There were two more figures standing beside them.
A woman dressed in a very exposed cultivator robe, she stood with her midriff visible, her lower robes slits to showcase her thighs, adorned in jewelry that shone like gold and diamonds alike, she wore everything from earrings to an anklet.
And a bald middle aged man with a triangular head covering, wearing a long robe that fell to his ankles, dressed in the bare minimum, in contrast to the flashy woman.
“Oh my, I did not expect to run into a traitor when going on this little errand.” The woman spoke with a devious grin on her face.
“Aren’t you going to denounce that name yet fellow cultivator, you’ve long since stepped on the right path.” the bald man added to her statement.
“Elder Pyari and Elder Musan, you need not concern yourself with my name, that is not why we’re here.” Grand Elder Claris easily brushed off their provocations.
The woman he referred to as Elder Pyari walked closer to him before seductively running her finger down his chest.
“You’ve become so cold, even after we spent all those nights together.”
He pushed her away with a mediocre amount of force.
“Go try your tricks on some other fool, a fool stupid enough to sleep with a lunatic.” He spoke coldly.
Elder Musan smiled seeing his fellow cultivator's resolve.
The woman backed away, still smiling. It seemed like she was used to such rejection, she promptly turned her gaze to Madam Hua.
“Ah, it seems we have a special guest, the Elysium guild must be in dire straits, sending a junior at the Quasi stage of the Heavenly Eye.”
Madam Hua scoffed at her remark.
“A minor realm’s worth of difference won’t be enough for you to defeat me, whore.”
Elder Pyari’s grin cracked for a moment before reappearing.
“Words hurt junior Hua, calling someone a whore because of their cultivation needs. I’m truly offended. However, it's something I’d expect from a prude.”
“Call me junior one more time and see who sleeps with you after I rearrange your face.”
The two women began to stand face to face before one another and the atmosphere began to shift.
The air began to hiss as the two auras collided with one another, the pressure was enough to kill Ethereal core cultivators.
Before they truly reached the point of no return, Elder Musan intervened and stood between the two.
“Please, let us halt the insults and focus on important matters.” he spoke with a nervous smile on his face.
Madam Hua turned her head, suppressing her itch to battle.
Elder Pyari also did the same.
In truth neither of them really had the intention to battle, the only ones benefiting from their battle would be the other two Heavenly Eye cultivators.

Grand Elder Claris cleared his throat before speaking.
“I wonder why on this random day, the Elysium guild, the Dual Divine Demon Sect and The Sect of the Sacred Sage. Have decided to visit the Heart.”
They all looked at one another, waiting for someone to speak up first.
Finally Elder Musan had enough and spoke up.
“We’ve heard that there’s a Named Treasure that was recently born in the Heart.”
Madam Hua looked down at a small ship approaching the cave in the distance, a familiar yet unfamiliar man waving at her, although his eyes were covered with a cloth, he was clearly not surprised by the development.
Her expression soured as soon as she realized she had been double crossed.
…
Lyra was speechless as she saw three great ships floating close to the entrance of the mountain.
“A sigil of the blazing sun, a sigil of yin and yang and lastly a sigil of a pen.” Ellia spoke as his eyes darted to each ship.
“The Dual Divine demon sect, Sect of the Sacred Sage and the Celestial Haven Sect.” Anissa mumbled as she tried to count the number of disciples on each ship.
Lyra saw Feng Zhiming completely unsurprised and put two and two together easily.
“You’re responsible for this! you spread a rumor about the Heart, you’re responsible for the three ships in the sky.” Lyra spoke, a vein throbbing in her forehead.
Feng Zhiming stood at the bow of the ship, a smug smile on his face.
Lyra truly felt like smashing his head in, but the oath she took prevented her from doing that.
Ellia sighed.
“If this was truly your doing, I’m at a loss, why give up sensitive information for free like that, even a calculative man like you should know that.” he added.
His eyes became more serious as he glared at him.
“You’ve clearly done this to spite our guild.”
Anissa stood beside Feng Zhiming with a small smile, she wasn’t surprised by the revelation, after all she was the one who spread the rumor at Feng Zhiming’s request.
Feng Zhiming looked at him with a playful expression.
“Don’t take me for a fool, do you think I didn’t notice our vow doesn’t guarantee my safety after capturing or defeating the creature. Between you two and your master I’d be like a hog on the chopping block.”
“You’re a para-”
Feng Zhiming held a finger to his mouth and hushed him.
“Before you call me paranoid, chivalrous knight, turn around and look at your partner, she looks like I caught her red handed.”
Lyra was looking at Feng Zhiming like she would like nothing more than to set him on fire.
Anissa in turn had a hand resting on her blade, her Qi practically oozing from her.
Seeing the tense atmosphere Feng Zhiming decided to intercede.
“Lighten up, Haven’t you ever heard of this little saying I read in an old book?”
“How the hell would we know of a saying you read?” Lyra replied, clearly displeased.
“It promotes unity and welcomes guests, it is said, the more the merrier.” he replied before jumping off of the ship.
Anissa followed him, along with Ellia and Lyra, they sure as hell weren’t about to let him out of their sight.
“Captain Dolly, I recommend you turn back now, lest you end up in a battle that has nothing to do with you.”
Dolly looked at Feng Zhiming with a complicated expression.
“You’re the devil you know that? A devil that speaks with a golden tongue.” she replied as the ship began to turn around.
“Nonsense, have you ever seen a devil this handsome.”
Dolly just sighed before turning her head and setting sail.
“Reimburse me for my philosophy lecture someday!” Feng Zhiming yelled at the departing ship.
"Someday you're going to have to ask yourself the same questions you asked me!" A distant voice came from the ship.
The three people standing behind were in awe of his shamelessness, he not only stole away a fourth order beast core but even got a free trip to one of the most feared places on the continent. And now he had the audacity to demand even more after she spared his life.
His persuasion was unmatched.
“Worthy of being a god’s vessel.” Anissa thought to herself as she saw him walk towards the cave.
“Now all three of you, put your hands on me.” Feng Zhiming declared as he looked to the mountain and spread his arms wide.
Anissa did as she was told and grabbed him, Lyra and Ellia on the other hand looked at the two of them as if they had mentally checked out.
