This case caused a lot of uproar back 10 years ago, the culprit remained anonymous as the government couldn't capture the killer. The serial killer's victims are almost twenty women that also show they were sexually harassed. The culprit's killing signature is placing a necklace with a square pendant and stars inside it on the victim's dead body. A similar case just appeared here in Mechiv City, where a teenager died with the same necklace wrapped around her neck and also shows she was sexually abused. The media is expecting a lot from the government because they may be able to catch the notorious culprit from ten years ago if the perpetrator of this case is the same."

A man gasped after seeing the news. He was in deep thought after hearing such a shocking revelation.

"Is it the same culprit? If so, why did he choose to change the location? Or is the culprit perhaps a copycat?" Peter Lee pondered.

Peter Lee, a Korean in his late 20s, was a former professional boxer who once wreaked havoc in the boxing world. Known as the "Little Monster of Korea," he had an impressive record of thirty wins with no losses despite his young age. However, tragedy struck before he could challenge the middleweight championship – his beloved sister fell victim to an unexpected crime.

"This may be a gamble where I can win everything or attain nothing, but I have no choice if I want to avenge my sister." Peter firmly stated.

After hearing the news, Peter made preparations and traveled to Crime City, where he believed he might find his sister's killer.

Five days passed, and Peter was now staying in a hotel in Mechiv City, reflecting on what he should do next.

"First of all, if he's the killer from ten years ago, he won't target a woman who's above thirty years old, at least that's what his past cases suggest."

Peter analyzed in his mind.

"The killer also tends to strike during daylight. All the autopsies from the past victims indicate that he didn't kill anyone during the evening. The police force revealed yesterday that the latest case follows the same time frame."

"However, the killer doesn't have a specific pattern for when he performs his crimes. There's not a single pattern that can be discerned – it can be days, weeks, months, or even a year. The worst thing is, the serial killer's profile is still blurry. The only confirmed thing is that the perpetrator is a male."

"Mechiv City isn't necessarily that big, but I can't possibly monitor everything happening to the women here."

As Peter contemplated what he needed to do, a sudden scream echoed through the entire hotel floor where he was staying.

"Help me!"

Peter quickly opened his door to see what was happening. Outside, he witnessed a group of four masked individuals threatening an old woman with a knife.

"A robbery? In broad daylight and even inside the hotel? Are the criminals here in Mechiv so bold?"

Peter asked, confused by the unusual scene in front of him.

One of the criminals noticed Peter and pointed his knife at him,

"Who are you? Do you want to die? Just go and pretend you didn't see anything. This is Mechiv City, and you should know how things work here."

"Unfortunately, I can't do that. I'm not the kind of person to turn away when I see an old woman being threatened by four individuals."

Peter calmly responded.

The four of them just bursted out laughing because of Peter's remark without knowing it's seriousness.

"You will stop all of us with knives on your own? You must have watched a lot of movies young man."

After hearing that statement, Peter didn't waste a single second and quickly charged towards the criminals.

"Crap!"

"No way, why is he so fast?"

Peter exploited the criminals' carelessness and punched the one holding the old woman first.

His straight punch landed squarely on the criminal's face, causing him to release his grip on the old woman.

"Crap, that hurts!"

The criminal cursed, experiencing an enormous pain from Peter's punch.

Seeing their leader down, the other three regained their senses and immediately charged at Peter with their knives drawn.

"Three individuals charging together, each one with a knife, and seemingly not that quick."

Peter analyzed the situation.

The two criminals attacked at the same time, one going for Peter's body and the other targeting his right leg, while the last one positioned himself to intercept Peter's escape route.

Peter, drawing from his boxing prowess, gracefully weaved to dodge the attack aimed at his body, then retaliated with an uppercut on the other criminal.

Whack!

A loud sound echoed throughout the hallway as Peter's devastating punch landed perfectly, incapacitating one of the criminals with a single hit.

A knife swung in the air as Peter dodged another knife coming from his back. Peter saw that his opponent's guard is down so he attempted to punch his liver but was interrupted as the guy who's waiting on Peter's escape joined in.

The criminal kept swinging his knife as Peter also kept dodging it.

"The other guy is seemingly waiting for my guard to be down, I must take care of the one in front of me first."

Peter strategized in his mind.

With his opponent's guard down, Peter unleashed a barrage of punches. An uppercut, right and left hook, straight punch, and a liver blow followed in quick succession, leaving another criminal sprawled on the floor.

Without wasting a moment, Peter charged at the remaining criminal.

"Fuck, he's definitely a scary fighter; I must kill him at all costs!" The criminal thought.

"A hook? A straight punch? An uppercut? A jab?"

These questions raced through the criminal's mind as he tried to predict Peter's movements.

"What an amateur."

Peter said after realizing that the criminal was trying to read his attack.

Whack!

Peter's right hook connected with the criminal's face. Peter had feigned slightly, making the criminal believe he was going for a left straight punch.

However, just as the three criminals were down, the leader attempted to escape, once again holding the old woman hostage.

Peter noticed this but was too late. The criminal was only three meters away from the old woman, while Peter was at least ten meters away.

"Crap, I didn't think that he might have gotten up already!"

Peter panicked, trying to reach the criminal.

The criminal grabbed the old woman once again.

"Hey, let me go, or I will kill this old hag."

The criminal threatened.

Peter had no choice but to stop. He understood that the man could easily harm the old woman.

"This is bad, if I let him go, there's no guarantee that he'll let the old woman live. He may harm her or even have future victims."

Peter thought, feeling frustrated.

"Is there anything I can do? I can catch him with my full speed, but there's no guarantee that I can stop the knife from piercing her throat." Peter contemplated.

As the criminal was about to escape through the emergency exit, Peter clenched his fists, making a decision.

"I'll do it."

Peter firmly said to himself.

"If I can't even save this old woman in front of me, how can I dare to seek revenge for my sister?"

After organizing his thoughts, Peter confidently prepared himself for an all-out charge to catch the criminal.

Just as the criminal was one step away from the door, a loud sound resounded.

Peter closed the distance with lightning speed and managed to repel the knife.

Just as the knife dropped, Peter swiftly moved to get the old woman out of harm's way, ensuring there was no immediate danger.

Seeing an opportunity to escape, the criminal made a desperate jump down the stairs, attempting to flee. However, to his surprise, a police officer was waiting at the bottom of the stairs, pointing a gun at him.

"Put your hands up!"

The police officer shouted.

Realizing there was no way out, the criminal obeyed, knowing that his escape plan had failed.

"We received a crime report and arrived just in time. You're under arrest for attempted murder and robbery. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney."

Sighing with relief, Peter notified the police officer about the other criminals involved in the incident.

"Thank you for your help. If not for you, the old woman might have been robbed or even killed."

The police officer said, expressing his gratitude.

"It's nothing, I just did what I should do."

Peter responded, a bright look on his face.

"I can't believe someone like you is here in Mechiv. What's your name?"

The officer asked.

"I am Peter Lee. How about you?"

Peter introduced himself.

"Pleasure to meet you, Peter. I'm Officer Zed."

Both of them shook hands, a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie filling the air.

However, unbeknownst to them, someone else was observing them from within the hotel.

"How interesting." The figure said.

"Officer Zed and another righteous person? It seems like he's a decent fighter too."

"Peter Lee, huh? What an interesting variable."

Jade muttered to himself while hiding his presence.
