If you are wondering what's happening right now then it is wise to go back for a few hours before everything started.

"Everyone settle down! The academy are about to announce something!" A voice forced everyone in the main lobby to stop.

A bunch of important looking staff came out of the meeting room followed by a couple of teachers including bern. They all stand straight together before a slim man with a cane walks infront of us all.

"Greetings everyone. As of now the academy received information regarding the possibility of monster stampede occuring few hours from now. And we regret to inform you that this information is correct. Please we encourage everyone here provide help as we all now about to defeat those monsters for the peace of zone 1." He urged us as he bows infront.

Murmurs starts to echo on the main lobby as different dicers provide different opinions. This went on until someone raised a hand to ask.

"What about the nature singularity?" The witch looking woman asked.

(Nature singularity? Who is that?)

"Unfortunately she is currently facing something as we speak. We are notified that she will return as soon as possible. Until then we are planning to hold a united front." The man replied.

Murmurs starts again after the exchange which made me wonder.

"Who is this nature singularity?" I asked while looking at velvet.

"Oh makes sense that you don't know her yet. She is kinda like the protector of zone 1. She is one of the 6 singularities recorded." Velvet replied in a low voice enough for me to hear.

"I see."

(So there is a singularity protecting this place which is why they call zone 1 as the safest.)

After few minutes the man with a cane spoke again.

"Attention please fellow dicers. Our zone are at dire time because our protector are facing something else as we speak. We would like to ask anyone who is willing to help. We are willing to offer rewards for said dicers granted we lived to see another day."

"Tell us about the enemy we are facing first!"

"That's right!"

A young man answered from the crowed followed by voices agreeing to his demand.

"Very well. According to kur information there is a large possiblity of facing hundreds to thousands of goblins combined by various monsters from area 7-10."

"That much?" An old man from the crowd reacts.

"Unfortunately that is a possibility. That is why we are now here to ask for helpers. Time is of essence. If anyone are willing to help please remain here. As for those who are not, don't worry we won't held you responsible. So please leave now and those who will help stay here." The man asked as two academy personnel opens the door that leads to exit.

A lot of them started walking out while me and my party walked on the corner to discuss.

"What's the plan Eris?" Velvet asked me.

"Eh? Why do I get to decide?"

"Well you are the leader right?" Elly replied.

"SINCE WHEN?" I got surprised from the revelation.

"Just say the word Eris." Emy holds my hand as I feel hers shaking.

(Emy and Elly. Although they leave the choice to me I feel they are still afraid.)

"Maybe we should just leav-"

"If you are deciding based on our fears then please stop. We are now a party so please decide not for the individual but for the group." Elly stopped me right away when she noticed my worried face.

"That's right. With you as our main weapon we can survive this I'm sure. " Velvet replies with a grin. "Surely our grind addicted leader won't lets such event pass by right?" Velvet added.

"You guys..." I think for a while before deciding... "Alright we will join this okay? Consider this a booth camp."

"Yes!" Everyone replied.

"But what's a bootcamp?" Elly asked tilting her head.

"A booth camp is like a group activity where everyone grows together." A man walks to our group and answered the question.

"You are?" Velvet asked raising her brows.

"Oh sorry for joining your conversation ladies. I simply can't help but answer a question from such a cute lady. "The name's edward a humble member of the sword of victory party.

The man bows elegantly before a woman smacks his head causing him to fall face flat on the floor.

"Sorry about him. He is such a flirt." The woman bows her head.

"Don't mind it. That said sword of victory? Where did I hear that name..." I replied.

"Hey Eris!"

"He...hello again Eris."

Two guys walked towards our party.

"Oh it's you two. Nills and cane right?" I asked the two with a smile.

"Yep we met again." Cane replied.

"Thanks again fo... For the help last time." Nills bows his head.

"Don't worry about it." I urged him to stop bowing.

"Do you know them Eris?" Emy asked while staring at my face.

"Hoho someone is jelly" velvet grins at the two of us.

"Jelly? That's food right?" Elly asked curiously.

"That is a term used to describe someone feeling jeal- aww! Stop hitting me" edward yells in pain after getting hit again by the lady.

"Idiot that is something that should be hidden. Stop spoiling everything.!" She added.

"Err... Don't mind it elly. As for you question Emy I met then once when I went to grind and sir bern asked me to help him teach this lads how to kill monsters efficiently." I answered.

"Hmmm..." Emy looking at me.

"I'm not lying geez." I replied again defensively.

"Well let's leave it at that." Velvet grins "we should focus on the task st hand first.

"That's right. Our party decided to stay for help. What about you guys?" I look at cane and nills.

"Our party too sword of victory will stay isn't that right rin?" Cane looks at the lady hitting edward.

"That's right. Can't pass this moment to have extra exp and rewards just by simply helping." She explained.

"Attention to all dicers who remained. Please come forward so we can discuss the plan." The man said.

Everyone come towards him which is divided by party. There are a total of 6 party inside the lobby. Including my party and the sword of victory party we are tasked to protect designated areas. While my party and the sword of victory party are now listening to bern.

"The two party will accompany me and we will dive towards the cave in area 12. I take it you two know each others right?" Bern said while looking at me and Rin.

"Yep. We spoke earlier." I replied.

"Yes." Rin replied.

"Then that saves time. Here is the plan. We will head to area 12 via teleportation area. Then me and the sword of victory will head inside to scout the place and look for the target while Eris' party will stay at the cave entrance to protect us. We need to be quick so the monster won't flood us inside the cave. Incase of emergency we have this item called "emergency teleportation medallions." By shouting teleport the user will be returned here at academy right away. Are there any questions?" Bern looks at us.

"None so far." I replied.

"Same here." Rin replied.

"Then let's head right away." Bern waved at us to follow him towards the teleportation area and we all went to area 12. After saying goodbyes bern and the other group head inside while my group stayed inside the entrance.

Our battle plan is like this. Velvet will face anyone coming in the cave with Emy on her back while I will use my flare and frost incase there will be a lot of enemies while Elly will guard my back to avoid flank incase there are also a lot of enemies from inside.

Minutes passed and no monsters in sight yet.

"Hope this stayed like this." Elly sighs.

"That's a huge flag right now Elly." I said while patting elly's head.

"Flag?" Elly asked curiously.

"It's something like what you said might happen but in opposite." Velvet added.

And just as when velvet replied. A large group of goblins and munkey are found running towards the entrance alerting everyone.

"Monsters incoming. Prepare your skills Eris!" Velvet change moods and now facing the enemies with her parasol open while Emy hides behind Velvet.

"Wait. Let them close a little so they are all in range!" I replied.

"Got it."

"Here I will use my new skill. Forcefield!" Emy activates her skill enveloping the two in a barrier.

The first batch of goblins enters emy's skill range which knocks them back tumbling on the ground.

"Frost!" I unleashed my aoe skill instantly turning the ground infront of Velvet frozen followed by the legs of goblins and munkeys frozen in contact.

"Wait for 10 before I unleash the flare!" I shouts at them.

"Got it. Taunt!" Velvet replied and activates her skill taunt making all the monsters look at her direction as they slowly crawl and move towards her.

(I noticed when I use frost my other skills receives a 10 countdown before I can use them. Maybe non beginner skills can't be used successively.)

"Alright skill ready push them back!" I shouts.

"Go... Got it. Umm... Air!" Emy use the skill air which is from the beginner skill set lushing the enemies close to them away.

"Flare!" I follow suit with my favorite skill which is added with conditions and now saved in my flash cast.

Flame explodes infront of them which is followed by another explosion. This went on 5 times including the initial explosion which happened around the first target. Effectively clearing the first batch of monsters.

-Eris defeated 14 goblins and 5 3 eyed munkeys-

"Another batch incoming!" Velvet screams as another group of goblins and munkeys appears."

This went on so many times as we are now tired. Velvet with one knee on the ground while Emy supporting her now look annoyed when they saw another group incoming.

"That's it." I snapped.

I walk towards the two and pat them on their shoulder before walking infront of them.

"Eris?" Velvet asks.

"Just rest there. I need to enjoy myself now." I answered with a wide grin on my face.

(This bastards are annoying so let's just enjoy the free exp instead.)

"Frost!"

"Flare!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA KEEP COMING YOU FOODS TOWARDS ME! HAHAHAHAHA"

my voice roars infront of the cave as I keep on freezing and burning every single monsters coming.

-Eris defeated 68 goblins and 46 3 eyed munkeys-

"Huff... Hufff." I groan while laying down on the ground now my head resting on Emy's lap as she gently rubs my head.

"Finally tired?" Elly asked while looking at me smiling happily.

"Yeah! Best day ever!" I replied while raising my hand with a huge smile on my face after facing hundreds alone.

"Seriously... If that is not addiction I don't know what is." Velvet sighs before handing an energy potion.

"Here drink this."

"Thanks." I drank the potion instantly giving me strength again. I quickly stand up and jump around to test.

"Wow I feel strong again." I look at them.

"Well that's an energy potion." Elly replied.

"Anyways it's been hour already and there are no reply yet. What do we do?" Elly looks at me while pointing at the cave.

"Let's wait for a while longe-. Wait someone is coming."

We all ready ourselves as I told them someone is about to exit.

There Rin walks slowly towards us full of wounds.

Elly runs towards her to help.

"What happened?" I asked Rin.

"Inside... There is a huge slime. It's supposed to be a normal large slime but..." *Cough* *cough* "it defeated us... Everyone, Even sir bern forced to use the medallions." Rin explains as she coughs up blood.

"Then why are you still here?" I asked while making her drink a health potion."

"Thanks..." She drinks the potion. "Phew... I need to inform you guys before escaping too. Luckily the slime moves very slowly which is why I managed to escape."

"So that's why."

"So what's the plan?" Elly looks at me.

"That's all I want to do. I'm going back now. Take it easy guys." She waves at us before using the medallion.

"Shall we check it out?" I looked at them.

"Are you serious?" Velvet looked at me worried.

"Yep. And besides we have medallions. If needed we can just return to academy using this." I explained.

"We trust you Eris." Elly answers as she hugs my right arm.

"Yes. We will follow you." Emy also hug my left arm.

"Darn you and your harem. Fine let's go." Velvet sighs.

"Alright! One slime to defeat and let's head back to celebrate!" I raise my hand and cheer them up to increase moral as we all head inside the cave.
