Third Person's POV;
It was the day of the finals and a constant stream of visitors trekked to the arena where they young Genin will fight against each other in hope of gaining the rank of Chunin.
Not all, but many of them, held high positions in the government or were feudal lords on their own. But two of the guests were even more important. Those were the Kazekage and the Uzukage.
They came to watch the fights of their Genin who made it into the finals. Namely the three children of the Kazekage and the two Uzushiogakure Genin.
It was for this reason that a group of three came to the gates of Konoha in the morning.
Two were male and one female, the first one, and the one in the lead, was a tall man with a mask that many would find creepy. It was a white skull mask with green lines going vertically through the eyes. He had blond hair with red lines mixed in them, it was spiked and could give Kakashi's hair a run for it's money in its gravity defying look.
His face was fully masked and as such wasn't visible, but his eyes were, they shone in a purple light and had rings with tomoes in them. His clothes were of the traditional Kage style with the hat hanging on his hip.
However, all this was irrelevant for any onlooker, what they first saw and then kept starring on where the nine tails that were swishing behind him and the fox ears on the head of this man.
This was the Uzukage and an enigma for the world of Ninja. Many knew of the revival of Uzushiogakure, but not how it was done, nor who was the Uzukage. They practically did know nothing about this man. Be it his strength, his background or his agenda. So it was understandable that he was greeted by many curious onlookers. Some of them civilians, but most were of Ninja origin. They ranged from Konoha to Kumo and Iwa Ninja. Everyone wanted to learn about this new player and see where they will have to put him in their threat list.
He was followed by two ANBU like Ninja, one of them, the woman, had long red hair and wore a sword on her back. Her face was hidden by a mask that resembled a fox. Her body was clad in ANBU gear with the Uzumaki swirl on the back.
The male wore the same clothes as the female. He had black hair and a dragon mask. There wasn't a visible weapon on him, but there wasn't an ANBU in existence without hidden weapons.
All three were greeted by the eternal Chunin Kotetsu and Izumo, they too were starring at the nine tails.
“Good morning Sir, may we know your name and reason for visiting Konohagakure?”, asked Kotetsu.
“I'm here to see the Genin of Uzushiogakure fight against their peers in the tournament. I'm the Uzukage”, answered the man in a deep and powerful voice.
Many Ninjas under the strength of Jonin were instantly intimidated by his tone. This was because it was Chakra lazed and carried the feeling of submission in it. Those who are hearing this tone have an innate desire to follow this man. And only those with enough Chakra could fight against this without trouble.
It wasn't mind manipulating per se, but got fairly near.
“Ah, right. Of course, an ANBU will guide you to the viewer lobby of the Kage. I wish you a nice stay in Konoha”, said Kotetsu hurriedly and with a low bow. An ANBU dropped down the moment Kotetsu finished his sentence and motioned them to follow him.
On their way, they heard many people speaking with each other. The Uzukage was mostly the main topic and his nine tails. Some adults and older Ninja saw the resemblance to the tails of the Kyuubi. But tried to reason that the Kyuubi brat was dead and that these weren't fox tails, but something different. Probably created by a bloodline.
Those who weren't only looking at his tails and saw his eyes also wondered about them. They never saw a Dojutsu that created this kind of eyes, but then again, there are a lot of bloodlines unknown in this world.
It took the group of four half an hour to reach the arena, as they were walking in a fairly slow pace.
The ANBU directed them to the Kagebox and then left them.
Already inside were the Kazekage with his four guards and the Hokage with Jiraiya as his guard. Behind them on the wall stood five ANBU. The Kazekage was fully hidden in his robes and only his eyes were visible, while the Hokage had nothing that was obscuring his face. He only wore the hat.
“Good evening esteemed fellow Kage”, greeted the Uzukage and both the Kazekage and Hokage stood up to shake his hand.
“Good evening to you to Uzukage, it is a pleasure to finally meet you. You don't know how many rumors there around you”, greeted the Hokage in his grandfatherly tone. Yet, his handshake betrayed his tone. It was strong, stronger than necessary and meant to gauge the strength of this new Kage.
But Dexter, who was, of course, the Uzukage, had none of his limiting seals active and was holding against the iron strong grip of the Hokage.
“Ah yes, I think that might be possible. In my defense I can only say that information is power”, replied Dexter with a twinkle in his purple eyes.
“Yes, that is true. But too much secrecy isn't good as well. People who only hide aren't very trustworthy. Even more so when they hide their face”, agreed the Kazegake and hinted at Dexter's still hidden face. Completely ignroing that he was doing the same.
Orochimaru, who was under the Kazekage's robes, was very interested in Uzushiogakure. His information network wasn't able to gain much on the newly revived Uzushiogakure. And he was delighted to hear that there are still some Uzumaki left. His experiments on their Chakra and their abilities weren't finished when the clan was killed off.

He was also very interested in this Kage. He hoped to gain a chance to acquire this specimen for experiments. His eyes showed power and the hidden skills in them promised to be good. They strongly resembled the Rinnegan that he last saw in Nagato and later the leader of Akatsuki. His tails also showed great potential in a new bloodline that he didn't know off. They looked to be strong enough to be weapons on their own.
Yes, this new player could give him many hours of amusement and fun. Maybe he will have a chance during the invasion?
“The finals will begin in a few minutes, what are your thoughts on the contestants?”, asked Sarutobi in hope to break the uncomfortable silence that fell over them after the Kazekage's statement.
“I'm sure that all of them will show us a good fight. I only wish that my second Genin wouldn't have got the free pass for the first round”, answered the Uzukage, who saw the attempt for what it was nodded towards the Hokage in a show of gratitude.
“Yes, a pity. She can only hope to show her ability during the second round and hope that it was enough to promote her”, agreed Sarutobi. All of them knew that less fighting would mean that there was a lesser chance for promotion.
“I'm sure that my children will win their fights”, was the Kazekage's comment. Orochimaru didn't know much about the children of the previous Kazekage and had to stay vague with his answers.
“Well, all of my Genin are powerful for Genin. Four are even heirs to well-respected clans”, said Sarutobi in an advertisement of his Genin.
“I heard that the last survivor of the Uchiha clan is one of them, what can you tell me about him?”, asked Orochimaru with a side glance at Sarutobi.
“Young Sasuke is indeed participating and has his first fight against your youngest son. He is trained by one of our best Jonin, Hatake Kakashi”, replied the Hokage smugly.
“I'm sure that Gaara will win anyway, he is the strongest Genin in Suna”, was Orochimaru's counter.
“I read the schedule, his fight is the second. Right after the fight of Neji Hyuuga and Dexter Uzuki, is there anything of interest in their fight?”, asked Dexter.
“Oh, indeed there is, Neji is one of the best Gentle Fist users in his generation and hailed as a prodigy by the Hyuuga. Dexter, on the other hand, was the Genin of his year at his graduation and trains under the Green Beast of Konoha”, informed Sarutobi.
“Genin of the year might sound good, but we all know that it doesn't have to mean much, the all seeing eyes of the Hyuuga almost promise a strong Ninja on the other side”, commented Orochimaru. He had hoped to tack Dexter Uzuki with his curse seal during the second exam. A pity that he was the Kyuubi brat all along. It made sense why the solid clone vanished when he tried to seal the Chakra of the original Naruto. He was a blood clone all along and informed the real one where he was.
And he couldn't mark a Jinchuriki with his seal, the Chakra of their Bijuu would destroy his mark.
A pity, really. But maybe he could still be convinced to come to his side? And if not, there are a few experiments he always wanted to try out on a Jinchuriki.
Dexter Uzuki was also strong and showed remarkable control over his Bijuu in their short fight.
“I have the utmost trust in both Neji's and Dexter's skills. They will show us a good fight, of that I am sure”, assured the Hokage. They staid silent for the few remaining minutes.
Then a loud gong sounded throughout the arena and the proctor, Hayate, jumped into the middle.
“May *cough* the participants come *cough* down to the ring?”, he said, his voice was amplified by a microphone.
The participants were slowly tracking down from their viewing platform and lined up. All of them were there, with the exception of Sasuke.
“Seems like the Uchiha is missing”, pointed Dexter out and the Hokage scowled in displeasure.
“He has time until his fight starts, if he's not here by then, then he'll be disqualified”, assured Sarutobi and Orochimaru had a briefly worried look in his eyes.
“*Cough* Well then, may Neji Hyuuga and *cough* Dexter Uzuki stay. The rest will have top wait for their turn”, announced Hayate loudly and the Genin left.

Dexter's POV;
The blood clone is sitting next to the Hokage, good. Now I only have to beat Neji and wait for the invasion to start. If everything goes as canon, then I'll be able to face Gaara in the forest, away from prying eyes.
“You may begin”, said Hayate and jumped away.
“This time faith is on my side Uzuki, you won't win”, declared Neji and instantly activated his Byakugan.
“Seriously? Neji, you never won a fight against me, what makes you believe you will win now?”, I asked with a laugh and noticed how he got angrier.
“Those were only minor fights, faith isn't looking at them as closely as this one. It's my destiny to win and yours to lose”, was his believed reply.
“Stupid child, then what if I win? Is it then suddenly not faith decision for you to win?”, I asked mockingly. He didn't give me an answer but choose to rush at me. Veins bulging and fists ready to strike.
I promptly began with my first strategy and released Chakra in the environment. A storm of blue Chakra swished around me and wisps of it flew through the air.
Neji stopped dead in his track and began to scream while holding his eyes in pain.
°Way more effective than we thought, he must be blinded°, I noted and Kura-chan gave me a none verbal agreement through the link.
I used the given opportunity and rushed at him before he could manage to regain his sight. However, it seemed like he wasn't hailed as good for nothing, the moment I was almost in range, he began to spin rapidly and a dome of white energy formed around him.
This was the Rotation and it would be stupid to run inside of it without the necessary protection.
So I began with my second plan and breathed in deeply, before spitting a wall of fire out. The flames enclosed the sphere fully and the air almost boiled from the heat.
I kept a close watch on the still spinning sphere that was inside the flames and only stopped when it began to flicker.
The flames quickly distinguished without Chakra to fuel them and left was a scorched line with a clean circle in the middle.
Inside this circle was a swaying Neji. He was sweating buckets and panted as if he just finished a marathon. I flicked two Kunai at him and both hit him at the shoulder. He screamed up and the fell down on his back.
Hayate jumped down from his viewing point and looked at Neji. He then looked up to the Kagebox and announced; “Neji Hyuuga isn't able to continue with the fight, the winner is Dexter Uzuki”.
Loud roars of cheering came from the audience and I left the arena.
°That was too easy°, complained Kura-chan.
°What did you expect? He's a Genin, we are way above his skills. This whole thing is rigged from the start, to begin with°, I replied and she huffed in annoyance.
Lately, she got bored and demanded to fight against me in my mindscape. She said the real world was too boring and she was giddy for action, now that she was able to be out during the second exam.
I happily obliged, I mean each training session ended in steamy and good sex.
I just reached the viewer box for the participants when I heard that Sasuke's fight will be placed at the end. This forced Kankurou to surrender and then Shikamaru to fight earlier.
He trotted down without any drive and was only able to evade Temari's wind attacks for a few minutes until he was hit and nocked out. His shadows were simply not able to reach her, as he didn't have the hole that Naruto made in the original world.
The fight that followed was of my Uzu-Genin against Choji. Choji started his meat tank attack right from the start but didn't think of the possibility that repetitive attacks aren't easy to counter.
The Uzu-Genin used jet streams of water to create fissures in the floor and hindered Choji from gaining speed. His meat tank slowed down after a few attempts and was forced to he jumped up and break his Jutsu. The next attack was his body enlarging technique, where his arm grew to the size of a house.
But my Genin anticipated such a brute force attack and raised earth spikes. Choji couldn't stop his attack in time and skewered his hand on them. He wailed loudly and pulled his now bloody hand away. Which wasn't a good idea, as my Genin now had a good view on his unprotected body.
He shot two more water jets at him and both punctured his knees. The already unbalanced body, thanks to his larger left side, tipped over under the lack of footing and Choji fell on his knees.
“I surrender”, he then said and the arena cheered for the win of my Genin. He definitely will get promoted, I'll make sure of that.
Every fight, except Sasuke's, was now over and the audience got restless. They wanted to see the fight of their Uchiha, but at the same time didn't want to wait for him to deem us important enough to show up.
I looked up to the Kagebox and saw how the disguised Orochimaru spoke to Sarutobi, who at first looked angry but then sighed before speaking to a nearby ANBU. Said ANBU then jumped down to Hayate who then informed the audience that Sasuke will have another ten minutes to show up.
Half of the arena cheered, those were the civilians. The other half, the Ninja, frowned deeply.
The prick did show up, nine minutes later. He even had the audacity to ask smugly if he was late.
What followed was the same fight as in canon and Sasuke got his ass kicked before Gaara lost control.
The large area Genjutsu then washed over the whole arena and enemy Ninja ripped their disguise off.
°The hunt is on°, commented Kura-chan the moment Gaara, Kankurou, and Temari fled. They were followed by Sasuke and I didn't wait long to do the same. My clone knows what to do and the Baki clone dispelled moments before the fight began. Suna won't have a commander in this war, which means that they won't be able to fight as long as last time.
Anyway, I have a Raccoon to hunt.
