"Make sure you jab the sword in a pointed motion...Trust me, it is very helpful...There we are! You seem to have quite the gift, Hatsyoudo, quite the gift..."
Before he had stepped foot in the Nexus, Hatsyoudo had never even touched a sword of any kind. And now, all within one hour, Madam Arierom had transformed him into an exceptional wielder of his one-handed longsword; by the time the class was over, Madam Arierom was so impressed with him, that she gave Hatsyoudo an amulet to place in the middle of his sword.
As she handed Hatsyoudo the awesome gem, It seemed that she couldn't be more excited.

The next class was also an interesting one: Geography.
Of course, Hatsyoudo introduced himself to the teacher, Mr. Bonatchi; He had to give Hatsyoudo a basic rundown of the history of the world he lived in, while all the other members of Classroom 6A performed a quiz.
"Well, Hatsyoudo," He began. "As you know, exactly 10,000 years ago, this world was created by god. But what many don't know is that this world was originally managed by a very smart and witty wizard named Haikuni Ginosullivan. Back then, peace was inevitable. But as always with history, bloodshed is too. When devils overran our world, even the wits of Ginosullivan could not stop the inevitable damage done. In the end, Ginosullivan could only save his portion of the land, containing three villages, one city, a few water sources and trees, and of course, the then-newly-built Nexus High School. And when satan eventually found Ginosullivan, he had one last trick up his sleeve. He used up all his mana to create an exit to both Heaven and Hell. Ever since then, Hatsyoudo, we have been searching tirelessly for the exit. And as a thank-you for Ginosullivans' efforts, the remainder of our land was named after him. The only parts of this land that devils still own to this day, our only one-half of the nation of Paradime, and in a small piece of land not far from here known as the blood realm."
Of course, this behemoth of information was a lot for the already attention-lacking Hatsyoudo, and it took him a while to process the entire thing; When he finally did? The class had been dismissed, and scared to get lost on his first day, Hatsyoudo tagged along.

Luckily for Hatsyoudo, that was the final lesson of the day, and he didn't have to think about any other things to wrap his head around, but after everyone went their separate ways, he decided to stick around with Akane and go to the library with her. He wanted to ask her some questions, and luckily for Hatsyoudo, Akane had all the answers.

"It's been on my mind all day...But how did you all end up here in the Nexus?"
"The same way as you," Akane answered, as she wandered into the history section of the library. "We were all reincarnated. Of course, we all come from different sides of the galaxy. I don't know if anyone has told you this yet, but humans come from every side of the universe. "
"Wait, What?!?"
"Yes...I, for example, come from the very right side of the universe. Anyway, most people who are reborn here in Ginosullivan just run their own little shops in villages. But we were lucky, and we were given the option to try and find a way out of there. Many think that it's only a matter of time until the devils completely take over Ginosullivan."
Akane pulled down a book from a high, dusty old shelf in the library; as she was doing this, Hatsyoudo developed yet another question.
"Why would you even want to leave this place? I mean, it seems like it's a pretty good place here..."
"That's because the Nexus is the most luxurious place in Ginosullivan; If you were to even gaze at some of the less fortunate, you'd probably burst into tears of sorrow."
"Wait, So how come I was reincarnated into the Nexus, while others aren't?"
"Nobody knows," Akane replied. "That's just the way this works. I mean, it's the same as living on earth and asking 'How come I was born into a rich family, while people on the other side of the world were born into poor families?"

Despite talking to Akane relentlessly, he still had a list of questions a mile long; with so many questions about who?, what?, when?, where?, why?, Akane would be up until morning answering the list. Akane, being the sensible person she was, decided that instead of sitting there answering them, she'd show Hatsyoudo them.
She spent a good half-hour in the library searching for the right book, before eventually finding the right book. And so, as a welcome gift to Hatsyoudo, she decided to buy the book and present it to him before he went to bed.
"It's called, Who to the Why: Everything a recently-reincarnated Scholar Will Need to Know, by Chase Darkuni," Akane said, as she presented the book to Hatsyoudo. "I think you will enjoy it."
"I will!" Hatsyoudo answered, still beaming about the amazing day he had. "I can't thank you enough, Akane!"
