Kurama's POV;

The first wave of Ninja was reaching the coast when a second wave jumped off of their ships. So now there were trice as much Ninja on their side, then on ours. And those are most likely also better trained.

Good that we have the advantage in position and seals on our side. Or Dex-kun and I would have stepped in with more seriousness than what we show now.

“Fire when half of them are in range, we don't want them to find out where our maximum range lies too fast”, I ordered casually and the officer next to me gave the order to his troops.

Two minutes of intense waiting for our troops past before enough were in range and then hell broke lose on the Kumo Ninja. We've put more than only the Kunai cannons of Spring into the cliff.

There were also our artillery and other seal weapons Uzu has designed. Lightning is weak against wind and strong against earth. Sadly we were not able to create seals that would produce air bullets at such distances. But highly compressed water and fireballs were possible.

And the latest upgrade to our Kunai cannons allowed us to give them a weak element. This, of course, was wind in this case. It would not be strong enough to do much against a lightning Jutsu, but the Kunai flew faster than before and hit more their targets more often.

Each defence position has a team of five to supply the seals with Chakra and reload the Kunai cannon. And we have build 350 of such positions placed all over the cliff.

The barrage of deadly metal hit the first line of Ninja and most died with their bodies full of Kunai.

The second line did not fare better and only the third was able to even think about starting to deflect the incoming attack.

But how to defend against dozens of Kunai per second who were all as fast as a high Chunin could throw? The more skilled ones were able to deflect for some seconds but then were hit by the slower fireballs that were following from behind.

And the more intelligent ones dived under water and tried to escape the attack. Not that such a thing would help. There were seal arrays inside the water that would give everyone a deadly electrical shock who even came close to them. Only a Jonin who specialised in lighting Chakra control had a chance of deflecting those.

Yet only those who truly were good showed how it was done. They deflected the Kunai by either using the dead bodies of their comrades as shields or raised an earth shield that they held in front of them.

“I would have thought that we have more problems”, commented Kushina from my right side.

“I too, I mean we are only using Kunai so far. The heavier seals are only usable once they hit the shore”, agreed Mikoto from my left. And it indeed was strange how these Kumo Ninja died by the hundreds without putting up much of a fight. And a lot of them even lost their calm and were running away. Inside the massive whirlpools beside them or back.

A quick scan of their Chakra showed me why. “Those are mostly Genin. Their Chakra levels aren't high enough to be anything else. I think they send them first to test our defence”, I informed them.

“Cruel but effective”, muttered Kushina. I nodded in agreement. I would have sent clones rather than real troops but it seems that Kumo does not think like I do.

“Now what? The next wave is almost in reach and a third is also coming”, asked Mikoto. A scan of their Chakra showed me that the second wave mostly consists out of Chunin with a few Jonin and the third, the smallest of the three, held mostly Jonin.

“The second wave has Chunin and the third Jonin. I'm sure that the Chunin will try another approach and the Jonin are here to take out the heavy defenders”, I said and glanced out into the sea. Dex-kun was still fighting B, the sound of their attacks was reaching us and the shock waves that were created by their clash was blowing wind at us.

Dex-kun was toying with him, he is not even using a third of his powers.

“Kurama? Can you look for any Chakra in our surrounding? Maybe they send a group before and sneaked up on us. It wouldn't be good for us to get attacked from the back”, asked Mikoto. I said nothing and spread out my senses. I didn't try to sense their Chakra. I am not as good as Dex-kun and if there was someone sneaking up on us then he surely was suppressing his Chakra.

I rather tried to sense negative emotions directed at me or the people around me. And indeed there were twenty such signatures only a few hundred meters from our camp. Now with their position, I could also feel their Chakra easier and found out that those twenty were of high Jonin rank in terms of Chakra capacity.

“There are twenty Jonin to our south-east maybe three hundred meters. I think they will try to place bombs inside the cliff”, I answered and turned towards the intruders.

“Twenty Jonin?!”, asked the Spring Ninja commander in shock. Oh right, Spring only has a hundred or so Jonin who are all only a little bit stronger than a strong Chunin from Kumo.

“We three will take care of them”, I said and looked at the ANBU commander from Uzu before saying;” You have command until we are back”. He saluted and waited before I, Mikoto and Kushina were gone to give commands.

“How many of them are you able to take on at the same time?”, I asked while walking.

“Maybe six, any more and it will get troublesome”, estimated Kushina with a shrug. This means eight for me, good.

“Good, I take the strongest and closest seven to him. I will give each of you some of my Chakra, Dex-kun wouldn't want you to die”, I then said and gave the two women a Chakra cloak with two tails. Kushina might be able to handle a third, but Mikoto will certainly not. A fourth would even be too much for Kushina without her facing her inner demons.

“Ah, I love the feeling of your Chakra, it's so warm”, purred Kushina now shrouded in a red fox cloak.

“Only because I withheld the corrosive effect of the cloak. Otherwise, it would feel like acid is splashed on your body”, I said with a small grin and enjoyed the now slightly fearful look in her eyes.

“But you won't stop doing that, am I right?”, she asked. I only increased my grin and raced off towards the Kumo Ninja.

Third Person's POV;

C could feel Chakra, he was a sensor and he was one of the best sensors in Kumo. That was why he was also one of the best for missions behind the enemy lines. He could hide his Chakra like no one else in Kumo and at the same time sense anyone that will come in his path.

But what he was sensing since the start of his mission in Spring was terrifying. There were four Ninja with Chakra levels of a Kage. Two of them way weaker than the Raikage, but two of them with a lot more Chakra than even Lord B.

And the biggest one was now fighting Lord B out in the sea. And by the output of his reserves, he wasn't even denting his well. The other extremely high Chakra presence stayed back and then suddenly turned towards him and his group.

C knew that they were found and reacted quickly. He ordered to let any subterfuge drop and raced with his comrades towards the cliff. Their mission was to blow the cliff up and destroy the defence positions of the enemy.

They knew that the chance of everyone's survival was zero once they activated the bombs, but now it was even questionable if they could even finish their mission.

Then suddenly the two weaker Kages, and that is something strange to think, got shrouded in the Chakra of the third one. Their Chakra level increased almost trice and burned with such an intensity that C was sure he would be able to see their Chakra with the naked eye.

And the next second he found himself flying away from where he only stood a second ago. His face was hurting like a bitch and the second strongest Chakra he has ever felt was now exactly where he was.

A comrade further back caught him and he healed his broken nose before looking forward. There stood the Chakra monster. It was a beautiful woman with long white hair, slitted red eyes, fox ears and ten tails. She wore a tight fighting uniform and smiled at him and his men with a fanged grin.

Then she vanished in a burst of speed and reappeared in front of him and grabbed his face with one hand. C had barely the time to notice that her nails were like claws before he and seven of his comrades were pulled with Kurama.

Kurama had used her tails to grab the eight strongest Jonin and then jumped further inland to have some fun with them.

She threw them down before landing a few feet away from the group. All of them were good enough to land while standing and immediately started to attack. Three unsheathed their swords, while two began to go through rapid hand seals. The blond guy she has had grabbed with her hand did jump to the back and looked at her with a calculating stare.

°So this is their strategist?°, thought Kurama before smirking. He would have to go first, but a muscular man stood next to him. Clearly for his defence.

°It won't matter°, she further thought and evaded the first sword slash by sidestepping it. The second one came in the form of a pierce and was stopped by her tails, which made the third miss. It was aimed at a place where she would have evaded too.

A flick of her tail ripped the sword out of the Ninja's hands and another twist made it crash into the first one's sword. The guy had recovered from his first attack and tried to follow up.

Then suddenly the three jumped back and the two Jutsu user in the middle shouted “[Lightning Barrage]!”. Dozens of lightning bolts shot out of their hands and raced towards Kurama. They came fast and were almost impossible to evade. So she simply let them hit her tails.

The thick fur did not even singe, but the bolts that missed threw up a cloud of smoke. Which she has every intention to use for her attack.

“She's not dead, stay ready!”, shouted someone from them. How did he know? A sensor or just cautiousness? It didn't matter to her and she shot out of the smoke.

She travelled low and was in front of the blond guy in the blink of an eye. But then a bright light blinded her and Kurama had to close her eyes.

°This bastard blinded me!°, she thought furiously and swiped at the place where she could sense him with three of her tails. A wet sound, followed by two more told her that she hit him.

She then heard that something was thrown at her and used the remaining seven tails to shield herself in a cocoon of fur. Explosions shook the ground outside of her safe bunker and she slowly opened her eyes. They adjusted fast enough and she could see that she had pierced the chest, shoulder and stomach of the blond guy.

He was dead, his heart and left lung was no more. °Serves you right°, she thought and ripped his arms and legs off. Each limb got grabbed by one of her tails and she jumped upwards just after another attack of the remaining seven.

She looked down and saw how six Kunai with paper tags were flying at her. A quick throw put the torso of the dead blond guy between herself and the Kunai and the remains of him exploded in a bloody mist of bones and flesh.

She landed and found herself again under attack. These Kumo Ninja were good if they could take the death of one of their comrades with such ease. But anything had a limit. Theirs were beginning to show when Kurama used the legs and arms of the blond guy to hit one of the sword fighters to death.

She ripped his arms and legs off as well and was now armed with eight limbs. A fury of hits followed and the second sword fighter was overwhelmed he too was hit to death by his comrade's body parts. And he too was ripped apart.

Now Kurama had ten limbs in her tails and two in her hands. Any more and she would need to manifest Chakra limps. But she now saw the fear, disgust and revulsion in the eyes of her enemies.

With a cruel smirk, she moved the arm of a woman to her mouth and took a bite. Human flesh does not taste well raw, but it was good for intimidation.

And it worked, a woman that was part of the two Jutsu user screamed in rage and rushed at her. His remaining two friends followed directly after, also with minds clouded in rage.

She let the limbs in her hands drop and clapped her hands with the woman's head was directly between them. The head was crunched to paste and a bloody mist hit the now only two Jonin of Kumo.

They had to close their eyes to not get blinded and would have jumped back with a calm mind, but now they only got pierced by a tail of Kurama.

Both got impaled and lifted off. The hole in their lower stomach was lethal, but not instantly. So they saw the cruel bloody grin of this monster named Kurama before their head got twisted off by another tail.

Kurama licked the blood off of her lips and giggled like a little girl. °Having a body to crush people is the best! I have to thank Dex-kun thoroughly tonight°, she thought and then skipped back to where Kushina and Mikoto were.

The first has used her Chakra chains to rip the enemy Ninja apart and cut down those who managed to evade with her sword. Mikoto, on the other hand, trapped them in a Genjutsu and sliced their throats before any of them could react. They must not have had a Genjutsu specialist with them.

All three of them went back to the cliff and found Dexter waiting for them.
