"What?! No!!," Minyook clutched his chest with disbelief. "Of course, Jinxi and I aren't ****together!" Minyook didn't know when or what caused this misunderstanding, but here he was denying the relationship to the Jye Hee.

"I heard it from Myung, who heard Haemin himself," Jye Hee said in a convicting tone.

"Haemin what now?" Taehyung couldn't believe his ears when he heard Jye Hee.

It was impossible for Haemin to spread this "rumour". For sweet's sake, Minyook cleared the air with Haemin hyung yesterday and moreover, Haemin hyung would NEVER!! do that.

"Well, Myung heard Haemin shout at you at the bus stop yesterday." Jye Hee placed her hands on her hip.

Ahh.. here it is.

"Jye Hee, don't believe in or spread any false rumours," Minyook said while taking his phone out and walking away.

He ignored further accusations from Jye Hee, all the yapping about you did on purpose, you knew I was interested in him going way over his head as started typing into his phone. Stole him from her- as if! Was Jinxi a product to be stolen? Or a child to be enticed with candy? He was a grown man who had his own preferences and enough knowledge to choose and act for himself. Before all this mess reaches Haemin, he needs to do something about it.

He needs to talk with Myung.

Spreading rumours that they were together is one thing, he doesn't even know Jinxi's preference. He sincerely doesn't want to 'out' anyone when they are not comfortable with it. Let alone his friend. Minyook started climbing down the stairs when he heard a message ping.

Kev: No, why?

Meet me in my dept courtyard.

Now.

Kev: On my way

9:40 am

Saying Minyook was furious was a gross understatement. He was practically seething with anger. He could barely sit still on the bench of his dept courtyard while waiting for Kevin. The more he thought about it the more frustrating it was.

"I asked you if I should bring my baseball bat," Kevin said as he skids to a halt next to the bench Minyook was sitting on making him jolt in surprise at the sudden entry.

"Myung is spreading rumours that Jinxi and I are together." Minyook stood up clenching his fisting. He doesn't like it. What if Jinxi doesn't like it or worse, what if he feels uncomfortable with it? or worse, what if he becomes awkward with him? or worse, what if he avoids him? or worse, what if he avoids the friend group because of him?

He could hardly control himself now. He doesn't want to be the reason for Yoongi to avoid them. He doesn't want to be the cause to make Yoongi not speak with them anymore.

Kevin noticed the spiral Minhyook was on and sighed.

"It's a rumour and not a fact. What are you worried about?" Kevin questioned, motioning Minyook to sit down with him.

Mnyook sat back on the bench rather unwillingly, firing one question after another at an astonishingly sonic speed, "What if he's not out yet? What if he isn't even inclined that way? What if this makes things awkward between me and Jinxi Hyung? What if Jinxi thinks I'm spreading the rumours. What if everyone thinks we're together?"

He got frustrated and pulled at his hair, curling it into a ball on the bench.

"As far as I know, Jinxi Hyung is out of the closet. We know Jinxi Hyung enough to know that he won't let this come between us. If you're right then there is no need to worry, "Jungkook answered his questions one by one while rubbing his back with concern. "Yook, I'm sure we can make this right. So don't stress yourself out"

"Can we really make this alright?" Minyook looked up at Kevin's certain face, fidgeting with his fingers.

He really didn't want to mess things up with Jinxi again now that they were really good friends.

Kevin nodded with a smile, "We sure can."

Kevin patted Minyook's head and stood up, "Now let's go get that Myung guy to confess."

Yes, that Myung better hide. If not from Kevin and him, he better hide from Jinxi. Minyook thought shivering at the idea of an angry and frustrated Jinxi.
