword.

“Hm… Chris.” (Sasuke)

“Hm?” (Chris) I turned to face Sasuke.

“Did you give her that sword?” (Sasuke) asked.

Smart bastard. Just by putting a few pieces together, he knows that I gave TenTen that sword.

“How did you know?!” (Chris)

“I remember that back in the land of waves, everyone but you was knocked out. So only you must have taken that sword.” (Sasuke)

“You're smarter than you look. But not so much with that orange jumpsuit. Heh heh heh!” (Chris)

Sasuke ignored that i just ridiculed that clothes I made him wear.

“But why would you give her that weapon.” (Sasuke) said confused.

“A trade. She helped me and I helped her.” (Chris)

“What did she give you.” (Sasuke)

“Noneya.” (Chris)

“What's a noneya?” (Sasuke)

“Noneya business.” (Chris)

Classic. *clap* *clap* *clap*

“...” (Sasuke) didn't pry into the subject any further, and left.

Back to the fight.

Luna was in deep trouble. Her hand is broken, and TenTen probably has some more tricks up her sleeve.

None of the two girls said anything to each other. They waited for the one who makes a move.

TenTen kept her eyes anywhere but on Luna's face. She was aware that if she looked into her eyes, then she would be under her genjutsu.

All TenTen wanted to prove was that she was strong enough to be with Chris.

She liked Chris because of various things. One, he doesn't treat her like a weak girl.

TenTen has tried her whole life to be seen as a strong girl. But everyone else treats her like she is weak. She just wants to be respected the way she wants. And so far, only Chris has shown her that respect.

He didn't say why a girl like her was into weapons, when men are mostly into that kind of stuff. Or why she acts like a man, when she should act like a cute girl.

She also likes Chris because out of all the people her age, Chris is the only one who is interested in weapons. Not only that, he basically gave her a legendary sword for free.

It was those things that got TenTen to like Chris. And there might not be another person like him.

And by showing that she can beat Luna Uchiha, she will prove that she is not as weak as they say, and that girls can be stronger than any other guy.

This is the reason why Tsunade is her role model. She speaks to all woman out there that they are just as good as men.

Back to the fight, again.

TenTen puts the kubikiribocho back in her storage seal. The sword is just too heavy for her to carry around.

This is bad for Luna. She is a right handed, and now her right arm is broken. And she can't use any ninjutsu. So her only option are her eyes, genjutsu and taijutsu.

But without the support of her right hand, her taijutsu level is weak.

Then Luna ran backwards to gain some distance. She needs to come up with a plan to take down TenTen fast.

TenTen decided to follow her. She pretty much almost used up all of her Kunais and shurikens on her storage seals. Now she needs to be careful to use her remaining shurikens and kunais.

Seeing as how TenTen was chasing her, she decided to dash back to her and use a kunai to attack her.

TenTen took out a katana out of her storage seal and charge at Luna.

Luna wasn't desperate, but she had a plan.

Before charging at TenTen, she placed a Kunai on her mouth, and kept another one one her left hand.

The Kunai and swords collided, creating a small spark due to the friction between them.

Luna used all of her strength to take out the katana on TenTen’s hands.

The sword and Kunai dropped to the ground. But Luna was quick to act, then used the Kunai on her mouth to give TenTen a small cut on her cheek.

TenTen only barely avoided that attack. She then backed off several meters away from Luna, and was ready to take out more weapons from her storage seal.

When she tried to get out some of her weapons out of her storage seal, nothing happened?

TenTen felt her chakra was gone for a moment.

While she was distracted. Luna jumped directly at her and looked into her eyes. Now TenTen was under her genjutsu.

This sudden attack caught TenTen off guard, and she lost this fight.

The reason why TenTen lost is because Luna used her chakra negate on TenTen. She only activated her mangekyo sharingan for a few seconds, then deactivated them.

Kurenai saw the change in Luna's eyes for a brief moment, but then thought as  just tricks playing with her eyes.

The use of the mangekyo sharingan is too taxing. It takes too much chakra, and puts a small strain on her eyes.

I let out a sigh of relief. I was glad that Luna won. it wasn't her fault that she was in such a state, TenTen had a great strategy to take Luna down. And even though TenTen didn't win, she has earned the respect of her classmates.

Even Sasuke thought highly of her.

If Luna hadn't used her mangekyo sharingan, then the victor would have been TenTen.

If Luna had used some of her Ninjutsus earlier, then maybe she wouldn't have a broken hand right now.

“Winner is lover boy’s girlfriend.” (Anko)

“Um! My name is Luna.” (Luna) said.

“I know. Next!” (Anko)

Luna deactivate her genjutsu on TenTen, then she came back to my side.

Several medic ninjas offered to help Luna with her hand, but she rejected them. How could they even compare to my Kekkai Genkai, is what Luna thought.

Once Luna came to my side, I healed her whole body, and she is at her peak again. It's like she was never hurt before.

People who already knew of my healing Kekkai Genkai weren't surprised. Those who didn't know were quite shocked, but didn't say anything.

TenTen didn't seek any medical treatment since her injuries weren't that serious.

She stepped beside Luna, then said.

“I had a great time Luna. It's nice seeing girls like us who are really strong. Hopefully the boys can see that someday.” (TenTen) said with a smile.

TenTen is somebody who respects strong females. And although she knows about our relationship, she would rather be friends with Luna rather than an enemy. She is not someone who will steal someone else's boyfriend.

“I've had a great fight too, TenTen. Hopefully we can become friends.” (Luna)

The thrill and excitement of fighting someone strong is a new feeling for Luna. This is the first time she has felt something like this.

Back at the land of waves, and the second round of the exam, she didn't experience those things. She only experienced true fear. She was too weak to fight those people back then.

(When she turned into her Susanoo form, it didn't count. Since she wasn't in control of it, and doesn't remember most of it.)

“Of course!” (TenTen)

Then she looked at my way, then her eyes suddenly moistened. She made an excuse to go to the bathroom and left.

… I need to talk to her. I feel bad if I don't do something.

You gonna add her to the harem.

I am just gonna talk to her, and nothing else.

Then the next fights weren't that good. They were just too boring, or one sided. These are the results.

Sasuke vs Kankuro.

Sasuke won.

Neji vs Hinata. Yes, Neji challenged Hinata for a rematch after the last time. Something about fate for some shit.

Hinata won.

Shino vs Choji. This one was chosen by luck, since nobody else wanted to choose their opponent .

Shino won.

Shikamaru vs Naruto. The rest of the fights were drawn by Anko.

Naruto won.

Temari vs Kat

Kat won without using her Kekkai Genkai.

Sakura vs Ino.

It was a tie.

And unlike in the anime, these two are having a rematch one day before the fourth round begins. Which is in 29 days.

Anko and several other Jonin ninjas thought it was fair if there was a winner. So they're holding like a mini round in 29 days. And whoever wins, advances to the last round of the exam.

And that is it. These are the ones who made it for the final round.

Chris.

Luna.

Kat.

Naruto.

Sasuke.

Hinata.

Shino.

Gaara.

Ino or Sakura.

Then we all stood in a line information. We were waiting for Anko’s next set of instructions.

“You will know who your opponent is, when the fourth and final round of this exam is up. I suggest that you nine… I mean 10, to use this time wisely and practice. See you in a month. But I'll be seeing you much sooner, lover boy.” (Anko) said as she licked her lips.

I couldn't help but shiver a little from fear.

“Uh! I need an adult.” (Chris)

“I am an adult.” (Anko)

Anko decided not to follow me today, because the sun was going down and her curse might soon affect her. So she'll come bother me another day.

(Did the exam really take that long?)

Then we all went our separate ways.

Naruto had to leave with Jiraiya on some special mission? So I won't be seeing him in a month.

Sasuke has Kakashi to teach him how to properly use his chidori. So he'll be with him for a whole month.

Shino and Gaara did whatever they wanted.

Ino and Sakura went to do something as well. I don't know what it is and I don't care.

Although Hinata wasn't going anywhere. Her aunt, Hina, is gonna teach Hinata until the final round of the exam is here. So I might not see her much in this month.

Everyone else, including me stayed. I promised each one of them that I would practice with them.

I would teach Luna how to use her scythe techniques, and her mangekyou sharingan.

I'm gonna teach Kat to control the plant energy. Which I can't wait to see. I still need to figure out the best way to safely teach her this new technique.

I summoned a shadow clone to go heal Lee. I better do it now before I forget.

And I forgot to mention. My charm was still in effect, and Akamaru has not once left our side. He is kinda cute when I think about him. Only when he doesn't want to pull my pants off with his teeth?

And just when me and the gang were about out to enter a restaurant, I heard footsteps running towards us.

We stopped at our tracks, then turned around to see who it was.

The person is someone who I expected to see.
