"Give me the best food and drink you have." Leon took the drink glass that the Innkeeper had given him earlier and drank it in one gulp.
Even though he had many worries and was always alert in everything after arriving in this world, Leon was not a person limited by fear. In his old world, he was a crazy person who climbed Mount Everest alone without complete equipment. At that time, he would have died if it weren't for being found by the person who would become his friend, Alex.
If it weren't for John accompanying him to swim, Leon would have died when he explored the underwater cave in the past. John even swore that he had never seen someone as crazy as Leon who without hesitation split up with the group just because he saw a new, unknown species of sea coral.
When found, Leon was found surviving in a cramped space while continuously giving clues to where he was. The same thing happened to the friends Leon met when they traveled together.
When they were asked what stood out the most about Leon, everyone would agree on one thing.
"Leon is not a timid person. As long as he sees that there is something that can attract his attention, in an instant he will go there without hesitation."
Everyone is sure of this. Especially Alex, who often accompanies him because the two of them often travel together. Therefore, he suffered the most when he was with him.
On one of his second trips, he was asked about Leon. Alex answered by slightly raising his voice.
"Hell, he would even jump into a volcanic crater just because he felt attracted to sulfur miners. The person suddenly disappeared at 9 pm and returned in the morning carrying 15 KG of sulfur on his shoulders."
"You know what? I'm not even surprised anymore. All the crazy things he does could kill him at any time and he always comes back again and again."
That was Alex's comment in the past when Leon's actions went viral on social media.
Right now there was no point in thinking about that. Being afraid and alert about everything is good, especially in this world. But letting fear limit him was not in Leon's dictionary.
If he could kill me, why beat around the bush like this? If he didn't kill me, why be their enemy?
The Innkeeper took the menu and sent it to the kitchen. After a while, he returned to Leon.
"Oh sir, I forgot to tell you that there is one rule that must be obeyed inside the Midnight Inn. Here, you can only use a Codename. We really value the privacy and identity of our guests so these rules were made by 'Him'."
"Sure, you can say your Codename to the outside world. If you need me to change your Codename, then don't hesitate to tell me."
"You can decide for yourself or you can let us decide. It's all up to you."
Leon who heard it didn't really care. He just waved his hand at the Innkeeper and let him choose it.
The Innkeeper was silent for a moment while looking at Leon. Many ideas came to mind when he saw Leon.
But among all the options that appeared in his head, one suited Leon the most. While taking out a card, Leon's figure is currently printed on the card. "What about Error? I feel like that describes my first impression of you."
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
"Do what you want." Leon agreed without much comment. The Innkeeper gave him a card that had his picture printed on it with Error written in the middle of the bottom of the card.
Leon went and sat at one of the nearby tables. He looked at the people who were still engrossed in chatting with each other without caring what secrets they were saying. Leon of course listened to everything they said without missing a beat.
The information they said was very interesting and helped Leon understand this world better.
Some people prefer to sit alone while enjoying Inn food or drinking in peace.
He didn't have to wait long before a faceless woman came with food to Leon. She doesn't look like a living creature because her body looks like a doll that is connected one by one.
The doll laid out some appetizing-looking dishes. Leon ate the dishes served to him slowly while enjoying all this.
"This is truly extraordinary. It looks similar to Beef Wellington, but the taste will really make Ramsey beg to learn from this guy." Leon praised while enjoying how rich the taste of the meat he had eaten was. This meat was so soft and tender that it beat the taste of any A5 wagyu he had ever eaten.
It was like the meat would melt in his mouth and let all the flavors fill his body. It's almost like Ecstasy in that it can make a person addicted.
Even drugs cannot reach this stage.
Leon enjoyed all the food served without realizing that people were slowly starting to see him. They subconsciously swallowed their saliva when they saw Leon eating the piece of meat and putting it in his mouth.
Leon might not know, but what he had just enjoyed was luxury items of the highest class inside the Midnight inn. Naturally, the taste would be completely different from everything else in this place.
Of course, there will be no other benefits apart from the delicious taste. Leon, who enjoyed it, was a little disappointed because he didn't find this strange Troupe that often appeared in the novels that Chen often told.
The only Absolute advantage that this food has is the incomparable delicious taste and strange satisfaction that arises after eating it.
Midnight Inn is not a place to train and improve strength. Don't expect more and expect something strange because it doesn't match the image and goals of the owner of Midnight Inn.
Everyone invited knew this and didn't mind it too much. Heck, they don't even care as long as they can enjoy the food and drink a few glasses to enjoy the comfortable atmosphere here.
"How rich do you think that person is? As far as I remember, that meal could cost half the wealth of the Pendragon Kingdom in just one portion." one of the four asked. He is called the Duke Of Compassion.
"Probably very rich. You can see He ordered it at the same time as Spring of Pink Peach. Forget it, he was here for the first time and already spent so much money." The Duke of Violence replied while enjoying
"Don't say too much about the people in this place. Let them enjoy what they want. Besides, there won't be any problems as long as you don't offend the people here." Duke of Hall added.
They already knew that the people allowed as guests of the Midnight Inn were not simple people.
Even between them, no one knows each other's identity. They just sat and talked to each other without fear of problems and didn't talk much about important things.
"I'll take a look, honestly, I'm quite curious." One of them stood up and headed towards Leon.
He saw a man with a plain white mask whose entire body was covered in an inexplicable black mist. Calling him a man might be a little strange because he couldn't see the gender of the man in front of him.
"Can I sit here?"
Leon didn't answer because he was enjoying a bit of the Spring of Pink Peach. A tingling sweetness and inexplicable satisfaction filled him. This made him dazed for a while before Leon came back to his senses.
He looked at the man who asked him. "Please, you can make yourself comfortable."
The man immediately sat down. Leon saw a man with an ordinary face that looked slightly distorted in old iron armor like a soldier who had just returned from a bloody battlefield. His body looked exhausted from the battle and he could barely move an inch.
Of course, this is just a disguise brought by Midnight Inn. The man began to introduce himself. "You can call me The Soldier."
"The Soldier? Your code name is quite unique for someone living in a world full of magic."
The Soldier seemed to laugh when he heard that. "Everyone says that. Actually, this is not my first code name. I was forced to replace it for some reason in the past."
Leon nodded and didn't ask further. He took a small sip of Spring of Pink Peach and also started talking.
"I am a new guest from Midnight inn. For my code name, Midnight Inn refers to me as…"
"Mr. Error."
