"I'm a royal ice elf."
"So, you're really not joking about awakening an extraordinary species?"
"No, I really did awaken an extraordinary species. I have no reason to lie, I really am saying this because I don't want to lose the trust we have and you would've figured it out soon, after all..."
"You have to go to the elf kingdom, that's the main reason you can't lie to us." My brother said before I could explain.
"What, why are you going to the elf kingdom, can't you stay here," Brigit said in surprise.
"I can't stay here; the elven kingdom is very protective of their people. have you noticed how there are almost no elves in our city, and the ones that are here are just banished from the elven kingdom."
"So, why does that matter you don't have to go, even if they invite you to their kingdom, you could just refuse them." This time my other sister Natalia said.
I never thought she would care. Natalia was never one to reveal her emotions, to be completely honest I didn't think she had any, though it's nice knowing that there is a chance she cares about me however, what she said is still wrong.
"That's impossible, from what I've read, elves value their nobles and royals too much, they depend on them for protection. Elves are so small in numbers that they value the stronger elves a lot."
"But that still doesn't justify forcing you to go," Natalia said.
"You have a point, but throughout all the history books about elves I've read, they have never let a high awakening elf free, they have always tried to bring that elf to their homeland and if that elf disagreed to go then they would use force."
"So, you're saying that you don't know all of the reasons behind why elves would go so far as to even use force to take high-ranking elves back to their homeland but you're sure that they will use force."
"Sadly, I don't know all of the reasons, but I'm sure I will find out."
"So, you plan on willingly going with them?"
At this point, my family is looking at me in surprise, I can't blame them, normally I would fight back but there are some good reasons for going to the elven kingdom.
"Wait, why would you go willingly, why not fight back, don't just give up!" Brigit said.
"They are probably going to send their strongest men just to retrieve me, and with the fact that I just awakened I wouldn't stand a chance fighting them, plus there are some good points with going to the elven kingdom."
"What could possibly be good going with them, there's something fishy going around in that kingdom!"
It seems Brigit is very keen on me not leaving, nice that she cares.
"I can't see anything bad happing when they value high-ranking elves for protection."
"That still doesn't explain how it could be good going there."
"I would get elven resources and the elves could help me in getting stronger which would be better than any other race since they would have more knowledge about what could help me evolve as an elf."

"That's true but there still has to be risks going to the elven kingdom."
"Opportunities and risks come hand and hand, I will be going."
"There's nothing we could do to change your mind?" My parents said sadly.
I hate to see my family like this, even if they aren't my real family, I have spent 4 years with them, and seeing them sad like this hurts, but I have to go I have 2 goals in this life, to see my family again, and to become the strongest because what's better than power, you could do anything with power, plus what's more satisfying then getting stronger, I might be a little power hungry but what's wrong with that.
"No, I've made up my mind but it's not like I'm not going to see you ever again I'll visit."
"You promise, we wouldn't like to see you go and never come back."
"I promise."
And just like that, I solved the family problem and now I have time to figure out what my species can do!"
after the talk with my family, I went to my room. Like always my room was quite bland with a bed, a desk, a computer, a dresser, and a bookcase. I'm a minimalist, I don't need to fill my room with decorations, and it's not like I have the money for that but even though I will be making more money from now on that will never change with my awakening, I just don't need all those things like paintings or decorations.
I changed into some more comfortable clothes and sat on my bed. One of the first things people do went they awaken is cultivate their mana, which people do most of the time in a classroom sense most people need help with how to, but if you read enough books, it should be easy. The guide I read said to focus on creating your mana veins by guiding your mana and condensing it well meditating.
I begin by sitting in a meditating position I found in a book I read "the basics of making a mana vein", I focus on feeling the mana in my body, which was really hard it took me 1 hour to sense the mana because I was looking at the wrong place! There's no mana inside my body right now which confused me isn't there supposed to be mana inside my body? Why did the book not say anything about you having no mana inside your body? you can't condense what you don't have!
Maybe I'm supposed to gather the mana in the air and refine it inside my body to make mana veins? Well, whatever it is the book was not very helpful at all, damn why did I buy this book to begin with!? I should have read the reviews, next time I won't buy a guide without reading the reviews, this was just a massive waste of time, and I don't even know of the right way to absorb the mana out of the air, I should've taken a class on cultivating, but I believed in this book too much that I thought I didn't need to take any classes.
Speaking of school usually, they hold classes for the next week until college exams for people who need help with cultivating, I could go to that, but damn to think someone like me who has awakened an extraordinary rank species will need help cultivating I'm sure I will surprise A lot of students and teachers alike.
But looking outside it seems I took longer than I thought thinking about how I'm going to cultivate that it's dark out now. Well, I guess I should go to sleep I will have a long day tomorrow.
Meanwhile, somewhere in a forest, there lays a fortress made out of the fineness marble and stone material one could get, and which seems to be a bustling city all around the fortress. In this city, the houses were made out of stone and marble and also dawned with green-colored paint. The people seemed to be in good spirits as they go shop to shop just talking with the sellers like good old friends would, well the sellers would sometimes offer their goods which were things like animal pelts and foods, like meats, fruits, and vegetables. Sometimes you would see the occasional noble going through the crowd and interacting with the commoners like friends, but it was quite a rare scene.
But what stood out the most was how all the people looked. Most people had blond hair, and some had different colored hair ranging from green, black, gray, and light blue. Most had green eyes filled with so much vigor. Their skin was a white polished color. The men had tall and sturdy bodies, and the women had tall and slim bodies with an elegant air to them as they walked from place to place going inside buildings that seemed to sell perfumes and clothes. But one thing in common that they all had was that they all had long and pointy ears, they were all elves.
But as the people outside having fun, deep within the walls of the fortress laid a room with large marble columns running across the room holding up the ceiling. At the center of the room was a long table and chairs all made out of rich red wood with golden edges giving off a royal feeling for all that sees them. There were elves sitting on the chairs ranging from older adults to elders, but most were elders. at the end of the table sat a person who seemed to be the leader of the meeting, but what was so special about him is his aura which demanded attention. They were having a meeting of the utmost importance.
