Jade slowly regained consciousness, his surroundings enveloped in darkness. Confusion clouded his mind as he tried to recall the events that led him here.
"Where am I? What happened?" Jade wondered aloud, his voice echoing in the void.
As the fog in his mind cleared, he pieced together the fragments of his memory. The intense fight with his uncle Ray, the near-victory that slipped from his grasp, and then... darkness.
"I lost, didn't I?" Jade muttered, a tinge of disappointment coloring his voice. "I'm still not strong enough to challenge the world. I'm weak!"
Sitting down in the midst of the pitch-black dimension, Jade let out a sigh of frustration.
"Those attacks... They were so powerful. Even though they didn't land squarely, they damaged my organs. I need to become stronger. This strength is insufficient to face the cruelty of the world," Jade acknowledged with determination.
Lost in his thoughts, Jade pondered the passage of time in this mysterious realm. Realizing that he had little control over the situation, he decided to focus on visualizing the critical moments of his fight with his uncle.
"I need to envision that moment... The moment when I was so close to catching uncle. What move would have been the best? I must think, analyze, and strategize," Jade mused, replaying the fight in his mind.
Suddenly, a spark of realization ignited within Jade.
"I've got it!" Jade exclaimed, a glimmer of excitement in his eyes.
As Jade's mind buzzed with newfound clarity, Ray remained beside him, observing his disciple's unconscious form.
"What just happened?" Ray questioned himself, awe and confusion intertwined. "He spun around four times in mid-air, even when he was inches away from falling? Is that even possible?"
Ray marveled at the seemingly impossible feat he had witnessed, his mind struggling to comprehend Jade's hidden potential.
"That attack he unleashed... spinning four times to gather force in one kick? That's surely fatal. Even though it didn't land directly, its force alone could have gravely injured or even killed me," Ray marveled, catching his breath after the grueling battle.

Several minutes passed, and Jade stirred, slowly awakening to find himself in the familiar surroundings of their training room's ceiling.
"Yo," Ray greeted him, a mix of relief and pride evident in his voice.
Jade surveyed his surroundings, piecing together what had transpired.
"I lost, huh? So much for overturning the world," Jade murmured, disappointment etched on his face.
"No, you will undoubtedly overturn the world," Ray reassured him, his voice brimming with confidence.
"Stop flattering me, uncle," Jade replied, a touch of skepticism in his tone.
"Look at your feet," Ray suggested calmly.
Curiosity piqued, Jade glanced downward and noticed a sizable indentation in the ring's ground.
"What the hell?" Jade exclaimed, surprised by the impact he had caused.
"That's your doing, brat," Ray stated with a smile on his face.
"That kick alone made me realize that you can indeed take on the world," Ray continued, his pride in Jade evident.
Jade couldn't comprehend the details of the kick he had executed when he believed he was unconscious. However, he realized that he had unconsciously unleashed a formidable attack.
"I performed that kick? I just played that moment in my head repeatedly and then executed it unconsciously? That's incredible," Jade marveled to himself.
"It seems you're still not fully recovered. Let's get you some medical treatment. And I'll tag along since you broke a few of my bones," Ray chuckled, breaking the serious atmosphere.
"Okay," Jade agreed, a mixture of gratitude and amusement in his voice.
As Ray prepared to help Jade to his feet, he noticed something peculiar. With a curious expression, he lifted Jade's pants and discovered a set of ten-kilogram weights strapped to his feet.
"HAHAHAHAHA! You sly brat! You wore these weights to test your limits while fighting me? You shattered my pride!" Ray exclaimed, a smile spreading across his face.
Caught off guard, Jade burst into laughter, unable to come up with an excuse for his actions.
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
"I'm sorry, uncle. I wanted to see how far I could push myself while wearing those weights," Jade admitted, his laughter subsiding.
"That final kick... It would've struck me if you hadn't been wearing those weights. They clearly impaired your physical performance, yet you cornered me regardless. You truly are a monster, and calling you a genius is an understatement. The world should be prepared for your rise," Ray praised Jade inwardly.
"You're strong, Jade. That's the only thing I can say," Ray acknowledged sincerely.
"Don't flatter me, uncle. I know that even without the weights, you could have defeated me with a weapon," Jade replied humbly.
It was true—Jade understood that, at his current level, he stood no chance against Ray's exceptional weapon mastery that he attained within the task force.
"Enough with the compliments. Let's head to the hospital now," Ray suggested, returning to a serious tone.
Jade smiled warmly, then bowed deeply to his uncle.
"Thank you for everything, uncle,"
"Likewise brat"
3 days later...
"Are you ready now?"
"Yep, I've always been ready."
Ray smirks as he heard the confident words of his niece.
"Uncle, I will surely avenge your sister so do not blame yourself anymore. Just like what my mother said, you're a great person." Jade said.
Hearing those words made Ray tear up, he smiled then said "Don't come here without doing it then!"
"Sure" Jade happily responded.
