I followed my father to the living room. I could see my family anxiously waiting on the couch.

I looked at the girl, she had defining features, a slim body, but quite a lot of muscles. Red hair that could set the world on fire, her eyes red with a fierce look of a predator. She has a tail and ears of a lion, but you could almost see fire emitting from them. She was my older sister Brigit.

"My looks are related to my awakening," I said to my sister as if it was obvious.

I was a little tired of people asking why I look this, all through my walk home people I know were asking why I looked like this, with stupid questions like "Hey Jason are you cosplaying?", or "hey Jason aren't you too young to sync with your species?", of course I'm too young to sync with my species! Do you think it's possible to sync with your species this early, you'd have to awaken a really high species just for that to happen, something that even the principal didn't know about, it's quite literally impossible to have a high affinity for a species! And for the love of God, why would I ever cosplay!?

"Hey, I only asked a question there's no need to act that way!" Brigit said in anger.

"Well don't ask stupid questions."

"Ok you two please stop fighting, we still need to know how Jason's awakening went." a woman said to stop the bickering.

The woman who stopped us was middle-aged. she had long brown hair, a slim body, and bright green eyes. She has the tail and ears of a fox. She was my mother.

"Fine," Brigit said in defeat.

I smiled triumphantly like I won a war.

"About my awakening, I didn't get a weak species or low rank, it's just my species and rank are a little problematic."

"What do you mean, isn't getting a good species and rank a good thing?" my mother said what everyone else was thinking.

"Yes normally, but I got an extraordinary rank species."

"What, impossible!" my family said in unison.

"Did you think I would believe that you got an extraordinary rank species, don't joke with us, we won't judge you for awakening a weak species?" Brigit said.

"Yes son, we won't judge you for awakening a weak species, but don't joke around saying you awakened an extraordinary rank species."

the girl who just spoke up was my other sister, Natalia. on the other hand, she has a slim figure, looking very fragile compared to my other sister. she was tall, standing around 6 feet. She had black hair like the void, light blue eyes like ice, she had this gaze that was so cold that you felt cold just from her gaze. little white fox ear protruded from her head, and three white tails with an icy blue tint on the tip, this was the signature trait of a kitsune. Kitsune looks a lot like foxes because they are foxes, but often times they have many tails.

"Wait those long ears are the trait of an elf!" Brigit said in surprise.

"Really, I didn't know that." My parents said.

Wow, they must have been living under a rock not to know what elves looked like.

"Yes, that is the trait of an elf, a species that high affinity for magic, and also ranges from SSR through extraordinary rank." A guy said.

The last person two speak, and also my brother. Out of everyone here, I could say he was the most professional, rocking the slick black suit, and combed-back hair. bulky body, like a bodybuilder. He had black hair, and green eyes with a strong and confident look in his eyes, like looking at the world and the people who live in it with brutality. The kind of person who would fight for what they want and never accept defeat. But what stands out the most is his dark green skin and the big fangs that he has, with that it becomes evident what he is, an orc.

Orcs are one of the most prominent species out there, you can find them anywhere, they even have their own kingdom where only orcs are allowed to live, and sometimes ambassadors from other kingdoms. they are most of the time friendly with other species, often trading with them, but they are known for starting wars just for the fun of it.

Another thing about kingdoms is every prominent species, like dragons, dwarves, and elves have their own kingdoms. Many of these kingdoms keep to their selves, often not getting involved with over species. There are a lot of reasons why a species might keep to their selves, often the reason is their belief that they are the superior species, like dragons. There are also elves who like to keep to themselves because they don't agree with the decisions of other species, but there are a lot of elves that believe that their species is superior. Elves are also known for being untied, and always helping each other.

There are also cities that have many species, like the one I live at right now, we call them hubs where all species are welcomed.

But one of the biggest problems of this world and its kingdoms is when two elves have a child, it's born human and raised in the elven kingdom, but the moment that they awaken and it's not as an elf they are banished from the elven territory, with only their parents staying in contact with them. This is one of the reasons why hub cities are so popular, as whatever species you awaken doesn't matter.

As I was thinking of the various kingdoms out there, my parents spoke.

"Are elves that strong! It's hard to figure out all that much about them when they keep to themselves so much."

"Elves are one of the strongest species, most of the elves are epic level, some at the SSR rank, and their ruler at the extraordinary rank. But with them being so strong there comes a big weakness, they're small in numbers. With such a high ranking their numbers are small and often only about 10,000 elves are awakened every year, that's small compared to orcs with millions of people awakening every year. But still, with their small numbers, they are one of the strongest species out there, with their almost perfect control of mana, one elf could almost take around 20 orcs and that's not including their stronger nobles and knight variants of their species."

"Wait if a regular elf is at the SSR rank, then what would Jason fall under?" My sister Brigit said with curiosity as they all look at me waiting for me to tell them.

damn, I can't say I'm an elven dragon, telling others would just be needless trouble even my family, if what I am leaked out then I'm in trouble. I can't even begin to imagine all the assassins other kingdoms would send to kill me, in their eyes I'm a living threat that could destroy their kingdoms. What to do, what to do? Ah, I got it.
