Gray faced off against the opponent at the second stage of the Spirit Realm. He had already proven that he had overcome the nearly impossible barrier between the Martial Realm and the Spirit Realm, but he still continued to test his own strength.
From his previous win in only three moves, it was absolutely clear to every single person present that he wasn’t a joke in the slightest, and that he might just be the next greatest genius on the continent.
In only a short couple minutes, he had gone from a joke that could be used for entertainment to someone to be feared and respected, a future leader of the continent.
Of course, he could also sense the fluctuations of the demonic Qi in the air.
He was surely marked as a target to recruit, and if they couldn’t recruit him, they were certain to try to kill him. However, he simply didn’t care.
For now, he only had three goals, and they were to figure out his own strength, kill the traitors he faced, and improve his strength in the process.
Speaking of facing traitors, although it was extremely well hidden, he could tell that this fifty year old man in front of him, who was at the second stage of the Spirit Realm, was a traitor.
The way he detected it was fundamentally different from normal. Instead of being strong enough to perceive through the person and detect their power, he just needed to detect the fluctuations of power coming off of their body.
No matter how well hidden it was or how deeply buried it was in their dantian, their demonic power source would still emit a very faint fluctuation, and he could sense it independently from the normal fluctuations, whereas to a normal person they would be completely drowned out.
This also meant that as long as a person didn’t manage to completely restrain their power within their body to the point where not even the tiniest bit was let out, he would be able to sense them, their element, and if they were a traitor or not.
This worked out incredibly well for him and for his goal, because he could start slowly tearing down both sides while keeping the losses equal.
As he looked at the traitor in front of him, his eyes started glowing with a deep malevolent light as a bloodlust unlike any other assaulted the traitor’s mind.
He felt like he was being plunged into freezing cold blood that was tearing his body apart and seeping into his soul, driving him to the depths of insanity as he began to feel actual physical pain from the level of the bloodlust he was facing.
Instinctively, his body began to react and a technique that he cultivated was activated, causing his veins to bulge all over his body with a bright red color, his eyes turning blood red and glowing while some of his hair fell out.

A wild killing intent was emitted from his body as his aura soared much higher than before.
“Is that the Blood Forming Body? That’s a technique of the Blood Order!” It was unknown who called it out, but the moment it was called out, everyone in the stands exploded into discussions and killing intent poured in from all over the arena.
However, before anybody could make a move, the traitor headed towards Gray wildly swinging his arms, blood red inner breath forming thin sabers over them. The sabers were unstable, but the power contained in them was immense.
Gray responded by dodging the sabers far too quickly for the traitor to react, and he slashed out with his hand in a chopping motion.
His hand then hit the neck of the traitor, causing a layer of frost to spread on his neck on contact. However, he wasn’t too injured despite this.
Instead, he continued to swing his hands towards Gray madly, his insanity clearly an effect of the Blood Forming Body.
But against Gray, who was the most skilled fighter on this continent by far, wildly flailing his arms would do absolutely nothing, and with every single time he swung his arms, he would be hit in a different part of his body.
Seeing that Gray could handle the fight, the judge didn’t stop the fight, and the rules were that any traitors that were revealed could be killed with no consequences.
Instead, he was curious towards Gray’s strength.
He also stopped all the others from attacking the traitor by activating the barrier formation around the arena, preventing anyone from entering or exiting.
Most people saw this and were instantly starting to blame the judge, but after seeing that Gray wasn’t being suppressed in the slightest, they calmed down a bit and decided to watch and see how justice was served to this traitor.
And they didn’t have to wait long before the sound of bones breaking started to ring out in the arena, with the traitor’s fist caving in against Gray’s fist.
Some of his frozen skin and flesh shattered with the hit, causing blood to spray and his broken bones to be exposed.
After that very first break, more and more hits began to cause similar damage, with the traitor’s frozen flesh freezing and shattering and his bones caving in under the pressure.
Within only five minutes, he was a mangled mess, with his right hand completely crippled and he was having to jump around because his left leg was shattered and had fallen off.
Finally, Gray broke his other arm and leg, leaving him a useless yelling lump on the ground.
As he looked down at the body, a malevolent killing intent filled with even stronger bloodlust than before appeared, forcing the traitor out of his maniac state and dragging him back to reality with a massive wave of pain in his body bringing him to attention.
A headache plagued his mind and his whole body felt like it was being torn apart from all the corrosion of ice all over, but he managed to look at Gray’s eyes.
However, when he looked into those violet eyes, all he saw was infinite disdain and bloodlust.
“You’re pathetic.”
With these two words, Gray stomped his foot down, smashing the skull of the traitor into pieces and killing him completely.
Finally, the fight was over, and the judge raised the barrier.
“Next!” Gray’s voice rang through the bustling arena stands.
