"Daaamn, that kick would break one or two bones," Ray thought as he endured the excruciating pain inflicted by Jade's powerful kick.

Seizing the opportunity, Jade unleashed a relentless barrage of punches towards Ray, who struggled to defend himself. Each blow was solid, capable of breaking limbs if delivered to an average fighter.

"If I continue this onslaught, he won't have a chance to counter-attack." Jade strategized in his mind.

Ray, blocking and evading Jade's punches, felt the pressure mounting. Jade's relentless assault left him little room to breathe.

"He's truly terrifying. These punches are unbelievably powerful. An average person would have already succumbed to this level of attack." Ray acknowledged, marveling at Jade's strength.

Despite the pain and pressure, Ray continued to block Jade's punches. In the midst of the intense exchange, Jade aimed a knee strike towards Ray's liver, hoping to incapacitate him.

Sensing the opening, Ray countered, "Brat, don't exploit opportunities like that when you have the advantage!"

He deflected the knee strike and swiftly rolled on the ground, attempting to escape Jade's grip. But much to his surprise, Jade had anticipated the move and swiftly grabbed hold of Ray's leg.

"Heh, this little devil has baited me into this position." Ray thought wryly.

"Now that I've got a hold of his leg, I can limit his movements." Jade calculated, his determination unwavering.

However, Ray's years of experience as a skilled fighter came into play. Pressing his free hand against the ground, he gathered his strength and pushed off, shaking Jade off his leg with a burst of power.

Ray's strength was inhuman, enabling him to lift his leg and free himself from Jade's grasp.

"You've left yourself vulnerable. Now's my chance," Ray realized, bursting forward to close the distance between them. He landed a clean punch to Jade's face with lightning speed.

"Crap!" Jade exclaimed, feeling the force of his trainer's fist.

With his focus momentarily disrupted, Jade dropped his guard, giving Ray the opening he needed. Ray delivered a swift one-two combo to Jade's face.

"Amazing! He managed to minimize the damage by shoving his face so my punch doesn't gather enough force despite his compromised state." Ray praised Jade inwardly.

After dodging the uppercut, Jade immediately took a step back to widen the distance but Ray is too fast, he simply closed the distance but once again, Jade prepared a countermeasure as he purposely let himself lay on the ground. Jade released a kick towards his uncle chin's but Ray blocked it on time with his two forearms.

Crack!

The sound of bones breaking was clearly heard in the entire room.

Before Ray knew it, a fist already connected on his liver that shaked his entire core. Ray stumbled as he took a fatal blow that he didn't anticipate.

"I need to recover because if I don't, he will devour me." Ray innerly muttered.

"Uncle, I will make sure to show the efforts of your training with this fight." Jade said in his mind.

Once again, Jade raised his right leg above his uncle's body, attempting to smash it down.

"I can't afford to block that, I may get seriously injured if I take another shot of that caliber."

Ray hurriedly rolled on the grown again, barely dodging the impact of Jade's attack but Jade didn't hesitate to release another barrage of attacks.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Jade's punches caused a loud sound because of its sheer strength.

"Crap, I'm barely holding on!" Ray curses.

The barrage of attacks momentarily stopped.

"Get serious" Jade suddenly spoke with a chilling tone.

Hearing those words, Ray had goosebumps all over his body. With all his strength, he pushed his way out of the ground so he can escape Jade's attacks.

Both of them are now standing, silently staring at each other. "What a failure, I said I will not hold back but Jade saw through me.

"I'm sorry, it won't happen again" Ray's sincere apologize broke the staring contest."

"Now that you know, you must come at with all you've got. This is supposed to be your last lesson with me after all." Jade responded.

Ray smirked at the kid's statement since he's really a sharp-tongued individual.

Ray took his usual striking stance but its presence is different compared to their past trainings. "That is definitely the real deal." Jade mutters. He knew that this time, his uncle will actually come at him with his full power. It didn't matter even if he's injured, Jade knew that Ray didn't simply attain his position on the Crime Utility Squad with mediocre fighting skills.

Swish!

Another loud sound echoed in the room as both men rushes to each other.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

They exchanged a lot of blows without batting an eye. As time progress, Ray realized he's losing the battle since some of his bones are crushed.

Ray's light footwork stopped the devastating exchange of blows as he widen the distance.

"I better be careful, that footwork of his is unmatched." Jade innerly muttered as he catches the danger.

Taking a boxing stance, Ray once again closed the distance between them but he plans to make his way out by implementing a great footwork. Jade tried to disrupt his movement by attempting to grapple him just like how Ray opened their fight but this time, Ray anticipated Jade's movement.

"Now's the time!"

With all his might, Ray evaded Jade's swift tackle, delivering a powerful one-two combo to Jade's head. Jade managed to block the strikes but felt the sheer strength of his uncle's punches.

"I messed up," Jade admitted, realizing his plan had backfired.

This time, Ray is the one who released barrage of attacks towards Jade with the help of his excellent footwork.

Whenever Jade tries to counterattack, he just distances himself with his footwork then throw blows again. Because of this blows, Jade's back are now on the corner of the cage, limiting his movements.

"Be prepared, kid!" Ray shouted as he switched his stance into close quarters combat, a deadly fighting style that he learned on the task force.

He threw all kind of attacks that's meant to kill towards Jade. Bloods on Jade's body can be found as he received those attacks.

"So this is your capability huh? I may even end up dying if I take even one of these clearly. You're truly incredible like my mother said." Jade innerly smiled as he saw a glimpse of how strong his uncle is.

"Should I stop now?" Ray suddenly questioned himself, gazing at the wounds he had inflicted upon Jade. However, the thought was fleeting.

Jade shifted his strength on both of his legs to tackle Ray once again.

Ray saw this so he immediately thought that he should use his footwork immediately but he didn't do it. Instead, he decided to knock Jade out with his close quarters combat before Jade reaches him. Although using his footwork would be a great option since it already provided a good result, Ray didn't know why, but he felt that if he doesn't face Jade's perseverance with his strongest attacks, he would lose.

The battle continued, blood pooling on the floor from Jade's deep wounds. Jade endured numerous devastating blows, coming within inches of catching his uncle.

Suddenly, the world around Jade seemed to fade away.
