After class was dismissed, Hatsyoudo decided to try to find the new students to get to know them better. Jahseā and Haganezuka were nowhere to be seen, but Hatsyoudo was lucky enough to find Emma sitting alone outside in the fields behind the school.
"What are you doing over here?" Hatsyoudo asked, curious.
"I'm trying to think of new dance moves," she answered. "My dream is to become a dancer..."
"Oh...My names Hatsyoudo."
"Hatsyoudo? That's a nice name..."
"No. It's Not. I don't like it at all. Neither is my last name. Donkai. I hate them both."
"...Why? Is there any exact reason?"
"Ever since I was young, I was bullied for having the name. I always wanted a name I could look up to. Like Hayatsu..."
"...Well, Aoi told me that Aoi wasn't her original name. It was Chiyo. She said that she was able to change it to what she wanted here, since there are no laws or birth certificates."
"So... I can just change it to whatever I want here?"
"Yes."
"Then I shall change it."
Emma smiled. "Well then, hello, Hayatsu."
Before Hayatsu could respond, Madam Arierom came onto the loud speaker, asking all boys to report to the main hall.

When Hayatsu first entered the hall, he was given a clunky armor set to put on. He was also handed his weapon, along with a bow and arrow.
The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Madam Arierom was standing on a pedestal in the very center of the main hall, where other students wearing the armor were gathering around to listen to the announcement.
"I apologies for bringing you all here on such short notice, but it has come to the attention of the Nexus school board that Satan's minion's are on the move. According to reports, they are coming in from both the Azagian strip in Paradime, and the Realm of Blood, invading the village of Compuneā. If these reports are true, then the Nexus could be concerningly vulnerable. And so, we have decided to amend an official Nexus Army. It will work like this: After school, you will all meet in the main hall and train for attacks. You will all have to train very hard, and your chances of survival in battle are slim, but I am afraid that it's the only way we can restore peace in Ginosullivan."

The Announcement caused quite a stir among the residents of the Nexus; It wasn't long before people started to protest the decision and question certain aspects of it. Yet, with Hayatsu in the mix of it all, he seemed...Fazed.
He had know idea what to make of the situation. The only thing he had ever really known about soldiers were how highly respected they were. And so, he was completely fine with the arrangement.
However, Hayatsu had truly underestimated the sheer amount of training required; So he was not happy when the first thing that he was greeted with on his first day of training was an order to do 500 push-ups.
This continued into running 3 laps around the entire schoolyard, before having to do an intense weapon training in bows. Eventually, they would end off the day by marching around the school.
By the time that the training was done, it was 3:00 AM and Hayatsu could barely keep his eyes open. But when he reminded himself that it was for a better cause, it helped him get over it a bit...
...Still, he didn't see the point of doing all that training, and it was seriously on his mind to try and ditch the practice...
...But then on the other hand, that would let his teachers down...
This pointless bickering went on for about an hour, before Hayatsu passed out from a lack of sleep.

The next day, Hayatsu decided to get together with Jahseā and Emma(Haganezuka didn't want to be disturbed in the Library.)
Jahseā was a weird one; He reminded Hayatsu of Shigeo Kageyama from Mob Psycho 100.
Similar to Shigeo, Jahseā didn't show a lot of emotion, but he stilled seemed to be a very wise kid for his age.
Emma was still sitting in her corner, as she was hoping to finish her choreography that same day.
Hayatsu was still getting used to Jahseā personality, but Emma's seemed to click with Hayatsu's a lot more. I would recommend you remember that, as it will have quite the significance later.
