The bone titan felt as though its life was in danger, but it couldn’t see a threat. Its cloaked form seemed to shift briefly before it eyed some targets.
“You humans are but wheat to my scythe! Muhahahaha!” Said the skeleton in a high-pitched voice.
“I did not say that. But it is true.” Said the skeleton in a much deeper voice. The skeleton prepared to attack when suddenly its spinal column vanished and it collapsed to the ground its cloak floating away.
With a brief opening of mana, the large cloak Vanished ad Kyrion was revealed. The creature rearranged its many bones, sacrificing some rib bones to create a new spine.
Kyrion landed atop the creature's hand and pulled the scythe that was the size of a few train cars free before dumping it into his domain.
“You're robbing me!”
“You robbed this world first. I’m just collecting a debt you incurred with your actions.”
“You dare, go against my lord?”
“I don’t know who that is, but so you know. They aren't the ones here right now. You see, you came here and took the lives of the natives with little regard.” Kyrion slid his hand into a gem hidden within the creature's torso and destroyed it. Releasing the souls trapped inside and gravely weakening.
“How are you so strong?”
“The thing about size is that it doesn’t always mean durability. You are weak for your tier of power which means to me, destroying you is easy.”
“Please have mercy!”
“Do you?” Kyion felt his rage build up as the earth under the titan opened up to swallow it whole before closing with a loud crunch, much to Kyrion’s surprise.
“The planet itself has chosen your demise. It seems it does have a modicum of mercy.” Kyrion took to the air and sighed before he got to work healing those with life-threatening injuries.
A pang burned in his chest as his vision tried to fade. Appearances aside many saw it as a one-sided brawl but the creature had an aura that tried to force the cells in his body to start decomposing. if he played around, chances were he’d have died.
Kyrion’s right hand fell off and floated before him much to his irritation.
“I am death incarnate! You can’t end me that easily!”
“I’m going to regret this.” Kyrion created a cube of spatial mana which he used to send his hand into his domain.
“It’s not regenerating. Well that's new. Karl, can you dispose of the creature in my domain?”
“No, it is currently an entity of a higher order. It won’t be…And it’s trying to escape.”
“Can it?”
“No. Though if, you don’t want to eat it, I will.” Kyrion’s white scarf answered.
“What will happen to it if that happens?”
“My stomach is the abyssal plane. It’s soul will be destroyed removing it from the cycle.”
“Ah, go ahead. I don’t want to fight this guy later on.”
“Fine, fine, but you’ll need to hit up a Gram’s Society and pick up all the bulk wet cat food you see, as well as 12 bags of Nyaa Mix.”
“Wait, Kilo’s dad owns a society?”
“Different man. I think. All you two leggers look the same to me.”
Kyrion finished healing the groups of survivors and made his way to the charmer. Hopefully, his hand would be fixed by the time he arrived.

Jac dodged a blast of gunfire from a man wearing full body armor with a helmet that hid his face and neck. He held a shotgun in each hand and as they fired a tube connected to their torso loaded another two shells in the chambers.
Jac sighed as he activated his ability. He didn’t want to use it consistently due to the side effects of overuse.
Time slowed to a crawl as Jac moved at a regular speed. His movements were swift as he severed the tubes mid-reload, using two of his Photon daggers. From there he disabled the Slayer’s side arm and melee baton before passing by and shutting it off. His bones hurt and his senses were overloaded. He’d depended on his abilities too much just to make it this close to the giant woman.
Seeing that Jac was weakened and exhausted from overusing his powers. The giant watching him fight decided to send her tendrils to infect him, inciting his perception of the battle and succeeding. Suddenly, everyone around him was a monster trying to kill him, ogres, wolves, fire-breathing serpents, and more, were circling him. The goddess of war disappeared from his sight.

Ander had sent dozens of bolts into the pink creature, only managing to damage it slightly as he nearly exhausted his resources. Sweat covered his form and his vision was fading. Dodging it was easy but there was something strange about its defenses.
The pulsating pink blob condensed as it shifted form, its color shifting to green as the faces of those it consumed came to the surface and chanted something in a language Ander knew, but hadn’t expected to hear.
“From the Gate of Gilgnopox we have come. Offer your souls to us so we can cleanse this world with death and despair. Join, us brother, this is your destiny.”
Ander realized that it wasn’t talking to him but to the creature in his core. “What’s going on?”
“How much do you know of why your brothers fled to the Universe of 9?”
“None.”
“Then I won’t say too much. That right there is an entity from another version of this world that's currently two thousand years ahead. Only the humans there weren't ready for the apocalypse that you have been made aware of. Those that survived became monsters or hybrid beings, myth became reality, and in the end, the planet was taken over by a being outside, space and time. Before the end, some of humanity managed to sail from the previous universe to this one and split the information they had gained among themselves as they separated and hid among the native humans.”
“Bah, so what does that have to do with us?”
“Well, there were originally four versions of each planet. Two branched off thirty thousand years ago, while the last two branched a little over two thousand years ago. Of the first two, none remain and those branches of the multiverse have gone rotten. The lowest branch of earth is known as Hell, when it was corrupted, many animals and people changed. I was once a creature bred to destroy humanity before a Spriggan from the previous branch managed to save me from self destruction, and sealed me away within his bloodline. The second branch’s earth is known as the abyss and it’s next to where the Universe of Nine lies. The creature right there is a higher tier grunt from the Abyss, known as a Drosoupox. Their power involves breaking minds and consuming the remains. An embodiment of gluttony, it calls me brother as my kind are an embodiment of Pride.”
“I see. So you have the power to kill it?”
“Yes, as do you. Let me consume the Draconic Essence and I’ll show you how to hunt your enemy.” Byakko stated.
“Fine then. Take it all.”
Ander felt a change in his body, as though he had finally earned the trust of the creature inside of him. His mana pool increased by a factor of three, along with his speed, and strength, though he hadn’t physically changed in terms of mass. Black lines covered his body like a tiger's stripes.
“Shadow is born from light, and light cannot exist without darkness. This balance is the reality of sight. In a lightless world, there is nothing, no shadow, no light, no darkness. There is just nothing. Thus the fusion of light and dark cannot exist. The spell I cast is Fission Bolt!” Ander forced two-thirds of his mana outside of his body along with a bit of Divine Essence. The technique wasn’t new, but the chant and applications were a first.
Nothing happened, as the sound of thunder didn’t follow nor did the crackle of sparks. The pink entity didn’t even seem bothered as it moved forward. Then suddenly as though a revelation the creature realized it was dead as all of its faces took on a horrified stance.
A gaping hole the size of a spaceship passed through the creature as its core disintegrated. It didn’t get any last words as the remainder of the creature shattered into sparks of raw mana and its misty aura left the area.
“That took a bit out of me.” Ander landed softly on the ground as the lines on his body returned to his core the mana increased fading as well, leaving him near empty.
Junichiro sighed as he helped Ander get to somewhere safe. The destructive power he’d seen released was beyond what any human from this world could do with a weapon. The old man looked at the sky where clouds had been scattered and quite a few satellites were destroyed. At least he knew not to aim down.

“Kyrion is a bit too trusting of our skills.” Jin said as he slashed through another hoard of insects causing them to retreat.
"Less talk more fight." Kilo sighed as he continued altering the sound systems of various vehicles and connecting them to his system. If sound was their weakness, he’d do the best he could. Entering the swarm to save people was possible for him, but the various holes in his metal body left him quite injured. Coolant and oil flowed from quite a few places.
Jin had questions, but those could wait. A hand of insects blotted out the sun and descended upon the two of them.
“Uh Kilo! Hand!”
Chiyo appeared and cut through with various high-speed sword slashes, the nearby insects being turned into pulp in a blink.
“That was close.” Chiyo sighed.
“I’m done. Now I just need to connect it to my vocal…Shit!” Kilo’s sound adapter had been destroyed. Meaning his plan of simulating a drum, using his mechanical heartbeat wouldn’t work. Wrose his voice amplifier had also been pierced.
“Whats wrong!” Jin yelled.
“Need someone. To make lots of percussive noise.” Kilo ripped a device out of his neck and used it to build a microphone before he moved on to using sign language to speak.
“Currently. Mute.” Kilo signed.
“Really? You! Do you know anyone excessively good with a drum?” Jin pointed to Chiyo, as his ring glowed and fire spread out from his sword to a high degree. Somehow, Jin knew how to control the flames and used them to swat the swarm back a bit for some breathing room.
“Codename is Asura…Well I didn’t want to break these.” Chyio pulled out a set of condensed metal chopsticks, they were a prototype for a gift meant for Ander, each weighing five kilos…Kilograms. She then attached the mic to her wrist. And found a makeshift drum that had been prepared.
Each hit against the drum sent noise throughout the area and caused bugs to break formation. Allowing Jin to deal more damage as they began an offensive. The loud noise continued and more and more bugs died until a hornet the size of an elephant could be seen in the center, directing the other bugs.
Within seconds, a new wave of bugs formed a smaller condensed giant, although it was quite a bit stronger and more agile as well.
“Second form!” Jin yelled.
“Tell Kyr I’ll be fine and retreat!”
Kilo sighed as he activated his self-destruct countdown with his mind. To prevent his father's knowledge from getting taken by unscrupulous individuals, these bodies were given self-destruct functions capable of leveling a building.
With his remaining strength, Kilo buried himself into the swarm. The world turned blue as an explosion shook the area. Killing many insects and leaving but a single bug alive. Sadly it was the elephant-sized hornet, despite taking some damage it was fine.
“To think he’d blow himself up.” Chiyo seemed surprised.
“Grab and survivors while I hold it off, ok?”
“You and your orders. Fine! Don’t you go blowing up on us too though.”
“That isn’t my style.” Jin smirked with false confidence.
