Elven dragon, a species that has never been heard of before. Never in the history of this world has anyone awakened as an elven dragon.

But today I made a new species, a species that I'm the only one of, an elven dragon.

As I was thinking of the new species, the void I was in started to fade. I suppose it's time for me to wake up.

I open my eyes to see the podium I was at, with my hand still on the mana stone. But there was something strange about the stage, there were deep cuts in the wood like they were viciously ripped apart. Well looking at the people around me they had their eyes closed well using their arms to shield themselves. Even the principal used mana to protect himself.

"Principal, what happened, why do you all have your eyes closed well protecting yourself?"

The principal looked at me with shock, well trying to think of something to say.

"Mr. Valideir by any chance does your parent have high-ranking species?"

"No, both my parents awakened uncommon and rare rank species, why do you ask?"

"Mr. Valideir to answer your question you awakened an extraordinary rank species, something near impossible to do without having a powerful family. and by the looks of it, it's an elf species that you already seem to be synced with, something that's unprecedented to think about."

"Is that rare?"

"Yes very, it's something that has never happened, but we've speculated that it could happen if you have a high affinity with that species."

"I see, thank you for telling me."

This is very unlucky to think that not only did I get an extraordinary rank species, which I knew about but added something that has never happened before in history. This is going to attract so much attention.

"No Mr. Valideir I should be thanking you; this will make my school a part of the history books for raising the first person to awaken their species' body trait early."

As I was talking to the principal, I could see all the students looking at me with surprise, jealousy, and love, wait, love, damn these great looks. Of course, the world had to make me look so hot, but this is just a curse, sorry ladies but this guy can't respond to your feeling, you will only hold me down, I need to fly like the beautiful and majestic dragon I am.

But little did Jason know that there was one person who looked at Jason with so much malice it was palpable.

"Mr. Valideir you can go back to your seat."

I went back to my seat well the principal finished with the awakening ceremony.

"That will be it for today student. For everyone who's looking to go to college, there will be college exams next week held here. And with that, I wish everyone the best of luck."

"Finally, that assembly felt like it lasted forever."

"Man, you're so lucky Jason, awakening an extraordinary rank elf species, and to top it all off you're already synced with your species, so unfair, all I got was an uncommon fierce wolf." My friend said to me.

"It's not too lucky there are two ranks above my rank. and uncommon isn't that bad, at least you didn't get a common rank species."

First, no one living has any rank above extraordinary rank, so if you think that's not lucky then I don't know what luck is, and second uncommon rank is still bad I can't even get into a 3rd rate college, I'm going to be stuck doing factory work for the rest of my life well you live in luxury." My friend said yelling at me.

"Your right, if I ever hurt my parents' feelings my sisters would kill me, and then my brother."

"Haha, they so would. But telling them isn't going to feel good, especially since when they hear your rank, they will know you will have to leave them."

"Yes, that's what I fear the most. Knowing my species and rank, it's impossible that they would leave me alone."

"I'll miss you man, we've been friends since childhood, but not only will we not be able to go to the same college, we'll be in different countries."

I separated from my friend after saying goodbye. I wonder how my family is going to take the news. they were always there for me, even though they aren't my real parents, but they easily became my second family. I treated them like a son should, it's the least I could do, knowing that I'm not their real son, just someone that has taken over the body of the son. I couldn't bear taking away their son, so I vowed to act the same as their son would, and I shall take this secret to the grave.

I soon arrived at a small suburban house that you can find all around a residential area. The house was quite average, nothing special, but at least it was something.

Often these middle-class houses are occupied by people who awakened an uncommon or rare rank species, there are a lot poorer houses out there for the unlucky people who awakened common ranked species and for the uncommon rank people who live alone. But the point is my family is quite average, nothing special, my dad is at rare rank well my mother is uncommon rank. My sisters were the highest rank in the house, with both awakened an SSR rank species, something that rarely happens especially for middle-class families.

After my sisters awakened my father went around the town saying how proud he was to be their father, but mostly boasting about having two SSR rank species in his family, and through a party for my sisters to celebrate their good fortune.

My father is the extrovert of the house always making small talk with the neighbors, but he was always a family person, he would constantly think about the family first, always about the wellbeing. He might have not been the smartest person, always forgetting his keys to the car or leaving his wallet behind, or using the wrong ingredients when cooking, but he was such a terrible cook, he couldn't cook to save his life. But he did know how to lift others up, he always brightened the mood of those around him.

Well on the other hand my mother was the opposite in a lot of things, well-reserved. Good at cooking, and always did the cooking whenever had the opportunity. She made sure that everything was tidy.

I had 3 siblings, 1 brother, and 2 sisters. My brother is the oldest, awakened a rare rank species, and went to college to study economics. He studied economics to help my family with money, he knew that there were a lot of struggles supporting a family of six for a middle-class family and he wanted deep down to help out our parents and give them the rest they deserve. But because he's studying at college he's rarely home, only making time for holidays.

My sisters are 1 year older than me. The best way to describe them is as fire and ice, they are the embodiment of fire and ice.

Brigit, the sister that resembles fire. Outgoing personality, prideful can't handle being second, has to be first. Takes after our father in a lot of quality, is horrible at cooking, speaks to everyone, and loves her family. Brigit got the flaming lion species, a very fierce species that specializes in being strong, and very prideful.

Natalia, the sister that resembles ice. Cold personality, painfully honest, I've heard of the stories from seniors getting rejected by her and they were all very brutal. She's quiet most of the time, a person of a few words. An introvert prefers to spend her time reading alone. It's hard to see where she got that from, both of my parents aren't like that so must be a trait of her species. Natalia species is one of the kitsune, a lower form as kitsune range from SSR to epic rank.

"Son, what are you doing standing outside the house? Did you awaken, what did you awaken? Wait why do you look different? what's with the silver hair, and black eyes, and pointy ears?"

As questions were bombarding me, I realize that I was standing outside the house this whole time. I look towards the person bombarding me with questions. standing in the doorway a tall fit man was standing there, he has black hair and blue eyes, it was my father.
