The woman with the thin blade is able to dodge the corpse that came flying at her. The frozen body shatters against the apartment wall, creating a dented crater. Though she is able to dodge, her footing is unsteady. She is distracted by her unsteadiness for just a moment, trying to regain her balance.
Once she fixes this issue and feels her feet on solid ground, she feels someone is suddenly tackling her.
The wind is knocked out of her and her ribcage shatters. For a second, her feet leave the ground as she sails through the air backwards to where Orin is waiting in preparation. She sees Orin's gritted teeth to his left before landing on the ground, her skull shattering upon impact. She doesn't even notice that her gut, hips and legs are frozen solid now.
Though she and her compatriots are all hardened fighters, they have not received enough real world fighting experience to succeed today it seems. Furthermore, none of them have experience attempting to fight a monster that can continuously heal their injuries or freeze them with a mere touch and no incantations.
Such power is the realm of nobility.
Ajax had used his tackle to absorb as much of the woman’s warmth as he could before she flew away from his grasp. She landed with her upper half relatively intact while her body below her solar plexus was smashed into a pile of ice shards.
There are two people left as well as Orin. Ajax sees Orin and rushes towards him. He’s just a few paces away. He has to just reach him before the bomb goes off. He’s so close!
Orin however is unfazed still, his expression cold.
Ajax feels a dagger enter his back, right into his spine. His body crumples to the ground, his head facing the ground. He can still move his arms but his legs have become useless now.
Wh-What just… I… I can’t move my legs. I can’t feel my legs!
Ajax feels like panicking. He has never felt the pain in his back ever before as well as the lack of sensation in his lower body. He had already lost the ability to feel temperature so he’s always worried about losing other sensations.
He worries for a second that this is the end for him. His lower body has become useless now. There is no guarantee that he can heal from this kind of injury. Still, he uses his left arm to remove the dagger from his back.

The pain of the dagger leaving all of his spinal column nerves is an uncompromising pain. It might have made others pass out right away but Ajax could not do so even if he wanted to. His mind is resilient enough for him to be conscious through this pain.
He forgets Orin and looks backwards towards two people, a man and woman.
They were struggling with the frozen corpses he had thrown at them, but now they're free. They see shattered corpses everywhere in front of them. The sight of the other woman of their group with her lower half smashed and her upper half completely lifeless fills both of them with fear.
But, they know what they must do. They're so close to the finish line. They have to buy just a little more time for Orin. Even if it means accepting the rage of the monster before them. They just don't understand it. He had been stabbed, he had been cut apart, he had even lost movement in his legs from his spine being pierced.
How could he still be like this?
How could he be alive? They didn't feel he used any magic at all on himself. He has no mana of course but they hadn't seen a hand sign or heard even the whisper of an incantation. They couldn't even believe that someone as angry as this man could bring his mind together enough to cast a spell even if he knew how to cast.
The two of them had never heard of an artifact that could heal injuries like the ones that he had just faced either. They knew about the heroic nobles. They knew about what they were capable of.
This was not them, this was somehow higher than them. This was something that perhaps the crawler usurpers were capable of, or perhaps the dragons with their unending vitality could manage this. At minimum, the man in front of them could be a Wyvern king wearing a human form.
The man and woman know that they have no chance to defeat him. They are nothing but fodder. He will kill them.
The one chance that they might have had was to aim for his head or the upper half of his spine to prevent him from using his arms to pull out their weapon. But, the man who threw his dagger was not so foolish as to risk missing a shot to the head when his back was available. He had not even expected to land it directly onto his spinal column, it was a miracle.
As well as his ticket to the true heaven.
The way the Abnormal is looking between the two of them, they know that he has decided to kill them instead of ignoring them. A human as powerful as him. What could humanity gain if he was on their side? What could the Twin Moons have gotten if he wasn't so…
Ajax rushes towards the man first. The man had thrown the knife into Ajax's back. He has another sharp throwing dagger with him as well. He tries to throw it again at Ajax's head but before the knife can even leave his hand, Ajax reaches him and grabs him by the face, freezing him solid.
His body turns to an ice statue and he breaks off the man's head from his neck, minimal effort involved.
