The ambiance of the cafe was lively. Sungmin had closed the shop early today for the party, it had been raining, and there were practically no customers anyway.

Minyook and Haemin were sprawled across the main sofa eating away the cake that Sungmin Hyung had made earlier. Junseong was tucked in a blanket with a steaming cup of hot chocolate in his hand. He was late to the party, but when he did show up, he was drenched in rain. Kevin strolled lazily around the cafe, taking photos of whatever caught his attention.

Jinxi and Namseok were in the service station fighting over who should use the coffee machine first. Both of them looked exhausted. Jinxi had successfully submitted his final project and was feeling quite satisfied. Namseok was just being his usual self, a medical student who was never not exhausted.

"Hyung, if you become famous," Minyook said while stuffing his mouth with the biggest piece of strawberry cake, "Will you get us free red-carpet invites?"

"Let's not start dreaming about things that might not happen," Sungmin replied, re-filling the tub of drinks.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

"If being scouted by a big three agency, while in your own cafe with strawberry syrup all over your apron could happen, then literally anything can happen." This time, Junseong spoke up, looking all fluffy and warm now.

"I don't know guys. I don't want to expect things only to get disappointed if it didn't happen."

"If you think like that, then you'll always be second-guessing yourself, Hyung." Namseok strode in carrying some croissants. Yoongi had succeeded in hogging the coffee machine for himself.

"And if you keep second-guessing yourself then you can't give something your all. If you don't give something your all then you'll only regret it later, until the cycle goes around all over again." Namseok looked up after poring chocolate sauce over the croissants only to see the whole gang staring at him with awe. He flashed a dimpled smile, strangely looking like a giant koala bear with dark circles.

"You can have this coffee for being philosophical," Yoongi whispered in Namseok's ear. He had quietly stalked up on Namseok, and this sudden proximity made Namseok startle. The plate he carried dropped to the carpeted floor with a thud, splattering chocolate sauce everywhere.

He knew what was going to come.

"Oh no! He actually dropped the croissant. It's not in the script!"

"QUICK, CHANGE THE SCRIPT!"

"STTAAAWWPP, HE COULDA DROPPED THE CROISSANT."

"But He did drop the croissant."

"Yah! My Carpet!"

"Oh my god, he dropped the croissant."

"Yoongi Hyung, stop laughing!"
