Yes, I know having 40 artillery pieces is too much and would most likely level Vatican City in 5 hours, but that's basically what I need right now if you consider the fact that my enemy would look like an endless wave of red from above.
In fact, I made the Battledroids just to counter their endless numbers. Although their acids are corrosive, it really doesn't matter if the target doesn't stop, like how pistol bullets are blunt and not pointy. They were purely made to stop someone, not kill them. Their dying is just a bonus.
Besides that, the metal plating that makes up the Droid is 8 inches thick, and that is the smallest one. The largest one, Giga, is 20 inches thick. Basically, it's about the same size as a flaccid horse penis. Don't ask why I remember how big horsecocks are.
Anyway, back to preparations. Right now, I'm kind of regretting not arranging the army a month ago because right now everything is in chaos.
My people were rushing about trying to get everything ready; if I had actually focused on preparing my army rather than doing random shit with my city, then none of this might have happened.
I also do not like the fact that both the firecrackers and black deaths were all huddling around the warehouse that contained the tanks. Thankfully, it wasn't a full-on advance into enemy territory; I was just scaring the enemy away from my land.
I want my land secure, bruh; the children's safety is first. Hey, I'm a psychopath, not a monster. To be honest, I'm not really sure how to arrange an army. I mean, I did conjure up a book about armies and shit to study, but I'm pretty sure whatever I'm doing is absolutely fucking wrong.
Oh well, it is what it is.
Anyway, I don't intend on sending in the battledroids for this fight. But if shit goes south, then I'll send in a cluster knight to assist them. I don't want to send in the giga yet. It's not ready, and its pilot, whom Evictus trained in secret, is still having one final exam before Evictus gives her the go-ahead.
On an unrelated note, I ship Evictus with the Giga pilot. Call me strange; I don't give a shite. Hohohohoho.
Back on topic, The cluster knight would most likely be more than enough if shit hits the fan. I might even send the other one if things get even more dangerous.
The Guardians would be more of a nuisance than helpful. They were made to take care of very large enemies. Of course, these things are just the beginning. I plan on making them bigger and stronger over time.
I also plan on doing a military parade for the steel fortress. You know, the fucking land battleship. That packs more firepower than the droids. The reason I haven't just focused on making more rattes, you say, is that the droids were supposed to be for more agile battles, although the ratte is fast and strong. It can't really move that much and has to stop moving if it wants to fire its cannons.
So basically, the droids are made to fight giants, while the tank fights multiple targets. Both are strong in their own right but fall short in some aspects.
But I'm pretty sure there would be more tanks than droids. I'm still finding better designs for my tanks, not only for more potent firepower with a minimal amount of supply and effort but also for a cooler design. I'm keeping to the battleship layout for the core-class vehicles. Does the Giga Battledrpid count as a core class? Eh. I'll ponder it later.
Anyway, back to current events. Everything KINDA seems to be under control. I mean, yeah, some enforcer-class windrunners had to be deployed, but hey, that's supposed to be their job.
If you had read the numbers I had written down, you would have noticed that each soldier type has a class now. Well, I figured that using the same soldier over and over would have severe consequences in the long run. I mean, eventually the enemy would figure out more and more weaknesses as time went on and, without hesitation, abuse said weaknesses.
I want to avoid that as much as possible; of course, this would only prolong the inevitable, but time is a scarce resource, and the more time you have, the better.
Anyway, I realized the windrunners would most likely be away from the frontline most of the time and would just be at the base, being unproductive. So I gave each of them different roles; this also applies to the other elements.
For each element, I split them into three simple categories, along with a number of roles depending on their class. Light, well-rounded, heavy—each category is self-explanatory.
Light types are fast, cunning, and stealthy, but at the cost of firepower. Used for harassment or stealthy scouting missions.
Heavy types are slow, clumsy, and giant walking targets for harassment, but hoo boy, accidentally get in their range and you'll be shitting teeth for a week (if you live).
Well-rounded types are the students who don't study for their exams but somehow pass. They are fast, strong, stealthy, and pack a lot of firepower, at the cost of being easily outclassed by any other infantry. It's not that they don't have skill; it's just that they aren't good at anything. They are fast; yes, that is true, but a windrunner would still run circles around them, and an earthshaker would still break their arm if they dared challenge one to an arm wrestling match.
It's an oversimplification of things; yes, I know that, but unfortunately for you, my figments of imagination, I do not give a shite. I barely got to page 2 of the military book I conjured up. I got distracted, okay? It was also around that time that I made the Big Ben in the eastern district.
Speaking of which, the nursery teachers seem to be preparing for the new influx of young generations. If my 5 MB memory is right, pregnancies last about 4 months. I forgave, and babies take around another 4 months before they are able to talk, followed by 2 months before they are able to walk, and another 2 before they start making coherent sentences.
My people, whom I've started calling aculons, are also incredibly smart and regenerative, so the babies would most likely develop quickly. I kind of feel bad for the future generation. They're going to experience something I absolutely hated back home. I mean, I know it's important and all, but it's either mind-numbing or so stressful that your hair starts to gray.
Back to my army: I'm pretty sure I did not arrange the army correctly. I mean, I just took the most prominent things I remember from my old world and slapped them together like flex tape on a leak.
I've also been thinking of ways to transport supplies and soldiers to the frontlines quickly; the one I came up with was making a railroad. While the army slowly pushes the enemy out of my area of influence, a small labor force of construction workers and soldiers would build railroads while staying relatively far away from the Frontline. about 5 kilometers. Making them relatively far away from the battle while also being close enough for supplies to arrive quickly on cargo transports.
Most of the fighting would probably be taken care of by the firecrackers. Considering they were specifically trained to charge into enemy lines, they would most likely suffer the most casualties. Maybe I should have just added another assault battalion rather than another siege battalion. I probably won't encounter any heavily fortified positions. I don't think they, or "beasties", as my people call them, have any opposable thumbs.
I mean, they might have breeding grounds and a horrendously short period of pregnancy and infancy, like what I did to my animals, but only this time, cranked up to a Looney Tunes 1000 on the speaker, daffy duck style. Considering the amount of corpses that litter outside the fucking wall, Meletia had to hire a labor force from Quinton to constantly clean up after herself every day.
Who's Quinton? You don't remember? Well, neither did I until Meletia started begging Quinton to give her a couple more laborers after a few of them died in an ambush during their nightly clean-up routine.
It was really fun to watch. I'm not a psychopath; YOU ARE.
Ahem, besides that absolutely factually true fact that you are a psychopath, It was after Meletia's begging and pleading episode that I also finally talked to the rest of the first spawn other than Evictus. In fact, I'm pretty sure none of them have even heard my voice since the day I conjured them. Other than the times I've shouted for Evictus.
To be honest, they might be considered quite lucky by Aculytes (plural form of Aculon, i.e., Alester's superhumans) standards. The rest of the Aculytes have never even heard my voice. The only one who was in constant contact with me was Evictus.
Oh, hey, it looks like Lefia's kid has started to talk. Yeah, yeah, Lefia has a kid now; big whoop; they aren't important, I think. I mean, they're important to my people, but I don't really have any attachments to them.
Anyway, back on track. It looks like there are a bunch of soldiers at the administration department; I guess they lost their identification cards. Yeah, I kind of feel bad about them, seeing as how it was my fault for not organizing the military a week before today.
Oh well, at most they'll get an earful from their superiors, but I hope they understand their circumstances for losing said identification cards.
To be honest, I should have accelerated the production of the special dog tags for each soldier in the military. Yes, the mechanics and trauma doctors are also trained soldiers; it's just that their elemental abilities are far more suited for support than combat.
Oh yeah, other than the 4PSs (4 Pointed Stars), everyone has ranks. The auxiliaries are as follows:
Mechanic:
Junior mechanic > Mechanic > Senior Mechanic > Supervisor > Manager > Executive > Director
Severe Trauma Doctor:
Intern > Junior Resident > Resident > Senior Resident > Medical Supervisor > Department Manager > Assistant Director > Director of Medicine
Combat Medic:
Frontline Medic > Pit Crew Medic > Elite Medic > Captain > Commanding Medic
That's it for the auxiliaries for the heavy types.
Earthshaker:
Recruit: Charge Tank > Pit Crew MG > MG Nest Leader > Squad Elite > Squad Sergeant > Squad Lieutenant > Squad Captain
Uuuhhhhh, I can't really think of another element that fits the heavy type. Oh well. Next, we have the well-rounded types. Firecrackers and Black deaths
Firecrackers:
Rookie > Private > Specialist > Elite > Corporal > Sergeant > Lieutenant > Captain > Major > Colonel > General
Blackdeaths:
Cannon fodder > Cannon fodder first class > Senior Cannon fodder > Expensive cannon fodder > Officer of cannon fodder > Expensive cannon fodder > More expensive cannon fodder > Even More expensive cannon fodder > Most expensive cannon fodder
Jk Jk
Blackdeaths:
Private > Grenadier > Specialist > Elite > Corporal > Sergeant > Lieutenant > Captain > Major > Colonel > General
With the well-rounded ones out of the way, it's time for the light ones. Which is almost useless in battle and more useful as scouts and police.
Windrunner (Army)
Private > Private First Class > Specialist > Corporal > Sergeant Lieutenant > Captain > Major > Colonel > General
Windrunner (Police)
Keeper of Peace, intern > Keeper of Peace > Brigadier > Chief Brigadier > Major
Windrunner (Special Ops)
Recruit > Operative > Senior Operative > Elite Operative > Task Force Sergeant > Task Force Lieutenant > Task Force Leader
Damn, I'm not gonna lie, the windrunners had the most variety. The army and police are self-explanatory, but the special operations are kind of a head-scratcher. For you maybe.
I actually know what I'm going to use the special operations for; it's a 100 percent foolproof plan. But I'm not going to tell you right now. No, no, no.
That would ruin the surprise.
