The next day was a free one, and Hatsyoudo decided to ask Akane to help him explore the Nexus. Unfortunately, Akane was busy that day, so instead, he decided to ask Fumiko.
Fumiko was delighted to help Hatsyoudo out; since Fumiko was bored and also wanted to get to know Hatsyoudo better, Fumiko decided to help him out.
The reason why Hatsyoudo wanted to get a basic idea of the campus was actually quite simple: The campus was 1000 acres wide and 700 acres tall. It was so wide, transporting stations were set up everywhere, in which scholars would input their destination a scroll, and be teleported to said-side of the campus. Because of this, Hatsyoudo figured out that it would be a good idea to at least have some idea of where to go.
Of course, Fumiko knew that unless she wanted to spend the next three months going in-depth on every side of the building, she'd just help Hatsyoudo find a book on the topic. And with a bit of help from the librarian, Mrs. Chairo, Fumiko found Hatsyoudo the perfect book: Where shall we go today?: A comprehensive guide to exploring the Nexus: By Haiko Chongofio; Updated and Expanded by Sokumantchiio.

After thanking Fumiko for her help, he decided to follow the destinations in order; After turning the first page, Hatsyoudo immediately started devouring the words, reading and rereading the text to make sure that he was going to the right places.

The first place that the book sent him was the main courtyard. It was just outside the breathtaking castle, and the plains, courtyards, and hiking trails seemed to be endless, or at least it felt that way to Hatsyoudo; After spending a bit more time experiencing the limitless sunlight and relaxing in the hills, he figured that it would be a good idea to move onto the next location.
The next place Hatsyoudo visited was the Balcony wing; According to Hatsyoudo's guide book, the balcony was, and had always been, 'The greatest place in Ginosullivan to catch the view of Ginosullivan; Hatsyoudo couldn't agree more.
He could see everything. From the lands in the blood realm, to the poor villages of Paradime. And Akane was right: Just looking at the families, laboring away under the laboring and beating sun, made Hatsyoudo come close to tears.

Before the day was done, Hatsyoudo decided to visit one more spot before the day was done; The next spot that he would go to, he decided, would be the the Nexus hot springs. However, Hatsyoudo was still very hesitant about visiting the spot, since it had a track record of suggestive activity. But he told himself that it was fine, and that if he wanted to make more friends, he'd need to find out about where to find them.
But when Hatsyoudo arrived, he was both shocked and disappointed to find that the only face that was at the springs was a familiar one; It was the face of Fumiko's. She was bathing in the hot springs when Hatsyoudo found her, and she was elated to know that Hatsyoudo had put her book to good use.
