A few weeks ago, in a small cabin far beyond the continent of Etheria.
“Aye, It is as forspoken, the wheel has begun to spin again.” A dying old man in a bed was speaking to a young man with golden eyes.
“Respected diviner, please conserve your strength.” The young man replied to the diviner.
“This is what my strength was for, I have fulfilled my role in this. For the goddess I would kill myself a million times, once is near nothing.”
The golden eyed young man nodded, respecting the diviner’s dedication to his faith.
“Hear my decree, Divine Holy Knight Aaron.” The diviner spoke with dignity as he sat up, he knew he was nearing his death.
Aaron knelt on one knee beside the bed as he listened.
“Within the continent of Etheria, within its desolate center. Seek the site at which the Usurper slashed open the boundary. Within the boundary there lay a creature, a creature of communion. A being that has no right meddling with the world of the goddess, has used the creature as a tool. Vanquish the creature and anything tainted by its repugnant touch. Return the world to its rightful shine, embraced by the Goddess Everbright.”
As he finished the last word the diviner fell back into bed, life had left him.
Aaron stood up and walked over the diviner before gently shutting his eyes.
He grabbed the sigil of a hooded praying woman that hung around his neck and held it against his forehead.
“May the maiden grant you the embrace of the Everbright.” He spoke a prayer before covering the diviner with a sheet.
As he turned around and began to walk away he spoke another prayer.
“I implore the maiden, wrest away my mercy, the thing I hunt now, deserves it not.”
…
“There is absolutely no way the Elysium Guild will be withdrawing from here.” Madam Hua stood her ground, despite being the weakest in the deadlock.
She had seen Anissa, Ellia, Lyra and Feng Zhiming all vanish into thin air. Of course the only reason she noticed their approach to begin with was because of how familiar she was with the Qi signatures of Ellia and Lyra.
In this cesspool of unusual Qi she had been able to notice their existence before the other Heavenly Eye cultivators.
Originally she planned to say something but after she saw them vanish, it was clear they had some sort of plan.
Thus she decided to do the only thing she could do, hold everyone else at the entrance.
“Respectfully Madam Hua, The sect of the Sacred Sage and Celestial Haven Sect should possess this treasure. We outnumber you.” Elder Musan rubbed his chin as he replied to her.
Elder Pyari looked at him as if he was a dunce.
“Try it and I’ll just ally with the little Madam, after all the Elysium guild is neutral and has no problems cooperating with demonic sects.”

Elder Musan frowned.
“You demonic bastards, we allow you to live for the sake of balance and in turn you become arrogant.”
“Balance, don’t lie to me like I’m some blind fool, we both know the only reason we both restrain ourselves is because of the truly powerful.” Elder Pyari responded.
“Enough.” Grand Elder Claris spoke in an annoyed tone.
Just as he was about to suggest something he got a mental transmission from the sect leader.
“Forget it, the treasure is out of our hands, It’s too late, we were too late.” he said as he looked towards a small blimp on the ground, a troubled expression appearing on his face.
Daiyu was surprised by the changes in expression she saw on the grand elder’s face.
“Something is strange, terribly strange.” She said as she bit her nail.
“Why? Are they still not agreeing to anything?” Krimin asked as the grip around his saber tightened.
Daiyu grabbed her head as a migraine hit her unexpectedly.
“It’s the worst possible outcome for Feng Zhiming.”
A faint, yet undeniable presence made itself evident, a slow, methodical, almost menacing approach towards the three ships and the four elders.
A young man, clad entirely in white. His face was obscured by a hood that cast a shadow over his features, carrying clear hostility, but his eyes, an unnatural golden, glimmered with an eerie luminosity.
He moved with a grace that broadcasted the confidence he had.
a strong young man with a golden aura wearing a white robe walking through a wasteland a necklace with an image of a hooded praying woman hanging from his neck, a golden sword in a sheathe a sigil of a hooded praying woman engraved into it hanging from his waist not in his hands, his eyes golden in color and his bright blond hair peaking out from under the hood, in manhwa artstyle [https://th.bing.com/th/id/OIG1.UCs1fUNwbWZPXv6vuVBq?pid=ImgGn]
He took a step and instantly arrived before the four Heavenly Eye cultivators.
Krimin looked at the man and he instinctively felt his chest tighten, it wasn’t physical, he felt a reaction on a spiritual level.
It was uncanny, Qi was behaving very chaotically but in the general vicinity of this man, Qi was calm and unmoving.
An existence that demanded order.
Daiyu looked at the golden eyed man and began to speak out loud.
“Feng Zhiming, whatever you’ve done. It must have been something truly heinous, to incur the wrath of the most powerful force on the continent. The keepers of order, cleansers of the putrid and Knights of the luminescent Goddess.”
The more she spoke the more the smile on her face grew.
As Aaron Stood before the three elders his expression shifted from a lack thereof to disdain.
“I haven’t stepped foot out here in a few centuries, but have you mongrels forgotten the ones who hold your leashes.” he spoke in a frigid, distant tone.
The four elders instantly bowed their heads.
“We greet the esteemed Holy Knight.” they spoke in unison, every single one of them was frowning inside, despite their outwardly amicable expressions.
This Holy Knight was their peer in terms of cultivation, but in terms of status he was above even their sect leaders.
This was the white cloak that the sect leader and minister Fowl had both mentioned, of course white cloak was somewhat of a derogatory term used by people who disliked the holy knights. So they would never use that in front of him.
“From my understanding you’re all standing at an impasse. Unable to decide who gets to go into the torn boundary.”
The four looked at each other for a moment before Grand Elder Claris responded.
“Indeed.”
Aron nodded before turning his head and looking at the entrance, he extended his hand and waved. His golden eyes shining brightly as they unraveled something.
“Then why is that foul creature about to enter regardless?”
All four of the Heavenly Eye cultivators turned their head to look at a group of four people, standing mere centimeters from the entrance
Madam Hua cursed inwardly, they had been so close.
On the other hand the three other elders were surprised beyond words, how had three juniors managed to get by their divine senses undetected?
"Well well, it seems the goddess is smiling upon me this day, serving up a tainted one as soon as I arrive." Aaron rejoiced as his gaze fell upon a blindfolded young man.
A blindfolded young man that was practically the definition of taint itself.
