6. To The Other World

Isaac lay on a hard flat surface. His eyes were closed; contemplating about his decisions. Isaac didn’t know where he was, but he could feel absolutely nothing but the floor using the abilities he had honed for years.

There were no walls nor roof, Isaac was confused and cautious. He wondered whether to open his eyes or just to let it be. But either way, he couldn’t be that comfortable in a world he didn’t know.

But thinking back on what had already happened, Isaac knew that he wouldn’t really be in much of a problem. Someone who created the sentient System wouldn’t make it so self-aware if all it did was kill him. The person was either a God or just a really dedicated enemy.

Isaac finally made his decision and opened his eyes. A white figure with no eyes or any features; it was basically a blank mannequin. It looked down at him. For the first time in his entire life, he was so surprised his heart started to beat fast.

After gaining max stats on perception, he could always feel the presence of anyone, well at least if they weren’t on the same level as him. But no one could be that close to him without even a single hint of presence.

[Good Morning!]

The white figure said; having the same voice as the System. Isaac hurriedly calmed his heart and stared at the white figure. “So I would assume that you are the part of the System that would explain to me everything,” Isaac asked.

[Nope!]

[Stand Up, You’re Hurting My Back]

The white figure said. He straightened his posture, leaving Isaac surprised. So I was really lied to? What is going on here? Isaac thought. But he doesn’t really need to be that cautious anymore.

Isaac was lying down on a black marble floor; shining and reflecting his body, though the white figure wasn’t reflected on the ground.

The sky was plain black and so were the sides, it was an infinite space that went on with no end that Isaac could see. I’m dead. That was the only thing Isaac could land on, there was no such place on earth, nor a dungeon ever reported to have infinite space.

“Then who are you?” Isaac asked.

[Well If You Are Being Cautious Because I Am Not Who You Were Promised.]

[But Don’t Worry, I Just Came Here Because I Got Impatient Waiting For Reports.]

[So I Came Here Myself.]

It didn’t need even a second for Isaac to understand everything, and to act like it was his instinct, “So you’re the System?” Isaac said in the form of a question; still having doubts.

[Bingo!]

[I Am The Almighty System!]

[The One Who Governs All!]

[I Am A God!]

A mouth appeared on the white figure’s face; smiling.

“If you are a God, by definition, why do you need my help?” Isaac asked. He finally stood from the floor and sat.

[Oh Little Boy!]

[I Know Everything About Earth!]

[So If You Think I Am Some Fallen God Asking You For Help To Regain My Powers.]

[Fret Not My Child, But I Am The All-Powerful God!]

[Nothing Is Above Me! Only Ants Lay On My Feet!]

The entire area magically changed. As the white figure enlarged itself, leaving Isaac in the middle of the white figure’s fingers; on his feet, making a literary piece of his statement.

The white figure lowered its body and moved its enlarged face only a meter off Isaac. A huge gust of wind came after, pummeling Isaac to the ground.

[I Watch All Humans Every Single Day!]

A single eye appeared on the white figure, its black pupils reflected Isaac’s tiny presence. The eyes blinked; making an abstract scene.

[Don’t Worry!]

[You’re Not Going To Be On An Adventure To Save Me!]

[No! No!]

[You Only Have To Do One Thing!]

The white figure’s eyes disappeared. It slowly stood up, releasing a huge gust of wind; blowing Isaac away.

His body flung into the air, he then immediately stopped as the white figure’s hands lifted from his waste. It raised its pointer finger and retracted it back, pushing Isaac toward the white figure.

[All You Have To Do…]

The white figure opened his palm; placing it under Isaac. He floated in the air, facing the white figure.

The face in front of him lay as large as the sun.

[Is To Become The Most Evil Boss In History!]

The white figure's body transitioned to multiple shades of red and black. Its body glitched over and over again. Isaac’s body started to spin in circles, making him lose consciousness and giving pain outside and inside of his head.

The white figure then became bloated at some parts of its body till it exploded into many rays of red light.

The grip on Isaac disappeared, dropping him face-first to the ground.

Laying on the floor, staring at the black marble, Isaac stretched his body upward and raised his head to face a giant throne.

Looking immediately to his sides lay many pillars, and behind him was a giant pedestal with an orb on top of it.

Ok, that really didn’t explain anything to me. Confused in his situation, and placed in a room suddenly with no further explanation, Isaac walked towards the pedestal, thinking it had more information than any part of the room.

The chamber stretched far to a door at the end of a giant hall. Isaac didn’t pay much attention to it for now, he just moved closer to the pedestal which looked far bigger than him.

It didn’t take long till he noticed something was wrong. It was either he had turned slow or that the world had turned much larger than him.

Just one look down to his feet, Isaac screamed. “Whaaat!” He yelled then another came immediately after. “Ahhh!” Another yell of fear and another one came just right after. “Oh, my System!!!!”.

Isaac’s voice sounded like that of a high-pitched child. And other than that, his legs were red. One look at his hands, it was red. He looked much lower and It’s gone! Even his chest and legs were red.

One look to the edge, a floating black spike peaked slightly over. With a fast dash to his back, a tiny piece of a wing, and a tail revealed themselves.

Isaac tried to raise his hands to reach the top of his head. But with his tiny arms, he could not even reach above his nose. What the fuck have I become?! He screamed in his head.

No! No! No! This can’t be! I can’t be a demon! And a baby at that! And what happened go my thing! It’s gone! What is this! Get me back on my planet! You cursed System!

It wasn’t the first time in his life, but it certainly is one of the most impactful… Isaac was in full panic.

Not knowing what had just happened to him, turning into a baby demon; making the world look bigger. Having a tail, then wings? Maybe even a potential set of horns once he gets some reflection.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

These damned black marbles are not giving me reflection! What is this! Not marble! Isaac looked at the giant pillars across him, reflecting the tiny form of his body. That’s made from the same material and that reflects! And what the fuck am I! I’m way too ugly!

Without even noticing it himself, Isaac started to use profanity more and more. Ever since he got into his, he restricted himself to only ever cursing at dangerous situations, but at that moment something deep into his subconsciousness flicked.

I don’t give a shit on what I need to do! I’m getting the fuck out of this situation!

“Status Screen.” Thinking about who even sent him to such a place, it would have been obvious that he would still have the system.

A huge screen containing much information appeared in front of Isaac. He was surprised by the amount of new content he had never even seen before. But at the same time, Isaac couldn’t help but feel excitement like the first time he made a sketchbook on how to raid his first dungeon.

[Race: Baby Demon[Magician]]

A race, interesting, there had never been an indication in the system about me previously being a human. But this is quite irritating, so I am a fucking baby, you son of a bitch System, what have you turned me into. “Magician”... that… is interesting, I still have the same class I had before, which, you know what, has a special place in my heart. But as a demon, I can finally use magic! My time studying magic so I could stand against my enemies is finally bearing fruit! Wait, I never studied how to use it though… oh well, being a pioneer also feels amazing.

[Level: 1]

I am also back to level one, but it won’t be that sad to start from the beginning again, just being a demon gives me lots of potential for stronger abilities.

[Fate: 0]

[Free Stat: 20]

Well, all my stats are back to 1, expected, and also welcoming, though what is this “Fate Stat”? It’s the first time I have ever seen a stat that starts with 0, the only ones I could think of are class advancement, but I don’t even have it right now.

Hmm… Isaac tried to click on the Fate stat to try and add a stat into it. It doesn’t have a plus on it either, interesting, Gods may exist in this world… now that’s something. Isaac smiled, having the urge to yell something from the inside of his heart; he held it in, for the better of himself.

[Basic Spells][Lvl. 1]

[Flight][Lvl. 1]

[Magic Sensitivity][Lvl. 1]

[Mana Permanence][Lvl. 1]

Isaac already noticed the amount of new skills he had gained. He had tried to avoid it as he looked at his stats from the top to down, but now that he had reached it, he swallowed his saliva and swallowed again and again. Isaac’s heart was thumping, he had lived 40 years of his entire life never being able to use any type of magic other than presence-erasing ones.

The only people who could ever sympathize with him are people who have some specific Production classes, but either way, they could still feel the essence of magic other than just a skill that uses mana.

I… I could die right now. Isaac started to tear up. He raised his hand to try and remove his tears, but his short hands still couldn’t reach his eyes, though he just shoved it off as that shouldn’t ruin his current mood.

Basic Spells… I could use magic… ahhh!!!! I could turn into a woman celebrating her birthday with her friends! I could even scream like when I killed them!!! Ahhhh!!!!! Seriously! I can’t! Isaac’s body shook, if his body wasn’t already colored red, his face would be filled with a dash of pink blush.

And I could even fly! Though I don’t really know how to move my wings yet, there… are some muscles… that I could feel that I could move. Isaac’s wings violently flapped, hitting him in the face and injuring him, causing blood to drip out of his cheeks. Uhh… well that hurts, but hey! My mental pain tolerance has passed through, even to a new body! Isaac celebrated. Slowly his injury was masked by magical sparks causing his open wound to close, and even his blood disappeared.

Wait, my injury… Isaac reached into his cheek, caressing it. It’s healed… there’s not even any blood! Oh, my System! Wow, so, wow, wow…

Isaac moves on to the others before his mind gets blown over his unbelievable circumstances.

[Otherworlder(Special)]

[First Ruler(Legendary)]

[Magic Born(Rare)]

Well now these are some interesting titles, it seems like my past titles haven’t been passed on. But that’s not really any problem… as it seems I already have a special title… well, I guess I should read all their description… now! Isaac sat down with his tiny legs and slowly opened all the descriptions of everything.

Hours passed and Isaac finished reading everything on his status screen. He wasn’t able to write anything down because of his lack of resources, but he still memorized some things because he was quite a nerd.

But Isaac’s relaxation would once again stop with a hint of nostalgia.

[B-Rank Adventurer Burter Has Entered Your Tower.]

What the fuck? Entered? Entered what? Wait! Oh, my System! Hearing the notification of a red screen appearing before him, the words of the white figure, also known as the actual System had finally made its way into Isaac’s prefrontal cortex. I’m the dungeon boss of a tower! Shit! Oh, my System! What is going on here!

Isaac stood up from the ground and looked above him. Now that orb looks familiar, I mean to be fair I never really broke any dungeon cores… but that is a dungeon core, I know it! But umm… how am I going to get up there?

Dungeons existed everywhere on earth, even causing the other half of it to be unlivable due to this fact. No one ever found out the reason for these dungeons, but as time went by, people adapted and they didn’t care anymore.

Dungeons, whether it was through gates or towers, always had cores, once destroyed, the entire dungeon falls apart and every player inside gets teleported outside.

But not every dungeon had a boss inside it, and obviously, those that had one always had stronger monsters, and for some odd reason, those types of dungeons get stronger the longer you leave them, making towers and dungeons so strong that they become unraidable.

It wasn’t common knowledge, or that there isn’t actually anyone who even knows, but it was obvious that the white orb above the pedestal is important to a dungeon boss.

Isaac, being a baby demon, couldn’t even reach the orb. He flapped his wings, hitting his body and scratching him multiple times. Okay, relax! You just need to relax! Feel the wings! Slowly, Isaac, with his eyes closed, felt something on his back moving at a rapid speed. I can still feel my the floor with my feet but it’s working! Isaac kept doing what he felt. It’s starting to kind of hurt though… and I’m not even moving up… oh no…

Isaac opened his eyes, laying upon a propelling tail slowly losing its attachment to his but. Stop!! Okay, this is harder than I thought! That muscle is my tail! Not my wings! I should have noticed circling my wings felt weird. Again!

Isaac moved his tail to his hand and held it so he could know if his tail was the one moving and to stop immediately.

Feeling a flap of wind on his back, Isaac was on the right track. His upper body started to move around, going with the flow of his wings. His feet started to leave the ground and his wings started to flap faster.

Isaac opened his eyes and saw his feet leave the ground. He… was flying. Isaac placed more energy into his wings and he started to fly to the ceiling.

He was filled with joy, overshadowing his problems and current circumstances. But as he circled the sky, not knowing how to control his direction, another System notification reminded him of something.

[B-Rank Adventurer Burter Has Reached The Last Floor.]

Ahh! Wait what! Already! Wait! A! Second! Isaac yelled in his head. He spun in the air, losing control, he wanted to go to the dungeon core but his eyes and thoughts weren’t aligning with his wings.

As he looked at the orb and thought of going, his body flew upward. As he thought of going down, his body moved sidewards. Shit! If I stop my wings I might die from this height! Calling the chamber spacious was an understatement, with a rough estimate of a rectangular shape, with a length of 50 meters, and a height of 20 meters, Isaac was stuck on the roof of his chamber.

Shit! I’ll just trust in myself! Isaac placed everything on his own race. Praying to the demons, Isaac flew himself barely above the crystal ball also known as the dungeon core. He prepared himself for the drop that he was going to do, and as he closed his eyes and squished his face, a loud noise came from the door end of the chamber, ruining Isaac’s focus and running his wings amok.

Wait! No!!! Isaac’s wings spun around, spinning his body around at a rapid speed. Ahhh!!! Okay! My pain resistance isn’t helping with this anymore! It hurts! It’s like my wings are trying to rip themselves off my back! Shit!! As Isaac yelled through his mind, suddenly his body came to a halt and hit a squishy wall; Isaac was plunged out of the chamber.

Immediately turning his head to look at where he landed, his eyes laid upon another eye, the eyes of the man who raided his tower. Shit… I’m dead.
