He appeared right in front of them in a flash, with clenched fists and a furious glare. With a wave of his hand, he appeared to have used a strange magical tool to teleport them into the arranged crowd of students nearer to the center of the formation, with a strange power covering the entirety of the surface of their skin.
Anna instinctively tried to resist, but she found herself unable to escape the grasp of the strange force surrounding her body. While the major reason she was unable to resist was the pain from her damaged soul, the fact that even her peak demigod-level raw strength couldn’t break the magical constriction on her body surprised her.
Noel also seemed to be surprised by this as he mumbled in an intrigued voice, “It’s raw kinetic energy.”
“Raw kinetic energy?” Anna immediately understood what Noel meant as her knowledge of magic had undergone extreme development with her contract with the world spirit, so she took another glance at the wrapper of kinetic energy covering her body with an enlightened gaze.
Spells like this, where mana is used to produce a constant stream of kinetic energy to telekinetically lift objects from a distance and stuff like that, are fundamentally still just mana acting as a sort of solid kinetic mass. The one on her body, on the other hand, was just pure kinetic energy that wrapped her whole body inch by inch with such fine control and precision.
With her estimates, even a royal mage would find it hard to escape the grasp of this kinetic wrapper with its ingenious method, since without any mana to hold onto and disrupt the spell, it would take them a lot more effort to disrupt the kinetic energy wrapping around them and escape free of its grasp.
Of course, she can do something similar by using certain spirits, but the mere fact Rob was able to do this, at such a large scale of what appeared to be nearly a hundred students is just astounding.
Every single one of them, the students in this unified array or formation, moved rhythmically along the tunes of the background music, with their movements mimicking the mannequin-like golem at the front of the group at a hundred percent accuracy.
This was another spell Anna recognized, a bodily control type of spell where you wrap a target’s body in a soft wrapper of mana and control their limbs like a doll. Since you’re just softly controlling them, they can still proactively move alongside your control to hasten their learning speed on certain moves, for example, swordsmanship, martial arts, or even dancing!
For people of high society, this spell is invaluable in learning various dances that one needs to learn and display on various occasions like balls or parties. Anna didn’t really care much about those events even before she regained her past life’s memories, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t learn them.
Hence, she habitually moved alongside the careful guidance of Rob and clasped Noel’s hands, just like everyone else holding hands with their partners, and twirled and swirled in a dazzling fashion of magically enhanced dancing.
The two didn’t complain as their unnatural level of understanding with each other, alongside their prior closeness, allowed them to smoothly integrate into the group without much issue. The other students who had been practicing their asses off for two weeks silently heaved a sigh of relief upon seeing them adapting well to the situation and didn’t mess up the flow of the whole crowd.
As they danced and twirled, flew up to the sky and jumped around, magical illusions and pazzazz exploded in the air like glittering stars or colorful fireworks. As the dance segment slowly came to a close, the students regained control over their bodies and released groans and moans one after the other.
“Okay, nice work everyone!” Rob clapped his hands and snapped his fingers, which then summoned a strange bottle of yellow liquid along with a sandwich to each student in the big room.
Anna glanced at the yellow potion disguised as a normal drink, and the sandwich in her hand, before taking a strange look at Rob.
He appeared rather pleased as he landed right in front of the two, which then caused them to shift from the big hall into their normal classroom.
“Okay, before you ask, yes, I know what happened.” Rob raised his hand and raised his index finger, motioning for the two of them, especially Anna, to stay silent. “Second of all, I’m still annoyed with you two, but at least you two seemed to take the dance in stride.”
“I assume Nuela forgot to explain what is happening to you two right now with your confused stares and such, so let me give you guys a quick rundown.” Rob clapped his hands and the blackboard behind him released pulsating waves like the surface of a pond to reveal an illusory scene.
“First, Great Cataclysm happened, shit happened at school and we got some investigators snooping around and bla bla bla. Things happened and it was then revealed to us, while you two were gone, that we actually have an upcoming event at the end of this month and we would have started a month ago, but it got delayed because of the investigators and stuff.”

“Because of that, we have less than the allotted time and we only got four weeks to practice and prepare for the grand fiesta of summer two weeks from now. It’s basically a Summer Festival for a festive send-off for us before we leave for the summer break.”
“Unfortunately for me, I got picked as the main organizer along with some upperclassmen, so now I gotta work my ass off preparing for all kinds of shit and taking care of all first years, but that doesn’t matter to you two. What does matter is you guys gotta quickly catch up with the list of events going to happen, like the games and stuff, and also the most important part of the whole shmuck.”
Rob’s grin widened. “The dance!”
“The dance! Since every class has half boy half girl population, each of us gets a partner I picked at random… maybe~ Who knows, maybe I did a little nudging here and there for a little spice, don’t tell anyone I did this by the way. Okay, so yeah, you and your partner gotta master the dance and prepare for some other wacky stuff like displaying your magical expertise to guesses and stuff, typical magic academy showing off its magic stuff.”
“And yada yada yada, we also got some bands and musics, it’s just gonna be a big big event. You guys understand?” Rob exhaled loudly and crossed his arms.
“Yeah?” Anna answered hesitantly.
“Mmm.” Noel nodded his head.
“GOOD! Now Nuela will explain this all to you later since she was the one who took care of you two the most, so bye!” Rob snapped his fingers, and the two reappeared back in the big wide hall.
The two gave a silent stare at each other as Noel murmured, “A pocket dimension… To think he created one himself.”
“That’s… really impressive.” Anna glanced at Rob who returned to floating all around the sky with a peculiar glint flashing in her colorful eyes.
“Oh, hey! You two are back!” Nuela quickly approached the two as soon as she noticed them and waved her hand for a hello.
Waving back at her, Anna smiled and said, “So, Rob said you’re going to explain stuff for us I presume?”
“Oh yeah, I forgot to do that yesterday, but I was just so curious since you can also see the spirits like me!” Nuela chuckled wryly. “But anyways, according to…”
As Nuela softly spoke and explained things to them, Anna’s eyes flashed for a moment and her entire vision shifted, going from looking at Nuela’s smiling face to an empty black void with a pulsating mass of colorful lights glowing brightly in the center of everything else.
The colorful light appeared damaged though, with a small crack going from the top of its body down to its center in a zigzagging manner, which then released a faint stream of white light into the void.
Staring at it curiously, Anna cleared her throat and hastily asked, “What was that?”
“What was what?” Tyr asked, its voice more humane compared to the last time it spoke with Anna, but It also sounded weak and lacked energy.
“You know what I mean!” Anna crossed her arms. “Rob being the main organizer… that’s supposed to be Kain’s job! And also, why do I get the feeling you’re planning on doing something without my knowledge?”
“It’s nothing much,” Tyr said softly as its body continuously pulsated in differing intensities of light. “Just think of it as proactive change, a backup plan if you will in case I needed to make another deal with God.”
“Oh yes, God. I also forgot to ask this, but why does God not just help us directly? Aren’t they the pinnacle of goodness?” Anna asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Hah! Do you really think a being as strong and as wise as God would give help to someone else selflessly?” Tyr laughed helplessly. “But don’t worry too much about it. I’d have enough resources for this backup plan if I ever need to do it since I’ll just be transferring God’s blessing from one person to another.”
“God’s blessing?” Anna blinked her eyes in confusion.
“Gods, spiritual beings with unfathomable power, the ones you read in those myths of yours like Buddha, Odin, Sun Wukong… they all exist! Unfortunately, they’re currently all occupied for unknown reasons and I don’t have the luxury to receive their support.” Tyr sighed. “At least I still have that one blessing from God and Buddha.”
“Wait, someone has Buddha’s blessing here?” Anna asked with a shocked face.
“Yes, and they’re doing quite nicely. If that plan of theirs succeeded, the overall strength of the empire would elevate to another level and knights would enter a golden age! Perhaps in that time frame, I’ll be able to create another champion that can fend off the descent of the Demon Lord.”
“I assume you can’t share the details because it would mess with fate?” Anna rubbed her head with an annoyed look.
“Yes,” Tyr answered bluntly.
“Okay, fine.” Anna placed her arms on her waist and leaned to the side. “You have some plans for Rob, and the blessing of God or whatever that is might be transferred soon, and someone has Buddha’s blessing in this world… Wait, what are even the prerequisites for transferring a blessing? What even are blessings? What do they do?”
Tyr remained silent, pulsating in the center of the black void in a stream of colorful lights.
Groaning again, Anna swept back her hair and murmured, “Fine, don’t tell me anything. I just needed some time to plan things out anyway.”
“First, I’ll have to heal my soul before doing anything. Next is to also allow Noel to catch up with my strength and refine my skills… just like what Mammon said. I also have to find a way to deal with his annoying ability to delete information from the world.”
“Wait, has he already tampered with my memories? No, that shouldn’t be possible because of the power of the world spirit… But deleting information from the world itself… Argh, it’s just another big mess to think about!”
“Fine, I’ll ignore that for now. The big issue I have to solve for now is Noel’s strength. He’s destined to become one of the strongest beings in the world just like any other male lead in the story, so those are five champions whose strength is just waiting to blossom. There’s also me, and Holly, and potentially Rob.”
“There’s also the Holy Church and the pope, the Elves, the Mermens, the beastmen…”
“Lance is already well on his way to becoming stronger, Rhett is also training himself well, Kain is doing fine, Noel… Is there any quick way he can get stronger to the point he can become a Demigod in one swift…”
“Wait a minute… the dragon!” Anna’s eyes widened with the sudden revelation. “The dragon… that’s the key to Noel’s strength…”
“Fuu… Okay, I’ll plan things after we deal with the dragon. For now, the main priority is the dance while looking out for more information regarding Mammon, Golden Clover, Grim Hallow, and the events ongoing in the Southern Continent.”
Taking a deep breath, Anna felt herself gain a newfound sense of confidence as she clenched her fists tightly.
“Just you wait Mammon, I’ll definitely win and live a life of unbridled freedom!”
