I rose up on the bed and stretched my sore body.
Staring at the side of the bed reveals a naked red head still sound asleep. I gave her head a pat before walking to my wardrobe to wear a good ol pair of loose shirt and short. Can't beat something I am familiar with since living on earth as a student on the dorm.
Now adorned with the familiar clothes, I exit the room and walk downstairs. There I saw Velvet already cooking breakfast while Elly cleaning her sword as she sat on the sofa at the living room.
Honestly it is a great idea to make the entire first floor visible on the stairway and hallway from the second floor. It makes me feel oddly fluffy as I see the two doing their business.
I immediately sat beside Elly which made her look at me and smile before greeting me.
"Good morning Eris."
I smiled at her before giving her head a pat.
"Good moring to you too Elly."
She simply smiled as she felt my hand caress her head.
She even let her legs sway happily as she continue cleaning her short sword.
I let go of her head making her pout a little and go to the kitchen. There I see Velvet humming as she pan fry some left over rice. I snuggle behind her but this time without any teasing since she is busy cooking.
She tensed a bit upon my contact but she simply smiled as I can see form her side since I am peeking form her shoulder.
"Fried rice?"
"Yep. Figured you want to eat a lot every morning love."
Yes. Every now and then Velvet started calling me that. That said, she only do that if it is just us. She still feel shy whenever someone is watching so that is understandable.
"I'm excited." I told her in which she just smiled and replied "you should be."
I went back to the living room and plop my back on the other free sofa. I stare at the ceiling as I start thinking my plans for today.

It took me few seconds as the system seemed to count all the stats to be added which is a great total of 444 and yes all of that added to my luck stat resulting to a total of 1348.
I found my eyes and mouth wide a gasp as I stare at my new status.

I stare at my stats as if I can't believe what just happened.

This made me think for a good while before finally swallowing up my own spit.

As soon as I heard the confirmation, a white light appeared in front of me. Elly got surprised that she even dropped her sword. Upon hearing the *clang* sound on the floor, Velvet holding a plate even peaked from the other side of the wall.
The light soon fade revealing a semi transparent blue colored die with blank sides floating infront of me.
I sat on the sofa properly and with my right hand, I held on the said die.
The die suddenly changed colors. From semi transparent blue it suddenly turned into bloody red color. Elly's face frown when she saw the sinister glow it reveals as it sat on the top of my palm open wide for them to see.
I look at the new die only to see a bloody red die with an icon that resembles "wings?"
I hold it with my fingers as I spin it around looking at all sides. It only show the same icon.
Seconds later the system prompts me again.

"Wait. ICARUS? That icarus?" I yelled at the air as I heard the name.
"Eris? What's wrong?" Elly started walking towards me before getting settled beside me.
"Ah sorry. I just got surprised in the name." I replied to dismiss her concern.
"Did you know that? Icarus something?" She asked again.
"Err... I read somewhere before. It is said that Icarus 'fly too close to the sun' but I'm surprised it's one of the evil series. Well certainly it pertains to being ambitious or greedy but."
I simply stare at the status panel asking me if I wish to use it.
"Atleast you got a new skill right? Isn't that a good thing?" Velvet said before returning to the kitchen deciding nothing bad happening.
"I guess... Oh well sure."

If the knowledge I know is the same, does that mean it creates a literal wings? But I can use it to fly very high? If so why the need for one if I already have the flight skill?)
"Oh well. We can just try it out later. At the dungeon!"
I said looking at Elly nod at my side.
I am really excited because a lot of days passed with me doing nothing but lazing around at this house. I wonder what kind of adventure are waiting for us~
