16. A Short Food Trip

Cultivation. One might think it’s about Wuxia stories or Xianxia stories, but… sadly Isaac doesn’t even know those terms at all. Cultivation, also called “Mana Circulation” gathers mana into the body until it gets filled to the brim.

Unlike some typical development of “Magic Circles.” Or tiers in magic, the magic that the system had presented made no such levels. Whether that was more effective or not, Isaac had yet to find out.

2 hours had passed since Isaac had started to absorb the Magic Particles in the air. His stats had grown way beyond what he would have ever expected in his entire lifetime. But of course, it soon became slower. From gaining a stat every second, to every minute, and to the latest one.

[Magic Stat Had Increased By 1]

… Isaac opened his eyes and exhaled. He opened his stats revealing his astronomical Magic stat that had overshadowed everything else in his status screen.

[Magic: 118]

It feels so fucking stupid. The highest stat I had in my past life reached far into the thousands, but that was because I spammed all my Free stats into it, but 100? Over 100 while being level 3? This is bullshit! Isaac groaned and looked up at his ceiling.

His body felt so refreshed that could continue to circulate mana even if it lasted days. But even someone like him couldn’t just do such a thing for days, he had achieved strength further than any being he had known, and he was confident he had even surpassed the talents of the 5 Monarchs in his past life. Now… what should I do next?

Well… I think it’s time… I mean I know everything already about my class but umm… Isaac jumped up to his armchair and then hopped down behind. Isaac exhaled aggressively as he shook his head. After an exhale that sounded like an engine, his mouth opened to give a big smile as he raised his hand. Knock. Knock.

I don’t hear anything… and it’s definitely been 2 hours based on the Souls Dome status screen… so… well, from what I know, it should, it should be… fuck! I already knocked! Isaac braced for the moment the door opened. A second passed and the door was immediately opened by Goby. “I have done everything, master!” Goby immediately kneeled, and the other goblins panicked with their hands on their tethered shorts then copied.

Isaac flew inside and looked at the dead woman filled with white elements that were one hundred percent sperm. Well, I don’t actually have a way to tell if she’s pregnant… but hmmm… I do have a way to be more bossy. Isaac will never ever [so this is the only time] admit he liked being a boss of the tower, but ordering and scolding people, gave him a sense of relief from all the hard work he had done in the past.

“I see something on her mouth Goby… didn’t I say to only breed… it seems some “fun”.” He quoted with his hands. “Had happened.” He said.

Goby gulped, “My apologies, master! I will not make the same mistake again!”

“Make sure of that.” Isaac wandered around the room acting like he was still observing. It was just a facade for show. “Did you not need the male body? Or did I not notice anyone move as I meditated?” Isaac went down and stared at Goby’s eyes with his head looking at the floor.

“I will not dare to walk in front of you! No extra nutrients were needed!”

“Well…” Isaac heard a grumbling sound from one of the goblins. He chuckled at the coincidence of such a sound. The goblin immediately ducked himself from fear. “Well, Goby, you should not hide and tell me if our Goblins… are starving.”. Though Isaac mentioned the state of starvation, he actually had no real solution other than the male human in the storage room.

Isaac was hesitant to treat the human male as food, though it was not because of cannibalism, it was because that single human was not enough for 10 people, even if one was a baby.

“It’s unfortunate, but I don’t actually have a source of food at the moment. We have the human at the storage… but answer me this Goby, it’s not enough for everyone… right?” He kept on staring at his eyes.

“Yes, master.”

Isaac walked out of Goby’s underbelly and flew out of the room. “Stand up.” He ordered.

Now what may I actually do for the food situation? Isaac was stuck after a long time. He had no way of going out of the tower, or at least he had yet to try. But either way, he was a demon, it was common sense no human would just accept seeing a demon even if he managed to somehow get out of the tower.

Eating the goblins is also out of the option, they cost way too much for food, and I would rather starve than waste 25 soul points. Isaac bit his nails and played with his tongue until he was left with no choice but to believe the tower already had the solution at the dungeon core.

Isaac flew down to the orb and landed on it carefully.

[Feature Locked]

Wait. Oh… I unlock many new features every time a day passes or I guess… the milestone? Isaac had a few minutes or even hours to spare, the goblins wouldn’t die from a few days of starvation, no less just a few hours.

[Milestones]

[Raiders Killed: 3/10][Rewards: 1000 Soul Points]

[Waves In Souls Dome: 3/5][1000 Soul points]

[Gaurdians Summoned: 1/1][1000 Soul Points][Click To Recieve]

Isaac’s mouth opened to half of his face. It had reached a level not even possible. He was frozen on the orb until his body slipped from losing grip and he fell to the ground like an indestructible rubber figurine.

Isaac was a smart man, but sometimes his reaction to things that go way beyond common sense, like his stats or the ability to gain 1000 Soul Points from something he did for free was just so stupid for him that his entire mind stopped working for a few seconds. It was a weird quirk, but for an intelligent man, I guess its only downfall is… stupidity.

Click! Immediately! Isaac came out of his frozen state and immediately flew up to his screen and clicked it.

[You Have Received 1000 Soul Points From Completing A Milestone]

Isaac flew so fast that he passed through his screen. He went to the summoning room immediately. “Move!’ He yelled. Isaac landed on the ground and opened the summoning screen.

“Do you know any restraining magic, Goby?” Isaac asked.

“Yes, master.”

Isaac pressed the screen once and an entire Orc at the height of the entire room appeared crouching down. “Now!”

Goby opened his cape to the side and pulled out his wand. He spun it around and an orange magic circle appeared. A rope then flew out of the magic circle, tying the Orc down to the ground.

“Good Job.” The Orc was too big to fit into the room. The goblins ran instinctively outside of the room out of fear of a creature much stronger than them.

Only Goby and Isaac in the air remained in the room. The Orc released a huge growl! “Release! Me!” It talked in the same way as the goblins but it was much louder. Isaac lifted the female human out of the room for safety.

I didn’t want to tie it down in the first place… but this is better. A rope ran across the middle of the orc’s body and tied its hands. Another rope tied its legs and the Orc wiggled around and caused the room to shake.

Isaac sliced down the Orc’s legs and arms off. “You Goblins! Come in here and carry its limbs out of the room!” Even with the fear the Orc had given them, a demon was of course much higher in the food pyramid than that giant regenerating monster.

Blood exploded around the room, even splattering Isaac’s entire body. Though only his wings actually change color other than just his skin earning more depths of red. The limbs of the Orc had already begun to form tiny meat at the size of a fist. Really worth the name of the “Hardest Early Mob.”. Such regenerative ability is insane even if it’s slower than mine.

The Goblins entered and carried one leg out of the room with the cooperation of all 8 of the Goblins. “Careful not to step on the woman!” Isaac yelled.

“You carry one too Goby, lead the others to the storage room.” Isaac levitated the two arms of the Orc into the air and watched as the goblins tried their best to squeeze the giant leg out of the room. Stupid idiots! I actually wanna laugh!

The size of the Orc wasn’t so large that it actually couldn’t fit through the door. But the goblins carried the leg with four on one side and another four on the other. As they walked out of the room, with the thickness of the leg and the added width of the two goblins, they would never be able to get out of the room.

Isaac dropped the two arms on top of the Orc’s face, shutting down its loud cries that Isaac had ignored. He went out of the room and carried the woman onto his throne. Who cares about the dignity of the throne. He scoffed.

Isaac went back in and pushed the entire leg out, bashing to the throne. With the thickness and strength of the Black Marble, the leg bounced back to the door in the opposite direction. Almost thought my analysis of magic not working on the marble and my giant mud rope hitting the pole and leaving no scratches was wrong.

He lifted the arms back with his magic and waited for Goby to carry the other leg out. “...” Isaac was left speechless. Goby sweated heavily and immediately bowed from the heavy stare of Isaac. “I do not know levation nor any gravitational magic, master!” Goby yelled with his staff aimed at his throat.

Isaac slapped his face, which caused one of the arms to lunge into the back wall. “Goby, let me tell you a secret. Do you think I’m using some gravitational magic to lift these arms up into the air?” Isaac asked.

“This lowly one does not understand, master!”

“Look up and observe how I lift these arms up.”

Isaac knew nothing about levitation or what gravitational magic was. Though of course he had to keep face and showed no such reaction. Even with his past world’s vast knowledge, magic that made things float was something Wind mages did by manipulating air. Isaac shoved the thought back into his brain and went back to the current situation.

The arms in the air were surrounded by a vacuum of air. By controlling the movement of air around the arms, one could literally move it with ease with no problem. It was like a fan, but instead of a single direction, it was around the whole body.

Goby stared and slowly realized the trick of Isaac’s magic. He was shocked. It was a trick that manipulated the basic rules of magic, to Goby, that was unorthodox, also known as Demonic Varient Magic. Though of course as a monster, it wasn’t something he did not try to study at least once.

But the existence of such magic only existed in the legends, to see such a thing, he was already convinced his master was something else, but at that moment, Goby was left with no choice but to fear the man in front of him. His looks may be deceiving, but his strength was not.

“I’ll go out first then, I trust your intelligence… Goby.” Isaac flew the arms out of the room and he followed. He flew to the goblins that slowly carried the leg. They stopped in intervals to gain back their air. Well, I need more workers next time. Isaac passed the goblins and threw the arms into the storage room.

Isaac didn’t want to waste any more time and picked up the leg the Goblins were carrying, as soon as he threw it into the storage room, Goby came out of the Summoning room with the leg barely floating off the ground.

I’m already out of mana. Goby thought in his head. Isaac grabbed the leg and also threw it into the storage room. He flew to Goby, “Took you a lot of mana to do huh…” Isaac smiled.

“Everyone into the storage room!” Isaac yelled. But before he flew back to the storage room. While the others ran to it, he swiftly carried the woman off his throne and into the ground. Might as well.

Isaac flew back to the Storage room and soon he lit a fire on the ground, and had their first meal ever since they had arrived…

It was a short moment, but a lot happened. Just for food… that was kind of a lot of effort.
