Good Guy

Good Guy

"The weather looks good today. I should walk around a little bit."

After a 30 minutes of preparation, Peter Lee went outside to walk around.

"The city doesn't seem bad, it's the people living in it that makes this the worst city."

Peter suddenly thought when he saw structures well built all around the city.

After arriving in the market, he decided to shop around for what he will be eating.

"Nice, I've bought ingredients that's enough for my food for a whole week."

While Peter is having a pleasant time, Mechiv City being the criminal's home came into light once again.

"Help!!!!!!!!!"

A loud scream engulfed around the market.

Peter took a look around then saw a kid running for his life. The kid is getting chased by a three men.

Peter became suspicious of the three so he decided to step thinking that they're harassing the kid.

"Stop! What are you doing to a child? Aren't you embarrassed as an adults?"

Peter said with an angry tone.

"What the hell is up with this punk?"

"Hey, are you his accomplice or something?"

"What are you talking about? Accomplice?" Peter asked.

"Yes you punk, that child stole our wallet."

Peter couldn't say a thing, he jumped into conclusion that they're harassing the kid.

"Hey, let's keep going, the kid is far away now."

"Brat, you're lucky this time because I would've punch you if only we don't need to chase that kid."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know what happened."

Peter apologized as he acknowledge that he's at fault.

"However, let me be the one to catch him then I will return your wallet. I'm making up to you this way but I also think you shouldn't gang him up when he's still a child." Peter calmly said.

"Are you saying he should not be punished for stealing just because he's a child?" The man asked.

"Hey, stop pissing us off and just help us chase that child."

"I plan to do that but you need to promise that you won't do anything to that kid." Peter said.

"Fine, Let's go now!"

They all ran to chase the child.

After a while, Peter already caught up to the kid because of his speed. He's not boxer for a reason.

"Hey, give back the wallet. Stealing from others is not a good thing to do."

Peter said to the kid as he stops him from running.

"Please help me, I really need this in order to cure my father."

The child said with a teary eyes.

Peter softened from the child's expression.

"So he stole in order to help his father? I pity him but it doesn't change the fact that he did isn't good." Peter inwardly said.

"You're done kid!"

The men shouted after they finally caught up to them.

"Please help me! I need to buy a medicine for my father!" The child shouted to Peter.

"Hey, begging won't do you any good. We need to at least break your hand so you won't get to steal in the future."

The child trembled in fear.

Peter couldn't help but feel empathy. He knows better than anyone the pain you will get if you lose someone important to you.

When the three men were about to approach the kid, Peter suddenly stood in front of them.

"I'm sure I told you that I will catch this kid in order to return your wallet so what is this?" Peter asked with a serious tone.

"Who cares about that? Bad kids should be punished."

"Isn't returning your wallet enough? You're going to beat up a kid who has a fragile father?

"So he want to cure his father? No wonder he grew up badly, his family ain't there to teach his child properly."

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

"They look like each other, maybe because they're both a foolish brat?"

The three men were laughing while mocking Peter and the child.

"These guys are starting to piss me off."

Peter thought to himself.

"Hey kid, how about you return your wallet to them then I'll be the one to pay for your father's medicine?

Peter asked the kid.

"Really?" The kid responded.

"Yeah, in order to not have a conflict."

Peter blurted out his solution.

"Does this guy can't understand anything?"

"You're right, maybe he doesn't understand our language because he's Korean?"

"That's probably right."

The men were talking to themselves.

Upon hearing this, Peter confronted them.

"You really should stop now, I already offered the best solution into this problem."

Peter warned them with a glare.

"Ho? Look at this punk glaring at us."

"Looks like he's a accomplice after all. He acted like he chased the kid in order to break away from us because we caught them."

"That's probably right, he's starting to piss me off too."

Peter already knew that this won't change peacefully as he look at their expressions.

"Kid, step back a little bit." Peter said.

"Is he superman or what? Does he think he can beat all of us?"

"That guy probably watched a fighting movie before going out."

The men were continuously laughing.

However, they didn't know that the man in front of them is actually not your average fighter.

As a boxer, Peter knows that a fight in the street is definitely different from a fight within a ring. Acknowledging this, Peter moved first in order to have advantage.

The three men were surprised with Peter's sudden burst.

"What the?"

"He's fast!"

Before they knew it, Peter's punch already connected his punch to one of the guys.

"That hurts!"

"Hey, catch that brat!"

"I'm on it!"

Surprisingly, the men were having a great teamwork.

"They seem pretty coordinated." Peter thoughtvto himself.

However, Peter's skill as a boxer is highlighted as he dodge all the attacks coming from them.

"What with this guy? We can't even land a hit."

"Is he kind of some robot?"

The group were panicking because they realized they're not fighting an average figure.

"It should be time I finish this."

Peter innerly said.

Peter increased the speed of his punches as he decided to finish the fight.

"I can't see what I'm being hit with!"

"Me too!"

"Damn, stop throwing barrage of punches!"

The group are in chaos after experiencing Peter's several punches.

"They're quite sturdy, did they train something?"

Peter asked himself as he wonders how they can still hold up even after receiving punches from him.

"I think we need to use it now."

A guy from the group said.

"Are you serious?"

"Hey, we might get jailed again if we're caught killing someone again.

"I don't care, as long as I kill this bastard today, I will gladly serve a few years in prison."

After hearing this, Peter knew that they're going to do something different.

"Looks like they're also a criminal after all. Damn, this city really live up to it's nickname."

Peter said to himself while getting ready for the incoming attack from the group.

The three guy suddenly attempted to tackle Peter together.

"A tackle? Are they wrestlers?"

"You fool, it's over for you!"

The men boasted as they're already inches away from tackling Peter.

This group of men are actually trained wrestlers. They possess an extraordinary strength that can crush human bone when they get a hold of their body. They got jailed for killing some people in a street fight using their wrestling.

"One to my right and two to my right."

Peter analyzed the situation.

Their hands were a second away to grab Peter when a sudden flash came to their space.

Whack!

All of them were suddenly lying on the ground in a blink of eye.

The silence was something. The mocking voices of the group were nowhere to be heard.

The kid who's hiding can't help but be astonished. He witnessed a stranger took down three men altogether in a second.

"Come here kid, it's already over."

Peter said to the kid.

The kid approached him then suddenly cried.

"Thank you! I really needed help because I can't afford to get beat up while my father if fragile."

The kid's tear bursted out.

Peter just smiled the whole time. He was happy that the kid in front of him is already matured.

"We should leave now, lay down their wallet besides them. I will give you money to buy for your father's medicine."

"All right, I'm really grateful!"

The kid was delighted.

"Promise me you won't ever steal again, okay?" Peter asked.

"You can count on me!"

Peter once again, expressed a smile seeing the child's enthusiasm.
