April 23
6:25pm
Minyook turned his head and saw Jinxi walking further into the brand new unfurnished house. The smell of the new hardwood floor was prominent in the entirety of the little cottage style house. The rays of the sun orchestrated a beautiful symphony of colors in the sky, bright shades of pink, purple, and orange effortlessly melding into one.
Minyook sipped on the pink lemonade, closing his eyes as he leaned back the railing. He sensed someone else taking up the spot beside him and smiled. Through the closed eyelids, he sensed Kevin take a picture of him. He had developed a fondness towards photography, clasping, and saving memories at any chance he got.
The two sat there till the vivid colors in the sky morphed into a murky black, but the colors within themselves remained as vibrant as always. Complementing each other with a beautifully handcrafted sense of belonging.

Minyook was a wild teal. He had created a wonderland of his own, a world full of freedom and passion just for Kevin to explore. He gave Kevin an Eden, fierce with unrestrained liberty.
Kevin sometimes rolled on the grass and sometimes jumped from one cloud to another. Sometimes there would be a wild predator lurking around, but Kevin was willing to tame it.
Minyook was untamed but lost, filled with a desire to belong.
While Kevin, was a clear ocean blue. He sometimes was the bright morning sky, in which Minyook soared accompanied with playful laughter. Sometimes he was a calm ocean that Minyook drowned in, with silence, so deep and so vast.
He felt like he belonged under the waters. Swimming along with the wonders of unknown existences that lay under strong waves of love.
Their love grew like a powerful and persisting tree, protected by Kevin's calm affection and Minyook's wild encouragement. When the storm raged, they found refuge under the tree. They were happy and no fire was strong enough to annihilate their little planet.
Minyook sighed and leaned on Kevin's shoulder, brimming with contentment, and excitement for what lay ahead.
