Lucian opened his eyes for the first time to see a bright blue sky above him. The sun hung high in the air as it radiated heat on his face for the first time. Fortunately, it seemed like there was only a single sun in the air banishing the thought of multiple suns he had seen on shows away. Cool air blew across his face, tingling his skin with a feeling he hadn't felt in so long.
He could actually feel the air again!
Excited, he stood up to look at his new self as he quickly dashed towards a small pond nearby. As he expected, he looks very similar to how he looked in his previous world, apart from his age. Black frizzy hair stuck with dirt and pieces of small wood created a large afro on his head. He had a well-proportioned face, a slightly angled sharp jawline, full lips, and a small goatee. Golden-brown eyes illuminated his face under his bushy eyebrows, contrasting his chocolate-brown skin. He looked just like when he was in high school!
His body, however, was a completely different story.
He was roughly 200 centimeters in height which was taller than 175 centimeters he was before around this age. Even then, he only grew up to be about 185 centimeters. His body was also extremely muscular compared to before. With his current physique, he could easily compete with Mr. Olympia. He had abnormally broad shoulders coupled with a thin waist. His chest was full while his back bulged behind him. His arms were also unusually large, with equally large forearms to boot. And his legs were even Larger, with quadriceps the size of tree trunks and calves just as big. All around, he looked to be approximately 10% body fat which small veins visible here and there around his body. He couldn't help but be impressed with his new physique.
Immediately, he touched the soil he was lying on, the twigs and leaves lying around him.
"HAHA! I'M ALIVE AGAIN!" Lucian roared in joy as he reveled in the feeling of his new body. He was no longer stuck as a soul. He could finally feel and touch like a normal person!
Lucian took a look around the area to identify where he had landed. From the landscape, he quickly realized he was in a rainforest and a pretty large one at that.
Giant trees countless meters tall rose from the ground as they covered the land in shadows created by the sun's rays. Vines and other plants lived peacefully in the area as small bugs and butterflies flew through the air. It was beautiful. Looking around, he couldn't help but marvel at the perceptible glow everything had around him. It was almost like everything had a coating of some sort of light inherent to all plant life in the world.
"Is this an inherent trait of this world?" he wondered, still mesmerized by the view. He walked towards the closest plant and plucked it to identify its features. Immediately after it was plucked, it slowly began to lose its previous luster, returning to its standard color.
"Everything is quite beautiful. However, a forest is still a forest. I need to be careful of the wildlife in the surrounding. Especially since I have no weapons or...clothes." He said awkwardly as he took a look at his private parts. Well, at least his blessings also transferred there as well.
Shaking himself out of such a big distraction, he looked around again. He needed to assess the area as soon as possible.
This also brought him to another point of discussion. He was completely naked, and he had no idea where the nearest town was.
"I would ask if this was an episode of Naked and Afraid, but I know better. Anyway, I need to first find a source of food and water for survival."
Standing up, he began walking in a random direction as he took in the fresh air. He hadn't felt this feeling for so long. Being in a soul form wasn't terrible. He could smile, laugh, and even talk, even though he didn't have the faculties to do any of those things, but it was sometimes a bit weird. But it was much better to get back into a real body, with an actual face that really talks and laughs as it should.
Passing by the flora nearby, he noticed that apart from the glow, all the trees were plants he already knew. "This must've been the planet I found that I was supposed to land on before that incident. This means I should be able to identify some plants to a certain extent. The only thing I need to worry about is where I can find the nearest town as well as the nearest place of clean water," he thought to himself.
Walking through the forest, he spotted his first sign of life in this world. He initially spotted it as a blue soul floating in the middle of nowhere. As he moved towards it, It revealed itself to be a 4-meter deer-like animal with large, majestic horns on its head. Weirdly its horns were solid blue in color. Droplets of water dropped from its horns as it stood there, eating some plants. Taking a good look at it, the system popped up.

Looking at it, it seemed pretty friendly, but Lucian didn't let that fool him. With a level of 15, It could probably squash him to death with its non-dominant hoof. He would rather do the stomping himself if he were honest.

Standing back, he waited for it to move so he could follow it. He wanted to see if it could lead him to a body of water. Hopefully, there might be a village or town nearby to it. After a couple of minutes, it began to move, and Lucian followed attentively, careful not to attract its attention lest it was not as friendly as it looked.
Curious about how things have changed with the system now that he's got his body back, he took a look.

"...Wait. I can't use mana?" he blurted out loud. "Does that mean I can't use the supernatural powers of this world? The powers of those gods?" He thought incredulously, his eyes wide in disbelief. That couldn't be right. Was this because he didn't come from this world? Even then, his body was created in this multiverse, so he shouldn't have that problem. Then what is it? Why couldn't he use mana? Thinking back, he did remember when he first entered the multiverse. Taking a look at his records, he moved all the way back to when he first got integrated.

"The partial system activation forceful gave me the system without the proper procedures. Since I have gained a suitable body and already have the system, it skipped the process of creating supernatural veins for my body..." Lucian grimaced as he finished those words.
"FUCK!"
"What can I even do now?! In a world of mana with no mana, I'm completely useless! Everything here is made of mana, and to not have it means I'm practically handicapped..." he said to himself, his mind in disarray.
"No, I need to calm down. I'm sure there is a solution to this problem. I won't let this affect my path back home," he said, reigning in his tumultuous emotions.
"There has to be a way to gain supernatural veins somehow. All I have to do is find it..." he said as he sighed to himself. This journey was getting worse by the minute. He tried to stay optimistic.
"On a more positive note, my stats have already reached their limit. All I need is a catalyst to upgrade them," he said to himself.
"In the meantime, let's see what title I gained' he opened up the Title section.
