January 21
3:30 am
Kevin was fussing over Minyook's wet hair and clothes. The tent was already way too cold and didn't provide much protection from the rain outside. He could only do so much to keep Minyook from shivering.
The seven of them had decided to huddle together in the cramped little space. Although there wasn't any moisture, the ground still felt queasy beneath the tent's lining. He saw Jinxi ruffling Haemin's hair before throwing his jacket onto his head.
Kevin chuckled, thinking about the way Jinxi had proposed earlier that day. The group was confounded by his directness, but he knew Jinxi. It was definitely his style -headstrong, and straight to the point.
Although he lost his 10 won because of his bet with Minyook -which Minyook had demanded from Kevin right then and there- he was happy for them.
If only Kevin had that kind of confidence.
He came back to earth when Minyook took the T-shirt, that Kevin had turned into a towel, from his hands. He watched with a frown as Minyook kicked Junseon's sleeping form away to make room. He shimmied further and lay down, pulling Kevin's lap under his head.

He only remembered how to breathe when Minyook had made himself comfortable on his lap. He looked at Minyook's closed eyes and hesitantly started playing with his hair.
"Sing me to sleep," Minyook said, sounding content as he requested. Kevin soon lost himself to a melody. He gave his all when Minyook asked him for something, so his closed eyes and soft voice sang only for him.
3:40 am
Minyook's eyes never left Kevin's closed ones. Minyook had zoned out everything but Kevin. He keenly imprinted the melodious voice and the soft lips into his memory. Kevin's face seemed to shine under the soft light from Haemin's mobile phone. He felt exceedingly warm, and fuzzy sensing Kevin's fingers twirling strands of his hair. The lap that seemed to be made just for him, swayed occasionally with the sweet and slow rhythm.
For the first time in a long while, Minyook was exceedingly calm. The frustration and sadness he felt since High-school seemed to be forgotten. It didn't matter anymore, because he was with Kevin.
Kevin's voice became softer as Minyook sighed. He unconsciously tightened his arms around Minyook's shoulder. Even though Kevin thought Minyook had slept off, he didn't stop singing.
Under the cold tent with pouring rain, enclosed within the cramped space, Minyook thought Kevin was the most beautiful person he had ever known.
He was happy to have met, and in the process, finally found his peace.
