Haemin was sitting in his car outside Jinxi's house. He had tried so hard to convince Jinxi to talk to his dad. He thought maybe now that he got his dream job and he had proven his worth, his dad would apologize to him. He was wrong. He saw Jinxi's father shut the door before he could even explain.

He could only imagine what Jinxi was going through, but that wouldn't stop him from trying to reconcile the father and son duo. It would be hard to rediscover it, but there was love between them. So there will always be, at least a fragment, of love between them.

He saw Jinxi drop the photo-copy of the letter on the doorway and return. Haemin turned down the volume of the radio and took out the dusty plushies that Minyook had gifted to put it on display.

Jinxi slumped into the passenger seat as soon as he closed the door and sighed, "I told you it was not going to work."

He saw the pink plushies on the dashboard and let out a chuckle, "So childish."

"Yet, it works every time," Hosoek ruffled Jinxi's hair when he saw him grabbing the flamingo plushy, "Are you okay?"

Minyook had gifted the pink panther and flamingo plush set to him on his birthday.

"You know what they say; Life goes on," Jinxi said while cuddling the plushy.

When Haemin had later revealed that the old flamingo plushy in his room was the first-ever gift that he was given in his life, that was not a hand-me-down, this combo - and Minyook, became even more special to him.

"That's the sad part isn't it?" Haemin said as he started the car, "Life goes on, and precious moments lay forgotten."

"Minnie, you know full well what happened," Jinxi argued back while Haemin swerved away from the parking lot, "People walk away all the time."

"But the way they leave always sticks with you," Haemin swerved into the main road, "You don't deserve that, Jinxi. I still believe it can be fixed."

"I don't want it to be fixed," Jinxi said, turning away from Haemin as he intently looked out the window.

Haemin sighed when he realized that it was getting tougher and tougher. He didn't want Jinxi to regret anything in the future. So that if it didn't work out, he could at least say that he tried.

Haemin backed out of the conversation when he saw Jinxi sulking in the corner with his pink plushy, "You were very brave today, babe."

He saw a slight upward curve on Jinxi's lip and laughed. He knew he could get through to Jinxi.

Haemin looked through the rear-view mirror to see a silhouette coming out of Jinxi's house and picking up the letter from the doorstep. The figure stood there until the car made the turn.

Well, it seemed like it wasn't going to be too tough after all.

When Jinxi walked out of the house, he said his future was waiting for him. His future seems to be Haemin.

Jinxi and his dad did compromise later, thanks to Haemin's constant pestering.

That is until Jinxi was at their door, yet again but this time with Haemin and a baby girl, who looked suspiciously like both of them...
