Even though she may have been seen as an evil person, she still had a heart to care for others and love. She had friends in her Empire who were always good to her and did their best to help her. She could even imagine what happened to them.

Alka gritted her teeth and seethed, "Regals, how come I never heard of them. These Gemaris, why do they have so many secrets and powerful enemies? Dammit this is all too much for me to process," Alaska sighed as she looked up at the void world.

"Can I see the Gemaris I would be serving?" she asked politely.

A screen popped up in front of Alka, like a larger version of a television screen. On it, her Gemaris was displayed, so she could look at their appearance.

"So the Black Gemaris is this little girl, huh?" Alka muttered as she stared at the child on the wide screen displayed in front of her.

[✧The System can't clarify, but the System finds a strong resonance of the Black and Purple Gemaris Gem from her.]

"I see, two gems, from the memories I got it shouldn't be possible.”

b”But this child is… absolutely… ugly," Alka blurted out with a serious expression on her face. "Look at how chubby she is," Alka criticized Iris despite herself being slightly chubby. For her human beings looked ugly, "What's her name?"

"I never liked humans in the first place," she said with a dark expression on her face.

After Iris was done with breakfast she just went to her room to sleep some more, since she barely had anything to do. So then she just layed down on her bed and fell asleep.

Every night when she was asleep Iris dreamt of a voice that kept calling her. She would never see or know who they are, but all she can see is herself walking in endless darkness. Iris tried so hard to follow the voice, but she could never reach it.

"Ahhhhh, so I'm back to this place again," Iris complained as she could hear her voice echo through the endless darkness, "This is the third time again," she sighed.

"I need to find the light!!" Iris motivated herself.

"Hahahaha," a small but calm voice kept on laughing. "Hehe he he he."

Iris looked around nervously and asked, "Ummm hello is anyone there?" the same question she asked every time she came here, but there was always no response.

This time Iris started a full sprinting race to the voice, "1..,2..,...3 go," she yelled as she started running through the darkness. After a while of running, she stopped since she felt a little tired, but she noticed something unusual.

As Iris walked closer to it she saw a large dark room with those old-fashioned lights at each end of the room. The room was as big as the size of a park, with a lovely red carpet with beautiful engraving on it. In the middle of the room, a round table with lots of sweets and candy.

Iris became suspicious, so she walked up to the table filled with desserts and poked it to see if it was real. 'Okay seems real enough,' She thought to herself as it was warm. She then looked left and looked right, "yeah no one is here." So she immediately sat herself down and stuffed her mouth with the pastries.

"OMG, they are so delicious." Iris praised as she gulped down the parties, "And they taste too real to be just dreamland food!"

Iris was so busy that she didn't notice the person sitting in front of her.

"Hello Iris," a crooked voice called out to Iris as she suddenly felt cold. Iris then looked up to just see a shadowy figure. Its whole body was black and it used its white hollow eyes to look at her.

"So you're the little master huh? Do you know my name?" the being asked as it looked at Iris who was still munching on the cupcake she picked from the table.

Iris looked at her confused, "But I don't know your name, so could you please tell me? we could be friends…."

"Unfortunately, I'm unable to reveal her name due to some circumstances," the being stated a bit disappointed. "Also, I don't think we would need to be friends, not yet."

Iris looked at her and cried, "Whyyyy!??"

"What a cute, but ugly child?" the shadow being giggled as it started to sound more feminine.

The darkness started to brighten up a little and Iris could see a black shadow that was shaped like a tall woman, who stood before her with a dominating presence.

She came closer to her and held her face with a big grin on her face.

'Creepy.' Iris thought as she looked at the being.

"How cute," the being chuckled before letting go of Iris's face. "We can't talk much now, but at the right moment just call out to me and I'll come and help you."

"What do you mean?" Iris asked, confused.

"You don't need to know it's not time yet, so wake up Iris."

Iris felt and saw that her body started to fade away from the void as she said those words, "Just who is she?!"

Alka paced around the dark space and stumped her feet, "She can't see me... Dammit! If she did, she would be praising my beauty."

"If she can't see me then it means it's not time yet. System! what are the requirements for Iris to start her awakening."

"Well in my World no one actually ever calls me by my name, since whenever a normal person says it they die or a catastrophe happens around them. It's just like bad luck." Alka said with a sly smile.

In order for the Awakening to begin she needs to go through a near-death experience ] a purple screen materialized before Alka, causing her to stare at it a bit confused but gaining some memories of the former Black Gemaris Jewel, made her feel at ease since she knew it was the system.

Alka looked up at the purple screen before and asked. "That sounds too easy, are you sure?"

[ ✧It won't be easy since Iris has no concept of the feeling of death yet. It's your duty to help her with the Awakening. ]

Alka rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, "My duty huh? First I was brought here without my opinion, now I am to take care of some little brat. Also, how can I be sure she possesses the Black Gemaris Gem? I couldn't feel the energy from it when she came here!"

"And I had to use a lot of energy to bring her here every night, since I can't go to her and talk. She has to come to me because of some annoying restrictions." She yelled as she frowned.

"Wwwhhhhhaaaaatttttttt?!! No way and how are you the smart one when we both got the same job? This is not fair," Alka pouted as she rolled around on the ground acting like a child.

Alka got up and looked at the system, "Other Gemariss? They are alive?!"

However, the new generation has also received a connection to the System, but the system can't display that due to the low connection and restrictions. In addition, if Iris grows stronger the System shall also grow stronger. ]

"Oh so are there any more Jewels like me?" Alka asked in a demanding tone.

"That's good then," Alka beamed, 'I can't have Jewels who are stronger than me. But it doesn't mean the other Gemariss won't have Jewels too. Would they be friends or foe?'

*Groooowlllllll* a loud noise came from Alka's tummy interrupting her thoughts. She blushed in embarrassment.

"Well I can basically eat anything, but I prefer delicious food," she said with a calm expression.

The void turned into a large Dining Hall with a large lavish table with a black table cloth on it, with expensive-looking candles on each side. There was one chair at the end of the table and food started to appear on the table like magic. So many types of foods magically appeared on the table. Alka was just looking from a corner drooling as she rushed to the table.

"This is real right," she asked as she poked the large grilled turkey.

"You almost sound like a living being saying that," Alka laughed.

Alka started to eat the food like a hungry bear that hasn't eaten for months. As a dignified lady, one would expect her to be eating like a lady, rather she eats like a wild animal.

The System could do nothing, but just nervously watch the new Jewel eat in an untidy way.

"This is why I live!!" Alka said with a mouthful of food as tears of joy ran down her face.
