The Enchanted Library was a grand and majestic place filled with endless records and books with walls made of clusters of stars and books filled with all manner of knowledge and magic. The library itself was filled with the fragrant smells of ink and parchment, giving the place a very relaxing air.
White went to the enchanted library in search of the Heavenly Records: books containing info about every individual creation and being, and about the life, death, and history of such creations.
After searching for a while, she took all the records she needed and sat down on her favorite white chair made of comfortable clouds with bright and colorful crystals. A purple energy ball hung above her head.
As she read quietly, she spotted the Black Gemaris from a meter away staring at her.
Black Gemaris was a goddess who kept to herself and didn't like to partake in other matters.
She was someone who was always doing nothing, earning her the title, The Lazy Goddess.
She barely did any of the tasks assigned to her and always disappeared when she was needed.
Her laziness wasn't her only flaw. Her chaotic aura made other Gemaris keep away from her.
All those who would go near her would be affected by her chaotic aura making them go mad. Some would instantly lose their minds while others would have less and less tolerance against her aura the longer they stayed near her.
Black Gemaris had long black silky hair, angelic black wings, and a fair - but slightly wicked appearance. She had a beautiful shape, and her height made her somewhat intimidating. She also possessed a pair of bright and intelligent black eyes with a Gemaris crest in her pupils and had beautiful, smooth brown skin.
"Oh my dearest White," Black Gemaris sneered as she walked to where White was sitting.
"What do you want?" White hissed at Black looking annoyed. "I know you don't talk to anyone unless you have reasons, so just get to the point."
"Oh my, how rude!! All I wanted to do was to talk to my dearest sister," Black sniffled with a pitiable, but obviously fake cry.
'Nothing good happens once Black is around. I should stay away from her so that her Dark Aura doesn't affect me.' White Gemaris thought to herself.
White quickly got up and teleported to the opposite side of the library, her books in hand.

"Finally peace and quiet." she said, smiling when no one was to be seen.
The enchanted library wasn't your average library. For one, it was almost as big as the space people occupied on earth and was ever expanding as more knowledge was brought there. Its use being almost exclusive to the Gemaris.
Before White could finish the second page of the book she had resumed reading, she spotted Black staring at her once again from one of the floating library shelves. Her eyes were dark.
'Uggh!! I can never tell what a strange Gemaris like her is thinking.' White thought to herself, as her anger became visible on her face.
"What do you want Black?! Make it quick because I don't have time for you. I'm a bit busy, as you can see.."
"Well then, I'll just say it. Do you know that when a Gemaris kills another Gemaris they can inherit the title of the one they killed? I am not saying anything you should, but if you happened to kill Purple you might, perhaps, inherit her title and dominion over all the Gemaris." Black claimed with a smirk on her face.
"What is your goal?" asked White with a frown.
'She is plotting something. Why else would she remind me about the Taboo of killing a Gemaris?' White frowned inwardly as she thought to herself.
"Nothing really. I just wanted you to think about it. It will be fun to see what you do, now that it is on your mind..." Black laughed as she disappeared into the mist.
With Black gone from her sight, White huffed to herself, returning to where she left off. But she couldn't concentrate. As she looked down, she saw a glint of dark red, before her thoughts changed and twisted to the will of the curse placed on her.
An eerie smile shaped her mouth as she spoke to no one. "Perhaps, a change of pace would be better. Killing Purple will grant me the authority I've always wanted. The power I coveted. I would become the most powerful. Ruler of all dimensions, perhaps."
The dark aura surrounding White whispered to her, "Yes. You would be the ruler. You would become all-powerful, all you need to do is kill those in your way and make your useless sibling's Gemaris your own."
White laughed with a crooked smile as she left to research more about all her sisters and brothers' weaknesses.
As White began to busy herself with her new goal, Black observed the now quite dangerous White from across the library, an evil smile stretching her cheeks.
"Don't worry White, your dearest sister will support you," she said with a twisted grin. "All you needed was a little push, after all," she mused as she stretched out her hand.
"It seems Dark corruption still works after all."
A dark aura manifested on her hand in the shape of a crystal. It was the curse that had altered White's mind.
"Though, I suppose I have to remove traces of the corruption," she chuckled and with a swipe of her hand, the corruption could not be seen visibly anymore on White's neck and gem.
Dark corruption is a spell that causes madness for those who are exposed to it. Especially those who were not in the right state of mind, making them do irrational things. It's a spell that Black could use to control people. Its ability was enough to manipulate even Gemaris who generally have high resistance to mind control.
"I would like to see how the Gemaris world falls, such wonderful and spicy entertainment." She paused, "This may be a good way to get rid of that pesky Golden Gemaris as well." Black Gemaris giggled, an evil smile forming.
Seeing her plan set in motion, Black simply disappeared into the shadows.
After that day, a brutal and bloody conflict began. It would become known by future generations as the Gemaris War.
