“Excuse me. Master Majin wishes to talk to you.”
Wonder looked up. They had come in from the coral reef. Wonder had turned out great at bow fishing… once they attached a rope to the bow. Not only had they enough spinach fish, but multiple other fish. Oh, and Wonder now had a shark Tamed. He was still debating how that happened.
But they filled the boat, and headed back. Now this Lightwraith noble-woman in a sled-chair had come up. A preteen Lightwraith boy stood next to her. Unlike most of his species, he was only wearing a light shirt and jeans.
Either he came for a day at the beach, or he’s a Mage. Also, why is that lady dressed like noble?
Wonder shoved the thoughts off. Maybe the other parent was a non-Lightwraith noble. As both Rose and Sakura indicated, if they grew up in different environments, Lightwraiths weren’t total assholes. Wonder said, “If it’s to buy lunch, they’re not cleaned yet.”
The woman said, “It is about your daughter…”
Wonder had his bow out so fast, even Crisis ran over. The woman stood firm, and it was the boy who got up. He said calmly, “We are lifemates. Please. Let me talk to her.”
Wonder raised an eyebrow and looked at Crisis. “This the boy you told me about?”
Crisis nodded. “Yes sir.”
Wonder said, “Keep an eye on them. I’ll ask Sakura if she wants to talk to him.”
Wonder walked over to where Sakura was clearly hiding behind the boat. He said, “Just say the word, baby girl, and I’ll stun-bolt both of them and let them float to the dock.”
Sakura smiled softly and weakly got up. “N-N-No… I mean… if he’s my lifemate… he can’t be that bad… right?”
Wonder said, “Logic does dictate that baby girl. But that does not mean he’s allowed to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.”
Sakura nodded. She looked at him. “…will you stay with me?”
“I will be in shooting range the whole time. He tries anything, he’s a skewer.”
Izuku appeared, “Then wolf lunch!” Stormy and Lightning nodded.
Sakura chuckled. Wonder smiled, offered her his hand…
Then looked at his boy, who was suddenly taller than him. “Izuuuuuuku?”
“Uh…” Izuku pointed at the 20 Undead Sharks.
Was waiting for a chance! Congrats, your Izuku has Evolved Into the Teenage Sapling! Now his aging will level out to normal levels. Enjoy puberty! :-D

“Sweetie, I love you… but maybe chill before you evolve into a grandparent. Daddy only got you 2 months ago.”
Izuku chuckled. “Sure, Dad.”
Rose said, “Wonder, do we need to go hunting for another baby for you to raise?”
Wonder said, “Kat should show up in baby form any minute, so no need.”
They all laughed.

Luckily, Majin didn’t seem to want to treat Sakura with anything but respect. Maybe a little much, but maybe that was royal raising. His maid/governess/who-knew just sat nearby, watching intently and petting any animal that would sit on her lap.
Wonder looked at the fish he had gathered and pushed with his mind. An prompt came up: Do you want to loot Silver-Scale Fish? Y/N
Wonder hit Y. The fish shimmered, then turned into meat, scales, and guts. Luckily, this meant he didn’t have to do the nasty cutting, peeling, and all that stuff. Sadly, he could only do one fish at a time.
Majin peeked over the table. “Is that magic?”
Wonder said, “Yep.”
“Why don’t you use your hands?”
“Because I find it very yucky and it makes me sick.”
Majin looked up. He wore a sun-visor, but his body language was curious. “So it makes you weak?”
Yeeeeeesh.
Lightwraith culture.
Wonder debated how to answer. He said, “It makes me creative. I find other ways to do what needs to be done so I don’t feel yucky and sick.”
Majin nodded. “And if you can’t use magic?”
Wonder held up a knife. “Then I go full krogan on it.”
Majin chuckled. “Kro-gran?”
So he is a kid.
Wonder smirked. “Maybe I’ll tell you the story sometime. Right now… I have fish to deal with before I sell them.”
“Why not eat them?”
Wonder indicated the boat full. “Too much. Also, other people need to eat and are too busy with their jobs. So we get paid to Hunt… or in this case, fish.”
He chuckles. He then got an idea. “You want to try?”
Majin looked at the knife, then shook his head. “I’m better with hand-to-hand, not weapons.”
“A little martial artist then! Fair enough.”
He smirked. “Think you can crack open an oyster?” He held up one of the shellfish.
Wonder could have sworn the kid’s eyes were sparkling. He nodded and held out his hands. Wonder handed it to him, and watched the kid struggle with it. His arms then glittered and the oyster popped in two.
Wonder said, “One-For-All ripoff there.” He laughed. “Was that enhancement magic?”
Majin rolled his shoulders. “Yeah… Lightwraiths are good at enhancement magic.”
“I’ll agree to that. Here, come help me pop a few more oysters. Maybe we’ll find some pearls.”
“Pearls?”
“If an oyster gets caught with a grain of sand in its mouth, it makes a covering over it so it not hurt the oyster. That slowly turns the grain of sand into a shiny pearl.”
Majin’s eyes definitely glittered then. Izuku popped up. “Wait, seriously?”
Wonder bounced. He laughed. “Yep! Pretty cool, huh?”
“YO WONDER!!!”
Wonder rubbed his ears. “Here comes the earthquake…”
He suddenly noticed a change in Majin. Suddenly the curious boy was replaced by a stoic warrior. But that warrior instantly got in front of Sakura in a defensive pose.
Oh.
No.
Wonder looked up as Ralton said, “I see you’ve met my boy! Strong lil’ bugger, isn’t he?”
