I'm on my way to the academy to sell the drops yesterday.

(I only learned about selling drops a while ago. Too bad I left the drops I had before only if I have storage before.) I thought to myself with a sigh as I reached the academy.

"Hello there young lady."

"Hey there beautiful lady."

"Good day to the both of you~" I replied happily.

This two always greets me when I enter academy. After few days we all got closer enough to call out when they are not working.

"Looks like the haul are good yesterday huh?" Said by the older guard standing on the right side of the gate.

"Yep. I overkilled a bit." I replied while scratching the back of my head a little embarrassed.

"Whoa lassy you're a little scary despite that cute face of yours." Said by the guard on the left.

"Oh yeah? Maybe I should tell velvet later." I replied with a grin.

"Come on it's just a joke beautiful lady. Don't do that she might not leave food again for me at dinner later." He begged.

I simply smiled at him then head in while waving at them. Inside I went to the counter right away.

"Selling again miss Eris?"

"Yep you know it." I replied to her with a wink.

The lady in the counter is called Alis. I get to know her after selling few days in a row now.

"Since you can farm a lot now why not try taking some quests in area 7 or 8 now?" She recommended.

(Honestly the thought crossed my mind already but I got hooked in grinding exp. Maybe it's time to try that.)

"Sure. Any recommendations for starters?" I asked.

"Well if it's level wise fighting goblins are good. They have low intelligence and are humanoid so it will also serve as a great combat experience. That said with their large numbers it's hard to go solo. If no fighting maybe try gathering herbs. Although gathering quests are good for scouts only if you don't want to fight." She explained.

"Scouts? Are that something like jobs?"

"Oh never heard of class yet?" She asked.

"Nope. Didn't heard that in survival and combat experience class yet."

"Oh you won't hear that there. Because this is in the primary jobs class. Well allow me to give you a rundown instead if you want." She asked.

"Yes please." I replied to her.

"Long story short, there are primary class accessible for all dicers. Anyone can freely choose the primary class they want. That said any dicers can only use one class. And speaking of classes there are different levels of class. Mainly divided into three." She said.

"Those are?"

"First is primary class. Classes here doesn't have any requirements and can be chosen freely by anyone. Among those are scout I mentioned earlier. Second is middle class. This class are a level higher than primary class and to unlock one you need to get the "key". For example one of our teacher here named bern uses a middle class called "machine lord" all it's skills are mostly related to machines especially his ultimate skill known by every here called "march of machines" literally acts like stampede leaving the trail clean. And lastly are called High class. This is the pinnacle of the class known atleast. To unlock one is a mystery. At the very least we only know that a special dice is needed. According to this area's singularity you need to have a rusty looking dice which then shows it's power once you hold it. And the special thing about high class is once you got one you can't change it anymore. Although high class are outside other class." She claimed.

"Why is that?" I asked.

"Because once you can use a high class you will be able to use one more middle or primary class."

"I thought you said only one class allowed?" I asked

"Yes and that's true. But dicers with high class are an exception. That is why there are two terms or titles used when speaking about dicers with high class."

Gulp."and those are?" I asked.

"Singularity and Royals." She said.

"I heard about singularity before but what's the difference?"

"Singularity pertains to those with ability akin to calamity while Royals are those who reached the limit. One can only be a Royal if they reach the level limit 999. While anyone can be a singularity if they have powers that are deemed so."

"And I forgot to mention earlier. Although Royals look stronger than Singularity there is a huge difference among the two." She said.

"That is?" I asked curiously.

"Only a singularity can affect a singularity."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm saying skills of a singularity can only be blocked by a fellow singularity. Atleast that's what everyone knows. This is proven already since many Royals and Singularity already fought once. That said there are only 6 singularity and 20 Royals right now. So don't worry that much. Low leveled dicers like us can't hope to meet one." She added.

"I see. Thanks for the explanation. Maybe I should take a primary class first before taking a quest."

"Yes do that. Class can help you much. You can get one by going in the office. At the third floor class office. You can read the name at the door."

"Thanks."

I waved at her then head up to the third floor. There I saw a room right away with the door sign labeled "primary class office" so I knocked right away.

"Come in." A voice replied.

"Excuse me" I said before opening the door.

Inside is just a man probably in his thirties sitting. Infront are two long chairs with a table probably where he serves guests.

"Dont just stand there and sit." He said.

"Thank you." I replied and sit right away. "Umm..."

" You're here for primary class right?" He asked.

"Yes."

"Got it. Allow me to explain first before we continue."

"Please do."

"Ahem. There are many primary class. And it's divided based on the role. So first allow me to ask you which do you prefer. Frontline? Middleline? Backline?"

"Well..."

(Honestly I prefer backline to cast magic easily but being to far at the back will make it hard to go on offensive since I need to check the rear too so maybe middle one works.)

"I think middleline works." I answered.

"Good. Next magic skills or weapons skills?"

"Magic skills are like fireballs right?, if so magic skills please."

"Then lastly offensive, support buffer, support debuffer, support healer?" He asked.

"Sorry may I ask what are buffers and debuffers?" I asked.

"Buffers are those who strengthens the allies while debuffers are those who weakens the enemy."

"Then offensive please."

"Perfect there is one primary class suited for you. It's called magician. They focus on using offensive magic only. It varies into aoe or area of effect type of skills that target multiple enemies or single target skills that deals high damage. Their skills all scales with mental stat." He explains.

"I see."

(Well in my case it will scale on my luck damn it Dicera.)

"Then magician class please."

"Okay it costs 500 gold." He said as he takes out a brown dice with witch hat symbols.

I paid 500 gold and take the dice.

"Phew I got the magician class now." I said after listening to the system prompts in my head.

"Congratulations now you are also one of the primary class holders."

"Thank you. May I ask though what's the difference of dual cast, flash cast to skill conditions?"

"Oh you learned from survival class right?"

"Yes."

"That's because im flash cast you can instantly use a skill you used before. You just need to create a skill with conditions and named them using flash cast so you can reuse them again. The number of skills you can save in flash cast will increase the higher the skill level. And to increase it's level you just need to keep on using it. As for dual cast you can literally use two skills at once. In condition you need to specify the connections or order of the skill to use right? But in dual cast if combined with flash cast you do it twice in a single time." He explained.

"Oh certainly it will make this faster."

"That's right. Now then feel free to test those skills you get and maybe take a quest? Although we advice to join a party than heading out." He added.

"Thanks. Will do."

"Great. You can check the lobby there are bunch of people looking for party members there."

"I will." I replied before heading out the office.

(Now then. Guess I will head to the lobby.)

I walk downstairs till the first floor and head to the very left part of the building. There I saw the lobby. It's a large spacious room with many food stalls. It resembles a large cafeteria or food court which is understandable looking at hoe many dicers are here chatting. Some of them even calling out.

(Let's try walking around first.)

Is what I said to myself. But what actually happened next is just me buying foods in the stall and eating. Till I notice the table I'm sitting now got a bunch of foods mainly sandwiches, meats and drinks.

"Mou... I told you we can't do it with just the two of use sis."

"My bad. I thought we can do it with just the two. And besides we don't have money to pay the inn later. What do we do?"

"I don't know..."

(I can hear you guys... This two siting at the table behind me looks troubled. Maybe I should ask them)

"Do you still have money sis?"

"Not even enough to pay for the inn later." She replied followed by her stomach growling which I even heard in my sit.

(Aa... Now she is red from embarrassment.)

"Umm... Do you two want some?" I asked as I turn around and asked the two.

-few minutes later-

"So your name is Eris?" The taller one with short red hair asked while chowing down on her steak.

"Yes. Just call me that. And no need for formality It's stuffy." I replied while drinking my juice.

"Sorry for my sister." The smaller one with red long twintails replied.

"It's fine don't worry. Anyways may I ask your names?" I asked.

"Oh we haven't introduced ourselves yet. I am Elly Torns and my sister is Emy Torns. The two of us formed a party but it's hard..." She stand and introduce herself and her sister.

"I see." I replied while drinking.

"We are renting a room in moonlight you see but we have a problem with the payment so uh.. we took the job but it's hard." Emy said as she continue eating.

"Don't be so brash sister." She said as Elly wipes her mouth with a clean cloth. "Anyways my class is fencer and my sister is a cleric. Although normally speaking our class are good enough it's just... My sister are afraid of blood."

"Eh? I seriously thought your sister is you know..." I said surprised while looking at the two.

"Yep. Her image is different from how she actually is. So she always yells "NOOO!" every time I kill monsters." She explained with a sigh.

"I can't help it after what happened to our parents." Emy replied while stuffing her face with food.

"Did something happen?" I asked curiously.

"We lost our parents few years ago. It's just that... They are killed infront of sis." Elly said.

I noticed Emy slowed down eating after hearing Elly.

"Sorry if I made you guys remember." I apologized with a bow of my head.

"Don't worry. It's a long time ago. And i don't feel bad about it." Emy stand and urged me to rise my head. "Its just every time I see blood I remember what I saw that day so..." She added.

"I see." I return to my sit. "Then... Can I join your party?" I asked.

"Eh? Are you sure?" Elly asked surprised.

"Sure. Since I'm solo. Also my class is magician so I can help you guys." I added.

"Not only you gave us food you even want to help us..." Elly starts tearing up as she holds my hands.

"Of course you are welcome Eris. Also thanks for the food it was delicious." Emy said as she wipes her face after eating.

"Thanks. I don't know where to ask for a party luckily I talked to you guys. Oh by the way I am also staying at the moonlight inn." I added.

"Really? We never met you once there." Emy surprised.

"Well I only return every night since I am grinding a lot of drops." I wink at them.

"Well considering you pay for all of this I can certainly see that." Elly replied.

"Well then shall we go? Oh by the way why don't we all just stay at one room then? There is a room in moonlight inn with 4-5 persons after all." I suggested as I stand and start heading out the lobby with the two following me.

"Well... Honestly we are in the red financially so if we all pay for one room we are benefitting in it. But are you sure?" Elly asked worried.

"Hey we will be party now right? Let's make it for a long time. Besides you two are good people so I don't mind. In fact why don't we become a permanent team?" I asked.

"Now hold your horses Eris. I'm worried you will get scammed later." Emy said.

"That's right Eris. You are kind but it will be bad if we fool you right?" Elly added.

"Are you guys planning to do that?" I asked.

"No!" The two replied right away.

"Then it's all good." I slowed my pace and walk between the two humming.

"Seriously..." Elly sighed after hearing my reply.

"Let's leave that for now and do a quest. See for yourself first and decide

later okay?" Emy said.

"Sure I don't mind." I replied.

"Then let's go!" Emy walked with arms placed over my shoulders.

"Emy" elly asked worried after her sister just did but stopped after seeing me laughing with Emy.
