"Now I have nothing to show off to my new friend," Iris mumbled silently, feeling a pang of disappointment.
"Sir Isakawa, over here," a young man waved his hands at Isakawa and his family as he stood by a large black limousine.
Isakawa frowned, feeling suspicious, as someone stepped out of the limo. A tall middle-aged man in an expensive-looking purple suit adorned with beautiful gem carvings emerged. He waved at Isakawa and called out to him, sporting spiky green hair and a pair of brown eyes. His well-built, muscular frame towered at 6'5 feet tall.
"Hahaha, no need to be suspicious, Isakawa. I'm your cousin Riko, and I'm not planning anything suspicious," he confessed in his deep voice.
Isakawa scrutinized Riko closely, attempting to discern any signs of deception.
"Let's go in," Isakawa finally relented, allowing Riko's servant to handle their belongings.
As they entered the car and set off for the mansion.
"Sir," Sally hesitantly addressed Isakawa.
Isakawa raised his hand reassuringly. "Don't worry, he doesn't harbor any malicious intent toward us, and his aura shows no signs of hostility."
They journeyed to the mansion, where it became evident that Riko had arrived with his family. Seated beside him was a beautiful woman accompanied by two lovely girls.
"It's nice to see you again, Isakawa. This is my family," Riko greeted warmly, indicating the woman and the two girls.
Introducing them, Riko continued, "This is my wife, Sana," describing a fair, beautiful woman with short blonde hair and captivating blue eyes. She exuded elegance, dressed in a black holiday dress adorned with expensive jewelry.
"And these are my daughters, Krumi and Sheila," he added.
Krumi, slender and around 11 years old, boasted dark green hair like her father's and large, light blue eyes. She sported a black shirt and trousers paired with a white long jacket and white heels.
Sheila, around 9 years old, possessed long blonde hair tied into two pigtails and bright, intelligent green eyes. She wore a cute blue silk dress complemented by black boots.
"Hmm, father, why did you invite them here?" Krumi inquired, her arms crossed inquisitively.
She then cast a glance at Isakawa and his family, feeling her cheeks flush. 'Why are they all so beautiful?' she pondered to herself.
"Krumi, don't be so rude. I'm sure they didn't have a car," Riko scolded her, his expression stern.
"We actually did have a car, and we booked a hotel to stay for the coming days," Sally chimed in, a slight smugness evident in her demeanor as she adjusted her glasses.
"Well, actually, I wanted to be nice," Riko said nervously. "And the family is meeting together again. Isakawa, your looks are the same as ever, just an older version. Do you remember me from our family's former gatherings?"

"Yes, I do remember you. You were the chubby boy who couldn't stop eating," Isakawa reminisced with a smile.
"Hehehe, that's me," Riko sheepishly laughed.
"However, Riko, you do know what the family games are all about, right?" Isakawa inquired.
"I know..." Riko bit his lips, his fists clenched. "But if we don't play along with everyone else, they would consider executing our kids right in front of us."
"Those bastards," Krumi grumbled, her face flushed with rage. Despite Krumi being be a child, her intelligence was very clear.
"Daddy…," Iris called out, her eyes fixed on Isakawa, "What are the Subaru family games about?"
"Don't worry, Iris, I'll explain it to you later," Isakawa reassured her with a smile, patting her head gently.
Riko observed in amazement; he couldn't recall Isakawa displaying compassion to anyone before. He also pondered Isakawa's presence at the family games. Surely, it would expose his family to potential attacks.
"Isakawa, I want to ask, why are you attending the family games?" Riko inquired, his expression serious.
"I find no interest in these so-called family games. However, those bastards have been pestering me relentlessly and issued threats. I had no choice but to comply," Isakawa confessed, shrugging. He continued, "While I'm stronger than everyone in the Subaru household in terms of abilities, my father holds the power to make me a target of the Hero's Association. So, I must tread carefully."
"Attending the family games might appease him for a while, and I simply want to go. It's been too long since I've seen that old bastard's grumpy face," Isakawa added with a mischievous grin.
"Hmm, Isakawa, I have an idea…" Riko interjected, seizing the opportunity to propose a deal.
"What might that be?" Isakawa inquired, raising an eyebrow.
"Why not allow Krumi, Shelia, Iris, and that boy to form a party together and support each other throughout the family games?" Riko suggested.
"By the way, what's Iris's ability?" he inquired further.
"I won't say," Isakawa stated coldly.
"Alright," Riko conceded.
"What do you think, Iris?" Isakawa redirected his attention to his daughter, who had been engrossed in her iPad. Riko's query went unnoticed, leaving him inwardly disappointed but not surprised; he had expected as much from Isakawa.
"Oh, me? I have no problem with that, Daddy," Iris responded, setting aside her game.
"I do not agree," Tael interjected, crossing his arms defiantly.
Iris shot him a look that silently conveyed, 'Since when did you become my decision-maker?'
"Tael…!" Jennifer admonished him with a slight glare.
"I'll say what needs to be said. If her summons were to go berserk, these two girls would be in danger," Tael explained matter-of-factly.
Riko was taken aback. "Wow, your daughter is a summoner. That's impressive."
Isakawa regarded Tael with a smile, acknowledging the boy's observation, 'Hmmm good move Tael, covering up Iris's Ability and also warning us. I almost forgot about what happened the first day I met Iris. It would be a problem if that being appears again. And since I've taken off her Ability Restrictor, who knows what could happen when he's not with her.''
"But summons can't harm those whose masters command them not to," Riko chuckled, expressing disbelief.
Tael remained composed as he countered, "That theory doesn't apply universally. Iris's summons are different. If you aren't acknowledged as her friend, it will attack you with full killing intent."
Riko felt a chill run down his spine at Tael's words. While most summons were fiercely loyal to their masters, Tael's assertion hinted at an unprecedented level of danger associated with Iris's summons. Riko could only speculate on the truth of Tael's claim, placing his bet on Isakawa's daughter, Iris.
During his time in the Subaru household, Isakawa had been the strongest member in terms of Abilities, instilling fear in many family members and making himself a prime target for numerous assassination attempts. Despite their best efforts, none had succeeded. Recently, Iris had been targeted by assassins, all of whom met mysterious ends. The Subaru family had contributed their top assassins to eliminate Isakawa and abduct Iris, unaware that she had powers.
So it could be that Isakawa's daughter possessed abilities similar to his own. Making her a monster just like Isakawa.
This prompted Riko to send his daughters into the devil's den for protection. A proud grin appeared on Riko's face as he was sure this would work, a plan to protect his daughters.
"Why not have Krumi, Iris, and Sheila become friends?" Riko suggested, breaking the tense atmosphere.
"I don't mind at all," Iris responded with a radiant smile, turning to Isakawa with pleading eyes that conveyed, 'Daddy, this is my chance to make new friends.'
