Dungeons.

Dungeons are structures scattered around the world of Dicera. Everyone have different opinions in regards to said structure. However everyone have single opinion they can all agree.

Rewards.

No matter the kind of dungeon there is always a reward upon accomplishment.

Be it honor, fame, riches, power. Anyone who cleared dungeons always receive such graces.

That said dungeons are by far not the safest place.

There may be some with safe challenge but you can expect that dungeons provide trials and those who pass them shall obtain something of equal value.

This is all true in the world of Dicera. Ever since dungeons appeared in this land, many dicers, many living beings dived in.

Expecting for riches, hoping for power, dreaming of becoming a hero.

But not all emerged victorious. After all dungeons are dungeons.

Death.

That's right. The death rate of dungeons may be lower that success rate but that doesn't mean dungeons can bw scoffed at. Thanks to trials that is provided by the dungeons, everyone who entered suffered one way or another.

And that said dungeon made another appearance here at zone 2.

"Alright. Done preparing."

I tucked in all the stuff to my greed's bag which is a huge help. We can bring a lot of things in our journey without suffering from weight issues.

I head down from my room and met everyone at the living room.

Elly now fixing our tents since they need to be disassembled and reassembled when used. Emy counting our food packs and drink bottles. We need to ensure it can last for a long time.

Thankfully greed's bag inventory halts time inside so no food will spoil that's for sure.

Emy then divide all the foods and drinking bottles to four. Dividing them all to each of us. This is suggested by Gerald earlier for various reasons.

"The trials might separate everyone."

His words earlier made it clear enough that we need to assume that we will move individually.

I plopped on the sofa as I watch them prep. Velvet just finished bathing as she head out the shower. Now wearing towel above her wet body she tiptoeing to her room.

*Fufufu*

I let out a few chuckles as I watch her trying her best to walk slowly to avoid slipping.

Elly finally done prepping the tents hand one to each of us. Of course she left Velvet's in the table since she is still on her room changing clothes.

Emy on the other hand, done dividing the foods and drinks leaving them at the center table, joined me and lay on the sofa. I let my lap become her pillow as she made herself comfortable.

My hand found itself gently combing her hair with my fingers as she enjoy the warmth of my thighs.

Elly made a little puffy face as she pouts when she notice her sister enjoying a lap pillow.

She finished placing the disassembled tents to the ground and hurried to my other side. She then sat beside me and let her head rest on my shoulder. I simply smiled at her as my other hand started giving her a pat on the head.

The two sisters look at each other before laughing.

I glanced at the two before joining the laugh session.

"Dork" elly said as she poke her sisters cheeks.

"Same as you" emy replied as she poke Elly's sides in return.

"Of course. You two are sisters." I added as I enjoy the two one at my lap one at my side enjoying my shoulder.

We laughed again as we didn't notice Velvet now standing behind me.

Or perhaps Emy already knew since she is obviously capable of watching anything staring behind me.

"Stop slacking!"

Velvet flop her palm on my head feeling a bit hurt I quickly urged the two to stand and hand over the divided materials.

The two sisters laughed at me before they finally rose from the sofa and started to hand over the food, drinks and tent to me in which I quickly stuffed them all to my storage.

With now done dividing the items, we all now ready to go.

Gerald wave at us from the hallway at 2nd floor which is visible form the living room.

We all waved back before heading out. Of course without saying "we'll be back!" Now leaving the house.

Elly now leading the way to the temple, we found ourselves walking under the hot scorching sun.

"Damn this hot..." I groan.

Velvet hands over a cold towel from her inventory.

"Use this." She said as I saw her doing exactly the same.

I wrapped the cold towel on my neck instantly feeling the cold feeling of bliss.

"Aaahhh..."

I felt myself melting from the pleasure.

Emy also asked for one. Even Elly slowed down to match us and asked Velvet making her laugh a little.

Now the four of us with cold towel wrapped on our neck hurried to the said temple or rather dungeon.

Minutes later a stone structure revealed.

(Wow. They have marble here?)

I asked myself as I see myself appreciating the beauty of this temple.

Elly and Emy with their hand on each stone door started pushing it open.

Inside reveals a pillar with four crystal balls on each side.

I instantly found myself standing infront of the said crystal as I stare at it.

(Semi transparent glass like ball huh. Is this like one of those snow globe or something?)

As I am about to touch it, Elly grabbed my hand quickly.

I looked at her only to see her angry.

"In dungeon do not touch anything until we are sure it's safe!" She said as she started scolding me.

"But you guys checked it already right?"

"That may be the case this time but it's better to tell you now." She explained.

I quickly nod as I understand their point. Clearly not making this drag longer.

Elly then let go of my hand as she urged us all to stand infront of each crystal balls.

Now each of us facing one she started speaking again.

"Gerald told me that this crystal balls might be the entrance. Seeing there is four I think it is safe to assume each of us have one."

We all nod in agreement.

"Now then. Just to be safe should one of touch it first or all together at same time." She asked.

"I think it's better to do it together. In case that this is a group trial. I fear one might get separated if we touched the ball separately." I said.

"Might be true... I agree with Eris." Velvet said

"Then let's do it like that." Elly said as she saw Emy nod at the other side.

"On my count let's touch it together okay?"

We all gave a nod as we look at her prompting her to start.

I found myself gulping my own saliva as I am expecting something.

I felt time stopped as if it's about to run forward like what you feel when the roller coaster you're riding hits the highest point before the drop down insane speed.

"Go!"

On her signal we quickly touched the crystal ball.

The ball suddenly lights up. Bright white blue light spread in the room enveloping each of us. After the light dissipates, no one remained in the said temple.

Only the crystal balls remain.
