Currently, I was making sure that the dragon veins don't have any mana leakage thanks to the still unstable mana. If there were any leaks it would cause all animals to go through instantaneous and spontaneous mana-evolution. However, that wasn’t what made this so dangerous. It would also cause them to go mad and attack anything they see. With how the humans are prepared for something like this, which means absolutely unprepared, it would only cause a lot of chaos and casualties.

Suddenly a black figure with no clear form appeared before me. I wasn't surprised though. I knew him after all.

"You sure are working hard. I thought I would see you lazing around like you did back then.“

"It’s you, huh. What do you want? You can see that I am busy right now.“

" Tell me, why can I feel their presence. They are supposed to be completely extinct. So why can I feel the presence of one of them?“

Sigh, I knew it wouldn’t be possible to hide it from him. They are his chosen race after all, though I did not expect him to notice it immediately.

"When I erased them, I decided that if I was to give them another chance I didn’t want to have to reconstruct them, especially since that would create an imperfect being, so I decided to seal their heritage in the bloodline of some humans. I thought that since this is the closest to an actual restart that we’ll ever get, this would be the best chance to give them another chance.“

He nodded at that.

"Then why is it so weak? Even the newborns of back then had stronger presences.“

"Do you really think that their heritage, over all this time, remained complete? Especially since the seal went so long without any mana supply. It is a miracle in the first place that it lasted so long.“

"So you’re saying that parts of it were lost. So now she is an incomplete version.“

She currently has the options to either regain what was lost or to become something new that only shares some parts with them. And remember, I will not allow you to interfere with her. "And, is she alone? I can feel some other reactions but they are basically nonexistent.“

"She has some siblings, but they didn’t have enough of their heritage in them remaining to awaken it even partially.“

Satisfied, he turned around to leave.

"I’m serious. Do not interfere. Do not tell anyone about this and do not forget what I am capable of. Her race deserves a new, fresh start.“

He turned his head and looked at me for a bit.

" I know. I couldn’t forget even if I wanted to.“

He quickly disappeared and I was left alone in my realm.

"Phew, ok that’s that. Now, what was I doing again? Ah right, the dragon veins.“

I quickly focused on the dragon veins again. Only to notice that what I have feared has already, happened.

A large amount of mana leaked from a dragon vein in the country called Germany.

"The location is… near Stuttgart. That is a bit away from her so hopefully, she won’t get involved."

"What do you mean 2 and a half days aren’t that long? That is way too long.“

"Well considering what happened to you, I would say that it was to be expected. Besides the doctor, we called over said that as far as she can tell you are perfectly fine.“

Ohh I’d like to see her face if she sees my battle form. Cuz‘ that form is not cute at all.

"Not like I want to be cute,“

I mumbled to myself so she didn’t hear it.

"Did something happen while I was unconsciousness?“

"Mmhh not really. Oh right, yesterday They said that starting today people should return to their normal jobs. That is the only thing worth noting.“

"Then what did you tell my school what happened to me. Also how come you are home. Judging by the sun, it is still early noon, probably.“

"Well, we simply told them that you needed one more day to get accustomed to your changes. They accepted that so it‘s no problem. And if I wasn't home then who would take care of you while you are unconsciousness. Our mother isn't him yet, though she is on the way to finally return. They sure kept her there for quite long."

Mother, huh? One of the few persons who have absolutely no problem to know what I think. She also is the only person I ever speak to concerning what's troubling me.

"Then that means tomorrow I will have to go to school."

I wonder how things will turn out in my class from now on. Hopefully, it won't turn out to be too strange.

Before any of us could say anything else we were interrupted by a loud growling.

"Pfwahahahahaha I see that you are hungry huh?"

My stomach growled as loud as it possibly could. 

I nodded, but why is she laughing. A growling stomach is nothing strange after all.

I was about to get up when I noticed that aside from underwear I was wearing nothing else. However what bothered me even more was that I was even wearing a piece of underwear that I normally don't wear. 

"Maria, did you put this bra on me?"

"Of course I did. It's something you will have to get used to and since you are normally just rejecting it I used this chance to get you used to it."

"Are you serious? Why are you even so persistent about it?"

"Because I don't want my little brother, who turned into a little sister to have problems with future development."

Seriously? I just stared at her and then shook my head while sighing.

If she wants it so much I can hardly just say no. Though I will try to avoid using it too much. It just distracts and bothers me to have something like this strapped to my chest.

"Ah, this reminds me that the clothes you wore while changing your forms are no longer usable. You shredded them into pieces while doing it after all."

"Then, are the clothes you gave me on the first day washed? If so then I can wear them again and we won't have to look for something else."

"Yeah, they should be. Wait let me get them."

My sister went out of the room and downstairs. Shortly after she returned with the sleeveless white shirt and the black skirt. 

I quickly put them on. This time around I could do so alone. I no longer have claws that would shred them to pieces after all. Though my nails look like they are a bit more durable and sharper than normal ones.

After I put on the clothes, we went downstairs. 

After looking through what our kitchen had to offer, I decided on some blood sausage and ham. 

I decided to eat in the living room so that I can watch some TV while eating.

While watching TV and eating, I had some small talk with my sister who accompanied me.

I finished my meal and was just about to put away the dishes and remaining foodstuff when...

"We interrupt the current program with breaking news. Since half an hour already have there been reports about strange looking animals as well as animals that are way out of proportion near and in Stuttgart. It has also been reported that these animals are extremely aggressive. Kelly is in the heart of Stuttgart to report. Kelly.

"Thank you John. The current situation is quite dire. Animals of all kinds have been sighted and reported. All of these reported animals are way bigger than they normally would be and sometimes can barely be associated with any known animals. This wouldn't be too much of a problem if it wasn't for their aggressiveness. The hospitals here in Stuttgart are already full of injured people. And many of them are in serious condition. However, there have been no reports of casualties as of yet. Hey, what's that? 

"Look out it's coming!"

"Argh, my leg!"

"Come here you beast!"

The scene switched back to the man in the studio.

"It appears that the team has faced some difficulties. The authorities have already warned that civilian to not get close to Stuttgart. People living close to it also should consider evacuating. This is all the information we have at the moment. This is John of the Tagesschau."

The TV switched back the normal program but I immediately turned it off.

"H-hey what do you think is going on there."

I asked my sister as I was seriously confused.

"I don't know. But I do know that there is not much we can do. Let's just hope that mom is already out of there."

My sister also had a worried face. 

"Yeah l, let's hope." 

After this incident, I was slightly depressed because of my worry.

I returned to my room and tried to calm down, albeit without success.

I passed the time somehow with surfing on the internet and looking for more information but didn't find anything useful. 

Evening arrived without me even noticing. When we had dinner the mood also was depressed. They asked me how I was and such things but it was more out of courtesy. My father and my brother were just too worried about mom as she had not arrived yet and we also got no news from her. She also wasn't responding to her phone.

At the end of the day, we all went to bed without knowing anything feeling worried and depressed.
